This place is closed the nearest one is 4th street in Santa Ana. Perhaps they should take the sign down in old Town orange.

How have I missed this place!!! I came here for their free pops give away and was sad to see them close their shop but I was glad I got to taste their delicious homemade Popsicle one last time at Old Town Orange. I asked the lady if they were shutting down for good but she said they actually have two other locations one in Tustin and one in Santa Ana. And that they were just going to look for another location in Orange, so that made me happy. I tried their Raspberry Plum Basil and I really liked it, you could really taste the basil. They had all sorts of flavors like mango pineapple, strawberry lemonade, cookies n cream, dark chocolate. Well those were the flavors that they had left to give away. I’m sure there must of been a lot more to chose from. I cant wait to see where their new location in Orange will be, but for now I will definitely have to make a trip to their other locations.

I’ve actually been looking to try this place for a minute now. Its located on a street corner. The shop is a lot smaller than I had anticipated but the service was really friendly. The cashier chick was very patient while we glanced at the menu. I had the strawberry lemonade and my mom had the honey dew mint or whatever. Our total was 6 bucks even so I’m assuming that each popsicle was 3 bucks. I guess the honey dew mint was really good since my mom finished it before I could my strawberry lemonade. As for my pop, it was pretty good(not great) but very very good. It wasn’t as soft as I had anticipated but the pop was pretty flavorful. The downside is I really wish it was more on the strawberry side as opposed to the lemonade side(so I might actually try the strawberry banana next time). It was a super hot day though so this was a really thirst quencher. I do like the presentation of the pop and I definitely do wanna return to try the coconut one as well, that looked really good. The store itself really is more of a little area they have to sell their popsicles. The ambiance has a really old school friendly feel to it since it is located in old town Orange. Everything about the store just brought back a sense of nostalgia from when I used to grab ice cream with my gramps. Overall the experience was very enjoyable. Limited parking, its more of a walking to kinda spot but with great popsicles and being that its the only one of its kind in the area I kind definitely see myself returning here whenever I’m antique browsing/shopping again with moms.

We had Front Porch Pops catering our twins’ birthday party after experiencing them at a friend’s party. The team was easy to work with, and brought plenty of pops on a very hot day. They were delicious, Bruce was super friendly, and we got many, many rave reviews from the youngest attendees to the oldest. The kids enjoyed them so much, it easily overshadowed the cake.

Cute and tiny, just like the popsicles. I am more of an ice cream person and as they are pretty pricey, I just let my son pick one. He went with the cookies & cream and while it was ok, a bit better than I thought it was super frozen, covered in ice crystals, not too fun to eat. Service was nice, no seating so plan on taking it to go.

To be fair, I was never able to try what the store has to offer. I had a voucher that was expiring, but each time I visited the store, it was closed. Then I called the next time and left a message. I received a call back saying they would still honor my voucher if I come in within a week after the expiration date. Again, I came to find it closed and a sign on the door indicating changes in hours and days. It was a waste of my time, making the trek to the shop and driving around looking for parking just to find the shop closed each and every time. Even after being told to come in on a specific day, they made a new sign and changed hours. One of my biggest pet peeves is wasting my time. If you are in the area and see the shop open, great. Try it! If not, don’t bother going out of your way because you’ll most likely be disappointed. Don’t bother calling either because you’ll get a machine.

This place is so fun! You can either enter through the street or through Watson’s Food and Drug. This is a tiny little shop front, and the actual«Front Porch Pops» part is even smaller! The rest of the shop is a gift shop type thing. These popcicles are so amazing, and there are so many original and exciting flavors to choose from. They have your typical popsicles(just the icy stuff) but they also have that kind with the cream in the middle. Those are definitely my favorite! The menu is not always the same, mostly because it just depends on what they have in on that particular day. Sometimes they have samples, which are pretty much these super cute mini versions of the popsicle — so ask if they have any! Parking here is pretty much the same as the rest of Old Towne Orange, either street parking or a guest lot. Luckily, there is a guest lot very close to Front Porch Pops, so hopefully you will get lucky with a spot there. Otherwise, just drive around the neighborhoods and you will eventually find something. Just make sure you carefully read all the parking signs. They also have a restroom here, which is a great thing to keep in mind if you are spending the afternoon in Old Towne Orange. My only complaint is that SOMETIMES the customer service isn’t the best, but most of the time it is really great. Give this place a try, especially on a hot day!

Front Porch Pops is a small popsicle shop located in the store that is adjoined to Watsons Drug & Soda Fountain at the Orange Circle. Front Porch offers an array of handmade popsicles in regular, creamsicle and dairy free varieties. The shop itself is very small and really offers no seating, as this is a grab and go type of place. The selection changes regularly and several seasonal options such as pumpkin spice, vanilla spice, plum crazy & blood orange strawberry are available during peak seasons. The staff is friendly and available to ask questions and they offer online ordering for large orders or both popsicles as well as their homemade pies. The pricing is decent at $ 3 a piece although they are not large in size they do have good flavor. The day we went the selection was a bit small for my personal taste so I went with the Root Beer Float popsicle(a safe choice for me), which was good but not something I could not get elsewhere in a similar quality. We recently purchased a Groupon deal which gives us two popsicles with each visit so we will definitely be back to try several other varieties in the future. If you are a fan of popsicles then this may be a place for you but be aware that the flavors you are looking for may not be available each day as these do rotate so this area can be a bit hit or miss.

I’m updating my review after hiring Front Porch Pops for an event at UC Irvine that was sponsored by the Panhellenic community. Despite my qualms about the inconsistent service at Front Porch Pops, I couldn’t deny that they had a great product so I decided to hire them for the cart service and 100 mini pops. Price-wise, it was decent. The total was $ 177 including 2 hours of service with an attendant who served the popsicles from the«Popcart», 100 mini popsicles(5 flavors that I selected), and tip. Their full menu is not available for the mini-pops so I ordered the blueberry lemon creamsicle, watermelon, dark chocolate sea salt, mojito, and lemon raspberry cheesecake. The mini pops pretty small and can be finished in 3 – 4 bites. Booking the event was fairly smooth, but there wasn’t a good line of communication on their end. I had delayed responses to many things such as an initial price quote(which they claim will be done in 24 hours on the website) and even charging the bill to my card. However, the day of the event was smoother. The location of the event was tricky but they were very attentive on getting there on time with the Popcart. Our Popcart attendant was so sweet and even helped us with a few other things that our event included. She was very knowledgeable about the flavors and ingredients for our dairy-conscious event attendees. She was absolutely wonderful and one of the main reasons I’m updating this review. I really hope that Front Porch Pops continues to improve their customer service. Their pops really are a standout compared to other gourmet popsicles.

Blueberry Lemon Creamsicle! A perfect treat to cool off with. All the flavors looked appetizing, but I opted for a creamsicle to try a bit of the creamy & icy together. The cashier was very welcoming and knowledgable about their different flavors. And for $ 3, this gourmet popsicle is a steal! I cannot wait to come back to try the rest of these flavors — Thank god it is right in my backyard! Definitely make a stop in Old Towne Orange for this treat! I know i’ll definitely be back.

This is no ordinary Popsicle! There is a reason these are $ 3. They are REALLYGOOD. Homemade and excellent. Located next to Watson’s Drug Store in Orange, this place is REALLYGOOD. We ordered a strawberry creamsicle, whoa watermelon, and bananas foster. All three of us thought they were GREAT. This isn’t my first time, I’ve been here twice before and they’ve been GREAT.
