In our opinion, this doctor really doesn’t have much bedside manners. He seemed like he just wanted to escape and not talk at all. It was like pulling teeth to get information out of him. He was not mean, just not forthcoming with information and seemed uncaring, almost robotic like. Neither he or the nurses at St. Joseph’s hospital advised us of any possible complications from the procedure that was performed. We were not told about any post operative instructions or care. My father was discharged about 15 minutes after the procedure. Not surprisingly, he ended up in the ER a couple days later from complications that could have been avoided or mitigated had we been informed of possible post operative complications.
