Well, it was OK, maybe 2.5 stars. Not many options for breakfast at the Circle, and this one we hadn’t tried yet. I can’t speak for the baked goods, because I didn’t order any, but their breakfast is just OK. You order at the counter, take a number, and go take a seat. Service here is not that welcoming, not rude, but yet not friendly. I felt like I was bothering the lady behind the counter by standing there reading the menu. I ordered the Belgian Waffle combo, the waffle is not Belgian, and the bacon was soooo chalky, it crumbled at the touch, fruit… fruit is fruit. My husband ordered a breakfast ham panini,… meh, I make better one’s at home. Coffee was good though, and the café it self is cute, but honestly, I would not go back for hot items. I would give their baked goods a try though, they do look amazing. Overall, unimpressed.

Cute little Shop near the circle in Orange. My boyfriend and I went for breakfast yesterday and we’re pleasantly surprised. We had assumed that it was just a small bakery, but they actually have a full breakfast and lunch menu. We both ordered the vegetarian burrito. The burrito was delicious and came with a side of amazing salsa. The burrito would have been better if the salsa was on the inside because it was a little dry without it.
The only reason why it gets 4 stars instead of 5 is because they did not have hashbrowns. Instead, they had breakfast potatoes. Personally, I think all breakfast cafes should have hasbrowns… it’s a breakfast necessity

Food is so good and health choices are good. first time here and I enjoyed every bit. Daughter had the breakfast burrito wife and me had the panini also good. I have a Apple person melts in your mouth apples are good not to sweet and perfect.

I come here with my family from time to time and love it! Can’t come to often since we are not to close; we all live in different cities but love coming when we can. Their breakfast is delicious. My personal favorite is the veggie burrito and the fresh salsa it comes with is amazing! I love the décor, It’s two stories, makes it feel cozy and homey. Very relaxed, casual just a wonderful place overall. Customer service is also + !!

This review is long overdue. I’ve been coming here for nearly 8 years. I stopped for a couple of years and then when I started coming back it was better than I remembered. Now I come here with my family and we all love it.
So far, not one bad thing on the menu, however a few things do stand out. The vegi burrito is amazing. It’s actually my favorite breakfast burrito in Orange County. Period. The pot roast sandwich is great. The French dip is better than any restaurant dip I’ve had. Wife’s favorite is the spicy chicken philly. The list goes on. Also, best lemonade EVER, served ice cold. Try this place for breakfast or lunch. The blue frog will not disappoint!

Haven’t tried a meal here yet but menu looked good for breaky or brunch or just plain lunch. So this review goes to kind customer service and the coffe CHOC pastry bar thing I gobbled up to go. Desserts be inflating in price but I guess money was worth it if you’re like me and enjoy a good textured coffee tart bar of a pastry that seemed half pseudo ice cream sandwich.
Sorry I’m a terrible descriptor of words n foods but that $ 2.50 was well spent and my tummy be happy

(I have only tried the dessert here).
The PEACH TARTS are amazing. They are like miniature pies without the top crust. I chose them as the dessert for my wedding (instead of cake), and I could not have been more pleased with my decision. The apple tarts are good, too, and both flavors were a hit with my guests.
Btw, I had ordered 85 tarts, and they were ready for pick up on time.
I will admit I had been a little nervous at first several months ago when I first ordered them, because the owner did not write up a contract or anything, but everything worked out, so as casual as they are, they know what they’re doing, lol.

I’ve come to Blue Frog a few times now for their desserts and I’ve been happy every time.
My favorites are their large cookies and the coconut cake.
One of these days I’ll come by for a sandwich, but till then I’ll continue getting baked goods.
