GHS Interactive Security

When it comes to home security & alarm companies it’s hard to know who you can trust which is part of the reason we were with ADT for so long. We stuck with them because of their big name but when we had issues with service from them and because our contract was about to end we decided to look at other alarm companies that could offer more value and still cost me the same or less than what we were currently paying. We ended up getting a lot more and paying less. What more could you ask for?
After a lot of tedious searching & researching and getting quotes from at least ½ dozen companies (local & online DIY) we decided to go with GHS as they offered the most features for the least cost. Christian came over to our house and explained exactly all of our options, everything that would be included with each option and the monthly costs. Keep in mind that pricing and contracts go hand in hand which means if someone else is offering a lower price you need to do your due diligence and find out what equipment is included and how long the contract is for. We did have to sign a 3yr contract but that seems to be standard with most alarm companies. After we decided on what we wanted they were able to schedule us for install within a few days. It could have been sooner but we weren’t available to have them do the install sooner.
When the install day came, Miquel & Noël came over to set us up. They were both very professional and explained everything they were doing. Since we had a lot of existing equipment (door & window sensors) they were able to use most of the equipment. Some of our sensors didn’t work for some reason and Christian was able to hook us up and help with the sensors we needed. Optional home automation stuff that was also added included a image sensor & zwave thermostat that would be accessed via Alarm.com’s website. We also had them install carbon monoxide & smoke detector that would send a signal to the monitoring station should it detect anything. The install went off without a hitch.
Unfortunately, after they left we realized that our thermostat wasn’t communicating correctly with
. We contacted GHS and they got Miguel right out. They’ve always been responsive when we called and very helpful. It did take a few service calls but now it’s working like a champ. The ability to access and control the thermostat while away from the house has been superb especially since it’s been so cold lately. We turn the thermostat on while we’re on our way home and when we get home the house is nice and toasty. With a baby this feature comes in very handy. We’re sure we’ll be using it a lot in the summer as well when it gets hot.
Christian has been great from beginning to end making sure we got what we asked for and that all issues were resolved. Christian is «Johnny on the spot». He responds via phone or text messages very quickly and promptly. He’s also very knowledgeable, punctual and keeps you in the loop of what’s going on. We couldn’t ask for a better guy to help us transition away from ADT. We love our alarm system and it’s all thanks to Christian and GHS.
