Came here today for Valentine’s Day dinner with my fiancé and our son. We absolutely loved the atmosphere and the food. We like to keep it simple with chicken pad tai, fried wontons, and bbq chicken. And Thai teas. So delicious highly recommend !!

Amazing food and great service! I always come with my friends to eat here. Lanta Thai by far has the best deal with the Dinner Special compared to any other thai restaurant. P. S. The cream cheese wontons are off the hook!

By far the best Thai restaurant in this part of the county. The location is nothing to rave about we have been eating Thai food for over 25 years the gravies have something fresh and original about it. The wontons and spring rolls higher nothing great but their soups are very good. The place is reasonably priced. The quantity is more than enough for each person. Enjoy some great thai food

The hubby and I are new to Orange County so we’re still on the hunt for good date night options. We have three requirements — 1) There has to be ample parking. 2) It has to be cheap. 3) The food has to be delicious. Sounds pretty basic, but we’ve actually had a tough time finding restaurants that fit the bill. How does this place fare? We spotted the restaurant and were able to snag a spot right in front, although there is a parking lot behind the restaurant.(#1 — check!) One of the other reviews mentioned that Lanta Thai looks a little iffy from the outside but has a classy interior. Boy, they weren’t kidding! I personally don’t think that the storefront looks sketchy at all, but just by looking at it you’d never guess that the inside of restaurant would be so nice(and larger than expected)! The dining area isn’t exactly upscale, but it’s definitely elegant enough for a first date. The dinner specials are friggin’ awesome. For $ 12-$ 14 bucks, you get a fried wonton, vegetable spring roll, soup, rice, an entrée(obviously), ice cream, AND a drink. For your beverage you can choose a non-alcoholic drink or a glass of the house wine.(I recommend the latter!)(#2 — check!) On to the food. It was delicious. Seriously. All of it. Hubby got the pad see ew with beef, and I got the drunken noodles with shrimp. The portion size for the entrees is a bit smaller than usual(for a Thai restaurant), but considering all the other food that comes with the meal(plus the free wonton chips that they bring to the table!) it’s just the right amount. I left the restaurant completely full but not to the the point of post-meal, overeating regret.(#3 — check!) After a lot of let-downs, we’re SOOOO glad to have found this place. Lanta Thai Fusion definitely earned a spot in our date night restaurant rotation! *Additional bonus — they actually take American Express! This might not matter to a lot of people, but my AmEx is my favorite card and I’m always bummed at the number of places that don’t accept it.*

They use industrial quality meat. I saw the good review on Unilocal. So I decided to try. I ordered angel’s chicken and beef pat Thai. The chicken smelled so bad: I didn’t want to complain about food but my friend smelled same/she didn’t even try a bite. So I asked the server to return or replace to an other menu but she said NO since I bite the piece. Ok! Then I tried the pat Thai. It was too sweet and beef quality was low. Never come back!

This restaurant has changed owners in the past few years, but they kept the recipes and it is still by far the best Thai around. The staff is super friendly and while attentive, not overbearing or rush you at all. I wish this place was closer to me as I’ve moved Yorba Linda now, no longer in Orange, but I will gladly make the drive, cause it’s that good. Some of our favorites, we have tried alot more but always go back to these dishes cuz they are our favs Tom Kah soup green salad — sesame dressing is amazing Green curry Panang curry Pad se ew

BF wanted Thai food and so decided to give this place a try. A little hard to find, but I’ve been driving down this street so many times that I’ve seen their sign before. Parking is in the back! They have dinner specials which come with your choice of one of the entrees listed, Thai spring roll & fried wonton, choice of different soups or salad, a drink, and coconut ice cream for dessert. What we got: Complimentary Appetizer: it’s so simple, but yet so good! It’s just like wonton chips with a sweet and sour dipping sauce. I could have sat there and ate it all day… Dinner Special w/Beef Pad Thai, Thai Spring Roll & Fried Wonton, Tom Yum Soup, House Red Wine, and Coconut Ice Cream($ 13): pad thai was pretty good, squeezed some lime on it and added a little chili powder and yum! Thai spring roll is like an egg roll and came with the sweet and sour dipping sauce. Fried wonton was okay, nothing special. Tom yum soup had mushrooms and tomato and tasted just like tom yum should taste. Pretty big glass of red wine! Not sure what kind of wine it was though. Small scoop of coconut ice cream, but it was refreshing! Dinner Special w/Spicy Curry Noodle, Thai Spring Roll & Fried Wonton, Tom Kha Soup, Thai Tea, and Coconut Ice Cream($ 13): first time trying curry noodles and it was exactly how I thought it was going to be. Wide flat rice noodle with curry on top. It was like a red curry and came with carrots and broccoli. The curry wasn’t spicy at all and the rice noodles were all clumped together. It was good, but not something I would get again. Tom kha soup was really good though, it was coconut-y and sour at the same time. Thai tea was more on the cream-y tasting side and could have been better. Service: Small restaurant with not many tables and a little dark in there. Pad thai didn’t come with lemon or lime and no spice rack at the table so it took them awhile to get that to us.

#100Reviews2015 — Review No. 44 The roommates and I were searching for a Thai place that would happily serve veganized versions of their usual fare, and up popped this little gem in our handy dandy Unilocal app. Off we went… Located off of Katella in this little strip mall next to a Laundromat, parking is best found in the rear, as is the usual entrance. Staff is friendly and are fairly attentive, and seat you pretty quickly. The décor is pretty enough, white tablecloths and all that, and seating is comfortable with tables and plenty of booths. Pro tip: ask to be seated away from the door if possible, as other customers have the not-so-delightful habit of standing in the doorway, and holding the door open, creating quite a drafty situation. No bueno when it’s 45 degrees outside! Portions are generous, and the dinner special is a decent $ 12.95, which provides appetizer, meal, non alcoholic beverage, and dessert. Alternately, you can order a la carte from their decent sized menu. The curries tend to be my favorite thing to order here, with the panang being at the top of my list. Best thing though, is knowing they will happily veganize pretty much anything on their menu for you if you ask. Service tends to be ok, though it’s been a bit slow on the weekends. This however has not hurt the quality of the food :) Highly recommend.

LTF is a great little hole in the wall that is easily missed, even by hyper locals like myself! Don’t let the strip mall location fool you, this is an immaculate sit down restaurant. I have been multiple times with my family, including my two very picky-eater parents, and have never been disappointed with either the food or the service. All of the traditional dishes I have tried have been great, and I am happy to report I have finally found a dinner spot that knows the meaning of the word«spicy.» I also love the wontons and sauce they provide the table, because I like to preface my carbs with other carbs, duh! Speaking of carbs, this restaurant is a great option for those with dietary restrictions. Sometimes I try to fight my inner demons and order meals without noodles, and their options are great. I will say that I have opted for other restaurants because of their lack of a soda machine. Call me tacky, but for me one of the most enjoyable parts of a dinner out is a fountain drink. Cans just don’t cut it. Another thing that has irked me is that they often serve dishes as they are ready, meaning one person may get his order a solid 10 minutes before the rest of the table does. It makes things awkward and food can get cold while waiting for the rest of your party to be served. If you are in the mood for Thai, this is a great place to try!

This is the THIRD time I’ve reviewed this place, and it still doesn’t cease to amaze me. I’m Thai, I KNOW good Thai food. I grew up eating Thai food. I’ve been to many, many Thai restaurants and diners and stalls. I have eaten here countless times. I always get the same thing: pad see ew beef with Chinese broccoli(I don’t even have to specify how I want my pad see ew anymore haha). This is the first time I’ve dined in for dinner. It was my and my boyfriend’s second anniversary. We were served complimentary chips with sweet and sour sauce. We ordered shrimp rolls for an appetizer, Thai iced tea, coconut water, pad see ew, and panang curry. There were shrimp rolls and the rolls themselves were big but the shrimp was only in the very middle-ish. It was served with sweet and sour and the roll was the same as the chips so it was yummy eating it anyways. My Thai iced tea was a little unsweet but still delicious: p I tasted the tea a little more strongly than usual. My boyfriend couldn’t stop raving over the coconut water. It’s served the Thai way, out of an actual young coconut. Super delicious! Our entrees were the usual. The usual being amazing. I overheard a dad and his daughter in the booth next to us raving about their food as well. The little girl said, «I’m so happy. I’m freaking out» over their food haha. Come to Lanta’s. You won’t regret it.

This is an awesome Thai restaurant! We come all the way from Irvine to eat here on a regular basis. My husband who is used to his mom’s amazing Thai cooking loves this place, and he is a tough critic(very little compares to mom’s home cooking, right?). You are always warmly greeted upon entering, and the restaurant itself is very clean(not always the case with many Asian restaurants). The food is not only mouth watering and delicious, but it’s an exceptional value for all you get(make sure and order either the lunch or dinner specials that come with soup, appetizer, and coconut sorbet… And wine with dinner!). This place is a hidden gem which should not be missed!

{{{ 3.5STARS }}} This place serves good Thai food for a reasonable price! We went here for dinner since it was pretty close from our hotel and we were seated right away upon arrival! WEORDERED ___________________ — Papaya Salad — Most Thai places I’ve been to would ask how spicy you’d like the papaya salad to be, but our server seemed a little agitated and just put in the regular order which was more spicy than normal! — Angel Wings — This dish was delicious! *must try* — Beef Penang Curry — Really delicious and they were pretty generous with the amount of veggies, but you can tell they skimped out on the meat! The broth was really good though! — Beef Satay — Loved this appetizer! not dry at all! — Chicken Larb — Pretty good portion, but it could’ve used a little bit more acidity and spiciness! — Pineapple fried rice — It was super good and liked pairing the dishes we ordered with this! The hint of curry flavor was delicious also! Overall the food was pretty good! Our server seemed a little agitated for some reason and several items we tried to order for we got a «i’m not sure i have to check» reply back from her. She also stopped me in the middle of ordering and said I was pronouncing the item wrong and that she didn’t want to confuse«satay» from«pad thai». LMFAO! I literally gave her a blank stare after that and just continued to order. They were also on the slow side that evening and they decided to serve the curry and larb WAYYYYY before the rice! They literally served the pineapple fried rice last so we ended up ordering some white jasmine rice since we didn’t have anything to pair the other dishes with!

Lanta Thai Fusion is a small family owned Thai restaurant located in a somewhat scary strip mall. Don’t let the word fusion confuse you. They serve mostly Thai dishes. Stepping inside we were greeted immediately. We were able to get a booth close to the entrance. Their menu includes a variety of Thai dishes including appetizers, salads, soups, noodles, curries, rice dishes, meat dishes, entrees, and desserts. There is also a lunch special menu from 11am to 3:30pm daily. The lunch specials are served with salad, soup, egg rolls, and white rice. Looking at the menu, most of the Thai food here is authentic but some of the dishes are Americanized. Just have to look closely at the ingredients. We ordered several dishes. We also got complimentary salads to start off the meal. I ordered the Angel Wings and Panang Curry with Beef. The food arrived rather promptly. By looking at the ingredients, the dishes that we ordered were authentic. Angel Wings($ 8.50) — The breaded batter was very juicy and crispy. The stuffing which consisted of chicken and glass noodle was very tasty and flavorful. The chicken portion was very tender. The dipping sauce that was made up of cucumber and sweet chili sauce added a nice complimentary sweet and sour flavor to the angel wings. Panang Curry with Beef($ 10.95) — Superb flavor of the panang curry paste along with the coconut milk. The pieces of beef were quite big and thick. However, most of the pieces were a bit chewy. Yikes. Now the bowl of jasmine rice I ordered is now sitting there all lonely. My dad ordered Rad Na and my mom ordered Khao Soi. They both enjoyed their dishes. The owner gave us mango with sticky rice as a complimentary dessert dish which was nice. They also gave us coconut juice to try for free. The décor is pretty simple with some Thai décor and artwork. There’s quite a bit of seating available. This restaurant seems to be very booth happy. On one side there one long booth from one end to the other and the other side has around three booths. The tabletops are glass with tablecloth underneath which is quite common in Thai restaurants. Music is mostly modern music including John Legend, Sam Smith, Bruno Mars, and Taylor Swift. Service was great! The servers came by often asking to see if we needed anything. The owner was talking to us for quite a while. The free dessert and drinks previously mentioned were also nice gestures. There’s a lot of parking available. This is quite refreshing since most Thai restaurants I’ve been to have very limited parking spaces or parking is just terrible in general. I also got some food to go in which I ordered Pineapple Fried Rice. The pineapple fried rice was really tasty. It was super flavorful as it was infused with curry powder and pineapple. In addition, the texture of the rice was soft which is a plus. They really packed the to-go box to the brim, not skimping on portions. Overall, pretty good Thai food with great service. Aside from the Panang Beef, everything else was delicious. Great portion sizes with reasonable prices. Will be back to try more dishes.

I was craving some delicious Thai food and this place nailed it!!! Came here for dinner with a friend and we were pleasantly surprised once we stepped inside. From the outside it doesn’t look like much because its part of long building complex but the inside is nice and modern. The place is not that big but rather long. There is couple of booths but mostly small tables. They have a variety of things on their menu and I was very impressed with the fact that they serve Khai Soi! I have been desperately looking for this amazing dish after being introduced to it in Thailand. Not that many restaurants serve Khai Soi and I have been looking for it ever since my trip because I was hooked!!! My friend ordered their shrimp drunken noodles and I got the Khai soi. OMG! The Khai soi tasted just as I remembered it. It took me back to Thailand and that was an incredible experience. Although the crunchy noodles were not quite the same the sauce was spot on!!! The sauce was nice and coco-nutty and spicy. We shared our entrees and it was more than enough food for the both of us. The drunken noodles were also quite tasty but the spotlight of the night was the amazing Khai soi. My friend really enjoyed it and thanked me for introducing this new dish to her. She is crazy about Thai food and had never heard of Khai soi so it was nice to share my food experience with her.

Been coming here for years! If you’re looking for quick authentic Thai food, look no further. I’ve only been here during lunch so my review is based on that menu and service. This place is usually packed but surprisingly you never have to wait long for your food to arrive. Every lunch entrée includes warm cabbage soup, a small salad, and a crunchy little egg roll. This should keep your tummy satisfied until your main course arrives. I have tried many dishes here but most of all love their Drunken Noodles, Wonton Hot Pot Soup, and the #10(forget the name). All flavors are so well balanced and you can’t beat the price. All for under $ 8. I recommend this place to everyone! P. S.- Thai Tea and Coffee are out of this world!

Very nice Customer Service! Thai Dinner! I stopped by to pick up take out. Great option of calling in. The food was ready and they have dinner specials also. Everyone was super nice. We ordered about five different items from the dinner special menu. The price was very reasonable. The restaurant faces Katella but you can also park in the back. I was lucky enough to park right in front and it was a quick in and out pick up. ~Khao Soi– 4 Stars! They do a nice version here with chicken and can do it with beef at your request. This is a very sold dish here. Very nice folks running this shop. The restaurant is very clean and cozy. In addition, easy parking and reasonable prices combined with a very extensive menu are the highlights for me. Food quality is good and the taste was AOK for me. Khao Soi is the thing to order here. AOK!

Excellent food and excellent service. The location is a little hard to find but worth the effort. The Yellow curry was the perfect balance between spice and sweetness. Server suggested chicken chow mein for our son, he loved it! Everything was fresh, the salads were crispy with a slice of avocado and melon and dressing sprinkled on. We liked it so much we’re going back for dinner! Glad we finally found good Thai food in OC.
