Great food just like Wosster Street location, the staff were all nice, very helpful, friendly was empty but after we got there the dining area became busy and they delivery was busy too. The pasta fagioli, escarole and beans yummy, broccoli rabe and sausage to died for, the chicken pizza my friend had looked great, had half pepperoni and eggplant pizza delicious. A must try pizza. Overall great visit will definitely be back.

The pizza is great. Wings are average at best. Ordered a clam pizza, philly cheese steak pizza and wings. Pizza was delivered hot, possibly a little soggy but due to the toppings I guess. It took almost an hour and twenty minutes for delivery on a Friday night Overall a great pizza so I would definitely order again

Good solid Italian eatery. First and foremost the pizza is very good. They have traditional and some non-traditional offerings that will keep your palate entertained. They have some nice non-pizza offerings as well, their meatballs are especially good! Their staff is friendly and they know their menu well. Primarily a take-out oriented place, they do offer a dine-in option in a very minimalist, but clean, dining room. A trip here is not wasted if you enjoy trying good Connecticut pizza!

Stopped in to grab a few slices for lunch and wasn’t disappointed. Conveniently located on the post road. Good sized slices and covered in toppings. I’ll be returning for sure

I placed a order for pickup on a slow day of the week at that. A sausage and spinach calzone and a dinner entrée of lasagne. The girl on the phone sounded like she was new and didn’t know anything. After we placed the order the wait time was about 40 mins. So before the 40, I took the 10 min drive their to get there. So now that it’s 40 mins I go in and tell the girl were here for the calzone and lasagne pickup. She goes and checks to tell me I have to wait another 2 mins for the entrée. I agree and wait the 2 mins then after 5 mins she says it’s done and I pay for the food and take the take 10 minute drive back home. To find out that they gave us a Shrimp and Alfredo entrée. So we call back and tell the new girl which then puts the«owner» on. So we tell him and he starts mumbling on the phone like he doesn’t know what to tell us. 5 mins go by and he tells us to bring the dish back and come get ours. So I drive back which is another 10 min drive to get there. We tell her and she says again«it will be 2 mins». 10 mins go by now and the«owner» now ask us are we being helped. We tell him were waiting for the lasagne. He goes in the back and comes back to tell us «2 mins it will be done». We wait another 15 mins!!! Finally after 1 hour and 45 mins later we get our food. To drive back another 10 mins home to open up our food. To find out that the 13 $ lasagne was a flat as a piece of paper entrée. Had about 3 pieces of pasta and ricotta and a blob of cheese on top. What a joke this place is! Never going back again and I will tell everyone not to go here. Uploading a picture of the most depressing lasagne I ever seen in history.

I love Abates!!! And I miss it! The pizza is so good. The dough is just right. I moved away from CT and since then have been unable to eat pizza from anywhere else. If I visit CT again, I will definitely be stopping at Abates.

I just ordered from here and I feel like it’s a lot more expensive that it should be. I spent $ 7.95 on two triangles of fried mozzarella. That is way too much. The meatball sub was just okay too. I don’t think I would be ordering from here again.

Not like Wooster street! Stuffed mushrooms bland and cold in the center. Escarole and bean soup so salty and bitter, I had to return it. All paper and plastic plates n spoons. Young crowd working… Very displeased!!! Will not return!

I’ve only had pizza from Abate’s and only take-out, so I can’t comment on table service or other dishes. They make an amazing Sicilian pie. I’m partial to the Grandma’s Sicilian and have them add garlic. Killer pie! They also make a very respectable Napolitano, and the thin crust Grandma’s is delicious!

It’s our favorite pizza in Orange. I love the kick in the pepperoni they use and they never under cook the pies. I look at it more of a take out place and there is a definite need for very good take pizza. Abate’s is that for us.

The pizza here is consistently very good, my favorite for lunch is «grandma’s pizza». It looks fairly un-assuming, but the flavors are fantastic. One other great lunch, believe it or not is their Ruben Sandwich! Who would have thought in a pizza place, delicious!

Good pizza! I got Connie’s choice– white pie with garlic, basil, bacon, ricotta and spinach. Delicious and wow they do not cheat you out of toppings. I had a hard time finishing 3 slices from a small pie. Boyfriend got the calzone. Tons of cheese, great flavor. His only comment was that he wished the calzone crust was a little crispier. But he likes his stuff super crunchy. Tasted great to me! Looking forward to trying out more of their stuff!

This place is really catered towards being a delivery pizza place. I would not recommend dining in; although, if you really like Foxon Park sodas, they have a soda fountain serving the brand. The restaurant is generous with their pizza toppings, but the chicken does not have any taste! It’s truly bizarre, but for some reason, the chicken that they use has absolutely no taste – it’s just texture! I ordered the Pasta Combo, which is supposed to include manicotti, stuffed shells, and lasagna, but the food all tasted the same, no meat was present, and all three items appeared like stuffed shells. Overall, come here for the pizza. The pizzas are large, but for the price, this place is really meant to be a delivery convenience pizza place – quantity over quality. Nothing like the Wooster St joint.

I went to this establishment for the first time on November 22,2014 my order number was #237 and must i say that this was and is the worst pizza restaurant i have ever been to. I went with my family and even my mum. my mother in law and girlfriend didn’t like that while we were eating they were putting up the chairs giving us the hint to get out then from there shutting off the heat like we weren’t still there dining, but the worst of all is sweeping the floor while we sat at the table trying to eat. I have been to a lot of pizza restaurants more or less i have dined in at my fair share of restaurants and i have never seen any of this happen even the worst of the worst, before they start clean up they make sure the customer is informed that they have closed and they wait until they leave the room till they begin. But theses guys were sweeping the dust left right and center then had the audacity to say to us after we asked them to stop sweeping said«yeah thats why we’re sweeping around you guys«not to mention at this time they had already swept the dirt out of the bathroom where we were seated. We also saw a cook go into the restroom with an apron on, i don’t care who you are or where you come from but even a child knows that is just plain as hell wrong. The food was slow to get to us then they forgot one of our items in which we received right before our food was almost done.

You are missing out if you’ve never had their fresh mozzarella pizza with ricotta and garlic! Always consistent– especially when it comes to their chicken marsala and tortellini soup(though I’d love to see some veggies or chicken thrown in to it :)

I’m a pizza lover, a GOOD pizza lover! I don’t just eat anything! soooo when I heard this place was opening up I was excited, I have high standards when it comes to pizza because its easy to make and plus I really like italian food, hmmm I’m gonna put it like this, the pizza has some ok taste to it, but what I dont like the most is the thin crispy crust! it feels like im eatting pizza on a saltine cracker! don’t like it! not one bit
