Hannaford Food

This Hannaford is located on the athol/​orange town line. Their deli is great, kudos to Amanda for slicing my meat exactly how i like it. Their produce is nicely laid out and fresh daily. I love the whole store especially their bakery. My mother wanted me to order their anniversary cake under short notice. Their bakery manager Kristin (spelling?) did an amazing job on the cake. Everyone loved it especially mom and dad for their special day. Amazing customer service. I will always stop in when I get a chance. I’m forever a fan of this hannaford location.
Always better service, quality and selection compared to market basket. also their aisles aren’t packed like sardines with riff raff and trashy people buying 8 cartons of cigarettes.

Its not bad. I wouldn’t expect a place in a smaller town to have much in the way of vegetarian and natural foods, but it surprised me. The prices compared to other places tend to be on the upper end of the spectrum with most things I shop for though, but its mostly not as outrageous like many local places that deign to carry such things. Just watch what you buy!
I am really not impressed with most of the produce though. Some of it tends to be pretty old.
The deli is rather nice, and the checkout staff are especially nice. The staff are significantly better than I’ve come to expect from a retail environment.

I am NOT a fan of the Hannafords in Orange. They have a very limited selection, are overpriced, and the produce STINKS! The ONE thing I can credit this store with is having a great checkout staff. Nearly everyone is friendly and make the horror that is checking out a somewhat pleasant experience.

Hannafords is overpriced on everything. The only reason I go here is because it is close. Market Basket is 25% less expensive, but unfortunately far away. I stop there on the way home from work to get my shopping done rather than break the bank at Hannafords.
