I’ve continued to see Dr. Hu because he is a well-​known and well-​respected doctor. I like him and his staff, just didn’t like the long wait. However, in the last 3 years, his practice has improved quite a bit. I still try to make an 8:00 am appointment and the wait is very reasonable (10 mins or so). I also requested not to have any internship doctors so I can get in and out in about 40 minutes.
He know has an office in Costa Mesa as well. If you are looking for a Hepatologist or Gastroenterologist, don’t hesitate to contact his office. He is a great doctor with great bedside manners.

I’ve thought of changing doctors for the same reason. The wait can be as long as 2 to 2.5 hours. Today it was 1 hour and 36 minutes until I saw him. I honestly don’t know what to make of this. At times, I wonder if this translate to a general lack of care. If I was to do it over again, I would definitely not start seeing Dr. Hu. Now, it is tough to change because he knows my entire case history.
