Came here for a pack of purple haze last week. I got home and started drinking a beer and noticed it tasted weird. I looked at the expiration date and it HASBEENEXPIREDSINCEMARCH6, 2015! ITSJANUARY2016!!! I called the liquor store and left a message to get my $ 12 refunded for the pack of beer and I never got a call back. Horrible customer service and above all, disgusting and horrible quality control.

George needs a raise!!! He brightens up the day with his smile and excellent customer CARE. I say care instead of service because he goes above and beyond. This place has the most AWESOME selection of craft brews!!! I am suuuper picky about my ale, but this place will hook you up! Great selection of wine and other spirits, as well as non-alcoholic beverages and snacks, too ;)

Been doing buisness there since it was Bottle and Smoke back in the early 60’s.

Good beer and wine selection. The main cashier has superb customer service, and I had never encountered a problem until I interacted with the owner surprisingly. I was purchasing cigarettes and beer at the time. The owner didn’t say«Hi», but asked me if I was pregnant instead. I looked at the beer and cigarettes I was buying and said«Really?» He said, «Are you married?» I said«Excuse me?» Bad customer service from this individual. I will continue bringing my business to this establishment, only when the other cashier is working and because the other cashier should be giving lessons to the owner.

I go here when I’m kicking it at my brothers house. The people there are always friendly. The convenience is the biggest perk, and prices are same as other places. I’m not really a drinker but they have quite a vast assortment of beer, wine, and liquors. It’s not Bev Mo, but it works just fine for me.

I’m mainly giving Hanshaws Liquor No 33 a five star due to their excellent selection of beer. And their ability to always bring in different and intriguing beers. There are some other pluses that account to the five stars. You can gamble there! LOL They have this quarter machine(like at Dave n’ Busters), where you shoot quarters into a machine and watch them fall down towards a shovel that pushes the coins towards a ledge. Along with the quarters, there’s dollar bills(even a $ 20 spot and a $ 5) that you could win. It’s fun, so always bring quarters to Hanshaws! They also have interesting liquor containers, like a machine gun or pistol filled with liquor(I believe tequila). Hanshaws generally has a lot of Stone beers and Bootlegger’s too. The interesting and unique beer I recently bought there was Rodenbach. Rodenbach is brewed in Belgium, aged in oak vats, and is only 5.2% alcohol per volume. Twenty-five percent of the ale has matured for two years. Rodenbach is known as a Flemish Red Brown ale and enjoys a special status in Belgium as a «Traditional Regional» product. I actually plan on aging this beer for a year or two. But this is what makes Hanshaws sooo cool; having an aged ale from Belgium is just one example.
