Its Del Taco!

Ah Del Taco, not exactly authentic but definitely more so than Taco Bell. Although it’s still a drive thru chain it’s a lot fresher and flavor profiles are much closer to real Mexican food than Taco Bell. Always the go to when wanting something, cheap, quick, easy going, and consistent. Plus this one is 24 hrs, so great when you want something after the bars. In particular, this one always gets our orders right and food and service are always consistently good.

Del Taco is a staple.
Always come here when I am home, sad there isn’t any near me by my college.
Huge fan of the chicken tacos, regular tacos, dollar iced coffee, and more. It is a very cheap, unhealthy, filling fast food place.
THis one in particular is a little different than other del tacos. The layout is unique but has a lot of seating that is usually always empty. People tend to just go get food and leave.
Hmm one thing that is off is that I got soft tacos on a Tuesday and they didn’t give me the deal and I didn’t realize until I got home. I wonder if they changed their rules or if the workers just messed up. Regardless, will be returning to this soon! One of the better quality of del taco’s that I have experienced!

This del taco always manages to mess up my order. I think it’s worse now that I’m almost 9 months pregnant and they get my order wrong… No what’s worse is that the box says DELUXE and I still get REGULAR, but I pay for DELUXE!!! How annoying. You had ONE JOB!

Found a piece of hard who knows what in my crispy taco the response bring me the taco I’ll give u another one with a no apology WTF kinda“lead” or what ever that girl was said it was hard rice like hello I know what rice looks like and its not squared tooth looking thing dang good thing it wasn’t my lil kid that got that in his mouth he would of swallowed that crap not pleased when she saw I walked away cuz she didn’t apologize at least then she came to me offering me 2 59 cent tacos shit.

I ordered the number 4 which I usually do. The burger, and tomato and lettuce was really fresh and crunchy which is rare in fast food. The food was very delicious. I also ordered the dollar nachos which were pretty good but the toppings were lightly on top only. Best del taco I’ve had.

This is my go late night snack place. 2 soft tacos fro $ 1.29. Perfect. Drive thru is as expected. Del Taco isn’t know for it’s super welcoming tone of it’s employees, but they get the job done, and usually pretty quickly. Been coming here for 6 years now off and on. Never been into the dining room though.

I go to this deal taco every weekend after work around 3am and everything is great! But tonight was the second time I went during the week. I had an encounter with «Maria» (i am going off of what my receipt says) both times I have pulled up to the speaker to order and she sighs, indicating she does not want to serve me. Tonight I pull up to the window and pay. About two minutes after placing my order she hands me a bag of food, which threw me off because I’ve never had an order come out that fast. I asked her if that’s everything and she said yes and closed the window rushing me out of the drive thru. After I drove off I realized she did not give me any hot sauce or napkins and my burritos were not made bold style which she charged me for. This is the second time she has gotten my order wrong and not given me any hot sauce or any napkins.

I go to a lot of restaurants including fast food joints now and then. But I rarely got into a Del Taco until a couple of weeks ago when I stopped at the location on Tustin Ave. in Orange. I ordered something simple — a couple of their tacos, and wasn’t disappointed. They really do this stuff pretty well.

This a fast food but it’s not that fast little bit slow they short on the staff the food is good but they need more worker’s its small place but it’s very clean.

What do I love about this Del Taco?
That it was right around the corner from Darren’s house. That we went cardboard surfing in its parking lot. That I scored a direct hit in Darren’s eyeball with a Del Scorcho twisty-​bomb on the way home once.
Good times.

I’ve worked around the corner from this Del Taco for about three years. I have consistently received excellent service and have been treated very well by the staff. The management is always helpful and friendly and I can’t say I remember having a problem at this restaurant. The staff remembers me and my weird soda orders and I like that. I have stressful days sometimes and my trip to Del Taco for my drink is my only break some days. Someone always has a smile or makes me smile and that’s a good thing. Good management

This is one of my favorite Del Taco’s
I eat here every Wednesday late night. After my Exodus 3 Branch, some of my guys come here to hangout. Here are things that I appreciate:
1) The employees are really cool at this location. They remember us now since we’ve come so consistently… I always like when workers start recognizing you.
2) Their dine-​in opens until 12am. I don’t know if that’s normal. I could’ve sworn others were open just till 10pm.
3) Here’s the first place I had anything «BOLD.» If you’ve never had Del Tacos items BOLD I suggest you try it. It includes (1) French Fries & (2) The sauce from a chicken taco on anything you order. I order Green Burritos Bold with onions… it’s awesome!
4) I order the 32 oz iced tea that’s .99c. But I ask them if I could add lemonade to make an Arnold Palmer (Cause I’m an Arnold… haha!). They let us all the time. I love it!
5) I, also, like the neatly stacked sauces laid out on the tables now at Del Taco…
A funny incident the last time I was here… A friend Mary has OCD tendencies… She spent most of the night organizing the sauces in color coordination, in staggered formation, & from back to front. I spent most of the time trying to mess up her perfectly organized stacks of hot sauces. I showed the employees at Del Taco… they were cracking up…
Mary… there’s an opening for you! ;)

Wait has been egregiously long for two garden-​variety half-​pound bean burritos with green sauce. Really? A five-​minute wait in the drive-​through line, at 2:37 p.m. — with yours truly the only customer in line? What’s with that?
Yes, the burritos are acceptable, but they’re certainly no better than at any other Del Taco store. The deal breaker with this particular site involves the drive-​through service: unfailingly inattentive and borderline rude, with the «customer service» crew chatting away and intentionally ignoring their customers. (Memo to Lincoln Avenue Del Taco crew: The reason you folks get a paycheck is – surprise — your customers. Offend enough regulars with your pedestrian fare and your brutal service, and you’ll definitely lose plenty of business … and, perhaps, your own jobs.
Until this team gets its collective act together regarding customer service — which, at its current rate, may not be for another three decades — I can’t imagine my returning here.

I think this Del Taco is better than the one I go to on Tustin Ave. My food was SUPER fresh! Yes I am a fast food princess and know my spots lol! Right now I’m on a mac&cheese bite roll so I frequent Del Taco a lot! The food was super hot all the way back home going up the hill! Definitely a fan of this location! ^_^

Del Taco has recently added a few new items to their menu.
Potato soft taco — two hash browns, shredded cheese, lettuce, and chipotle sauce. This was good. I wouldn’t get it often because the hash browns are deep fried.
Mini quesadilla — cheddar cheese inside their soft taco tortilla. This hits the spot if you are in the mood for a bit of quesadilla but don’t have the appetite for a full-​sized one.
Jacked beans, rice, and cheese burrito — mini size burrito with beans, rice, jack cheese, and green sauce. This was pretty good in my opinion. I would get it again.

Decided to try the shrimp taco and burrito for lunch the other day.
Food:
Bean and cheese burrito w/​extra green sauce … TINY and forgot my green sauce! 1*star
Spicy Shrimp Taco … The shrimp were almost burned and didn’t taste like shrimp anymore. 2**star
Spicy Shrimp Burrito … Better than the taco because all the fixins inside blended with my added hot sauces and lime to wipe out the burnt shrimp breading. Actually tasted some shrimp and it was good. 3.5***stars
This is one of the best Del Tacos IMO with ample parking, clean store, and friendly service. 4****stars
I’d come back but not for this shrimpy crap.

I love all Del Taco’s but this one was special because they had an awesome soda fountain machine. It was one of those that Coca-​Cola makes that has over 100 different options to choose from. It is also pretty slow at night so we were able to get our food right away.

Good fast food cheap.
