Always a favorite with me and the man. Went for dinner last week with a group and again was happy with the service and the food. We also brought a bottle of wine and to our delight, found out there is NO corkage fee. Only criticism is with the heavy duty lemon on the arugula that topped my marguerite pizza. Went way over board with it to the point of being inedible. Might want to use a lighter hand with the lemon juice in the future.

I will never visit this establishment again! We waited over 45 minutes after they gave us our pager… it never went off, so I went to ask about our table and they gave it someone else. Spoke to the manager and she said there was nothing she could do about it… RIDICULOUS!!! Should be called Dirty Dogs!

I haven’t been to a Lazy Dog in forever! After seeing so many great reviews and great pictures on Unilocal,I decided to give it a try again! I’m so happy it didn’t disappoint :) On a Friday night at 7 pm I only to has wait a few mins. Granted it was only a party of two though. I saw that the bigger parties had to wait. Yay for small groups! I wanted to Riesling but they don’t carry that wine anymore, boo! I opted for the Pinot Grigio and that was still supa yummy! My friend got the pink lemon drop. It was so pretty looking! Also tasted great. If you check in on Unilocal, you got a free flat bread. It was huge! I was expecting something smaller because it was free. I loved the Dog even more after seeing the size of the flat bread! For food, I order the Kung pao chicken without peanuts with brown rice. So yummy! I was a happy camper :) I also got the sweet potato tots that my friend and I shared. These were so addicting! I think I finished most of them, they were so good! My friend ordered the enchiladas from the nutrition section. They looked good. I just can’t do healthy when I’m out ;) Our waiter was a little aloof and slow. She was super sweet but she may have been new. Overall though, she was nice. After dinner, we went outside and sat by the fire pits and ordered some more wine. It was so prefect! I like how they have fire pits and stuff outside that you can just chill at. The waiter out there was awesome! So attentive and sweet! Parking is super sucky! There’s other restaurants and also a movie theater is the complex. And I think that the hockey game attendees also park here, which is lame! There’s signs everywhere saying they can’t park here. It should be monitored because then parking sucks for the rest of us. Next time I want to try the brunch here. See you soon!

Had dinner with a couple of friends. My steak dinner was good and cooked right, the way I asked for. I also ordered the calamari over brown rice as an appetizer, a LD signature dish. I had high expectation of this dish. It was horrible; none of my friends liked it at all. We each took a bite and left it alone. A friend’s burger was tasteless and dried. The French fries and wings were very decent. The signature calamari appetizer really killed it for us. The most horrible thing that we have ever eaten.

Here to celebrate a co-workers birthday. First, parking is a little crazy here for a Friday. Some really great restaurants and a movie theater are in this center. And, the Honda Center is down the street, which probably increases some of the business here. So parking can be a real pain. The wait for a table wasn’t so bad. I came in before the rest of the party arrived. They had told me that it would be a 35 – 45 minute. I was like perfect, co-workers should have clocked out and arrived by then. But, it was much faster, like 25 minutes. I told hem that I was the only one in the party that was there. They asked where my co-workers were coming from, and they said to just go ahead and take the table. So I sat there at a table for 8 when one co-worker arrived. Haha! It was nice of them to just go ahead and give me the table, when most places require at least half or the entire party. Food hasn’t been bad at this location at all. This day I elected to get the fish and chips, my regular favorite here. Always fresh and crispy, not like some places with this dish where it tastes like it’s been sitting for a bit and not crunchy at all. Swapped out the cole slaw for fresh seasonal fruit. The funny thing was that I had to ask for the tartar sauce. Who serves fish and chips without it? So had to ask for it. And to wash it all down, an Irish Mule! That mule was fantastic. Overall great experience. The only downfalls was the parking and having to ask for the tartar sauce. The wait service was great. We had Mckenzie. Very attentive.

I frequent lazy dog pretty often. Usually this one or the one at the tustin market place. Tonight I am hugely disappointed. The service here was completely awful. Our server took exactly 25 minutes to take our order after sitting down. The worst part is it was not even busy at all and the whole time we could see him chatting with another patron just a few tables over. So after waiting 45 minutes to finally receive our food, even that was a complete let down. I ordered the tex mex salad which I have had before and enjoyed. However, this time it was literally inedible. The lettuce was not fresh at all and the chicken was in huge chunks that were very rubbery and flavorless. Really surprised to have this experience here. Normally lazy dog is our go to late night spot. But this will really make me think twice before coming to this one.

Lazy dog gets 5 stars for their butter cake and their consistent exceptional treatment of our dogs and us. Most items I’ve ordered have been pretty good; last visit I had vegetable lasagna which was pretty awesome. It doesn’t matter what you order for lunch or dinner; most importantly, remember to get the butter cake at the end. Will leave you satisfied.

¾ stars for food. 1⁄1 star for service. The food is a little salty in my opinion, but the service is friendly. I love being able to take my dogs here and even have a menu for them. Despite being salty, they have a decent line up in their menu for food selection. I highly recommend the flat bread, which you can get for free at the moment for checking in on Unilocal.I also recommend the chicken strips, very tender with a nice crisp.

I came here after climbing at factory bouldering since it’s close by and it opens late. It was late Thursday night and there was plenty of places to park in the parking lot. We didn’t have to wait at all for a table. It was my first time here and I was very happy with the food and service. I got the edamame beans and sweet potato tots which were both on the happy hour menu. They were super delicious. I recommend sharing the edamame beans because they are seasoned and if you eat too much then it starts to get a little salty. I’m normally used to just eating them plain, so I was very surprised with how good they tasted when they were seasoned. The sweet potato tots came with a sauce to dip it in and the combination was amazing. I had a bite of other people’s dishes and they were all really good as well. It was my first time going to lazy dog and I can’t wait to go back to try the other food!

We were attending a Kings away game at the Ponda and decided to have our pre-game meal here. It was busy, so we had to wait about 10 minutes to get seated. There were tons of Ducks and Kings jerseys everywhere. It was a pretty sight. The menu is your typical bar food fare. I ordered the veggie lavish wrap. It came with a side of corn salsa. Our appetizer was ahi poke. Both were okay, nothing impressive. Our server was efficient, getting us out of there with plenty of time to walk to the game. There are a ton of bars and nearby restaurants in walking distance of Honda Center. This place didn’t stand out so much that we would make the trip back.

Located down the street from the Honda Center in a plaza with a Century movie theater and a potpourri of restaurants including this Lazy Dog Restaurant and Bar. I met my friend, Bonnie here before a Ducks hockey game to have an early dinner, catch up, and to celebrate a belated birthday. We arrived at 3:30 pm, just in time for Happy Hour(which started at 3:00) and also to take advantage of their lunch menu(which ended at 4:00). The catch with the Happy Hour is you must eat in the bar or patio area. It was getting cold outside, so we found a table in the bar. We sat down around 3:30, and ordered some drinks. We decided on to eat off the lunch menu, and placed our order at 3:38 pm. The reason why I knew the time was I wanted to make sure we still made the cut off for the lunch menu. I had the lunch fish n chips, while Bonnie had the bowl of corn chowder with a chicken BLT sandwich combo. Within 10 minutes, Bonnie received her bowl of soup. I was wondering why she didn’t get her soup with the sandwich, and assumed it was coming soon. At 4:10 pm, I noticed the customers behind the bar were getting their food, and when we sat down, the bar area was relatively empty. The table behind us, who also sat down after us, got their food. I asked a random server to check our food, and it came at 4:15. While my 2 little fish were relatively hot, the fries were lukewarm, which told me they sat under a heat lamp. Lucky we weren’t pressed for time, but half an hour from the soup to entrée still seems unreasonably slow. The food was just ok. Its a chain restaurant, so I wasn’t expecting amazing food. I guess it would have been better if the fries were piping hot. At 5:10, we asked for the check, and it was incorrect. I handed my AMEX to the server, and told her the bill was wrong. I’m not sure if it was adjusted but if it wasn’t, it was just off by $ 3.00 and I wanted to just leave for the Honda Center. We didn’t leave the restaurant until 5:40 pm, and the place was packed with a line outside the door. I sure hope those who were in hockey jerseys made it in time for the game… as the service was too slow for my liking. If you are not in a hurry, and want to sit, chill and chat for a while, I would suggest this place, as the menu has something for everyone, and its not too expensive. If you’re looking for a quick bite to eat, go elsewhere.

Dropped in for their Happy Hour which is only offered at the Bar and Patio only. My mistake for thinking it wasn’t going to be busy at 6:40PM, 20 minutes before Happy Hour ends. Luckily I was able to grab 3 seats at the bar(I got a pager for a table but the thing didn’t go off until 7:10PM). Wok-Fired Calamari — My favorite item to order off the happy hour menu. These are best eaten fresh and crispy but when it gets soggy halfway through the meal, ehh… not so great. The portion size is perfect for one person or to share between two with another item. They definitely don’t skimp on the amount of calamari. The tangy flavor can come off a bit overwhelming but nothing to worry about, the rice(brown or white) is enough to cut through it with the help of some sweet peppers. Chicken Tenders &BBQ Sauce — Definitely not the business. Frozen isle Chicken Tenders are better then this. The Chicken was dry, barely had any breading, and was soggy instead of crispy. BBQ Sauce was also really thick and too smokey for its own good. Thank goodness we had the small Happy Hour Portion instead of overpaying for their regular sized portion. Chicken Chile Verde Nachos — I was surprised this item came from the Happy Hour Menu as this thing was huuuuge. Easy fed three people and we couldn’t even finish it with our own happy hour order. Comes with everything you would ever need on a plate of Nachos. Only negative was that towards the end of the plate, most of the nachos on the bottom were soggy and limp from the Chile Verde. Service — The Bartender that took care of us was obviously overwhelmed by all the drink orders to check on us. The Old Fashioned we ordered was decent but could’ve used a bit more alcohol. After putting our food order in, she never came back to check on us to see if we want to put in any additional orders or if the food came out okay. Lazy Dog’s Happy Hour selection has always been pretty damn extensive and at times, very delicious. But ordering from this location, you’ll have to choose wisely as not all things are created equally. Service was also disappointing but I’ll give our Bartender/Server the benefit of doubt that she was overworked that night.

YUM!!! Visiting from Scotland, UK went to see the Ducks at the Honda. After the have to avoid traffic wars leaving the area we popped in for food. Service was awesome. We sat inside, outside looked lovely, stunning big fire pits. Though outside is dog friendly, one of our party was allergic so we opted for inside. No dogs allow despite the name. Service was fast & friendly, we took ages ordering because there was so much choice. We opted for starters, chicken tenders & then garlic bread for the table to share. The chicken tenders were a meal in it’s self, came with chips! I then went for the Wok Teriyaki — delicious! Seriously, if you get the chance to go to Lazy Dog… GO!

Basic chain here. Server was super nice and very accommodating. I had a late flight in to LGB and after my husband picked me up he said he was hungry and so we were in the area and stopped here. We had the hummus and pita sampler. My husband didn’t care for it and for some reason they put cheese on their pita bread. Weird. Got some sent out with no cheese. Not sure if it states that on the menu! We only ate a few bites and left it. We split a veggie burger and a tofu stir fry. Neither that fab but once again the server was very accommodating to our questions and requests. Just wanted to make sure of no eggs and no cheese :) I think I would review this place as two stars for the super basic chain food but the server she was soooooo nice they earn another star!

Such a cute puppy dog theme to this place! I visited Southern CA and my friend suggested this place for lunch. We had a lovely table outside on a gorgeous, sunny day. Service was quick, friendly and attentive. We loved the grilled cheese sandwich, and I also enjoyed the freshness of my Caesar salad. My friend brought her pup along and she purchased unseasoned chicken with rice for her dog, and he loved it! They also brought a bowl of water for him. How cute and lovely! And it is in a convenient location. I would totally come back if in the area!

Happy hour on Wednesday, 8÷12÷15 This review will only be for the happy hour menu. We walked in with a large party that took up two long tables. There were plenty of tables available on a late weeknight. The service was attentive and the food came out at a decent time. Even though we had a large party, the servers had it organized. It’s a bit dim inside but it’s very casual. Don’t forget that you can bring your pet with you. I ordered the late night burger for $ 5 off the happy hour menu along with the spinach dip for $ 6. The burger was good with the usual condiments. The chips that came with the spinach dip wasn’t quite what I expected. It was a bit on the hard and crunchy side. I think I’d rather have tortilla chips. The dip was good with large pieces of spinach. There was one pungent cheese in it too so be prepared. Overall, the service was great and the happy hour items were worth it. I’d come back again to try the list of other goodies.

At the end of the school year my son received an award which had a free kids meal award from Lazy Dog Café. Yayyyyy! We went for dinner last night and it was really busy but to our surprise we got seated at a great booth in a little less than ten minutes. I love the décor in the place. There are dog photos and frames on the walls. Who doesn’t love looking at cute pups?! A lot of wood sculpts and wood tables. There was a cool dog statue made of metal. It’s a loud environment with all the peeps which I like. I have to note that our waitress Alissa was amazing! She gets 5 stars for her great service. She was super friendly, quick, payed attention to detail and just on point. She kept coming around our table and making sure we had everything we needed. She brought the kids little cups that have Twizzlers and fruit loops to make dog collars while waiting for food. For an appetizer we started with the trio hummus platter. Comes with three different flavors of hummus, cucumbers, tomatoes and pita bread. Our waitress gave us extra pita too, she was awesome! The veggies were fresh and the pita bread is warm, soft and has a thin layer of cheese. All three hummuses were delicious! We loved this starter and it’s worth it! For our plates my hubby and I split an avocado turkey burger wrapped in lettuce, no bun, and a mahi mahi wedge salad. The salad is actually not on the menu but I knew about it from the Unilocal menu. I asked the waitress and she said they could still do it and I was so glad because it was fantastic! So fresh, with a great grilled fish and dressed with a yummy ceasar dressing and drizzled balsamic. They definitely need to add this back to the menu! The burger was good too but they forgot to add the avocado. It came with a huge piece of watermelon that again was really fresh and and sweet! My sons ribs and daughters pasta I did not try but they were very pleased! I must say we had a great experience and will definitely be back! If you want to bring your dog to dine, you can do so and eat in the patio area.

Came here about a month ago and I gotta say — very impressed! We decided on this spot as a way to decompress after a very busy work day. Despite the crowd, we were able to score a table outside with no waiting. WIN! I had a strawberry margarita, blended, and it was damn tasty. Not too strong, not too sweet, and fresh strawberries. Thumbs up! I had the pot roast, which was awesome. The gravy was amazing. Seriously, amazing. The portion is HUGE, so there was plenty to take home. Everybody enjoyed their dishes. The spinach dip was bomb, as well. The service was good, not great, but good. Yeah, I’m a hard ass when it comes to service. Deal. Overall, solid 4 star experience. If you have dogs, you are allowed to bring them. Pretty neat. Definitely recommend and since they opened up a location in Cerritos, I will be back, for sure.

Fool me once shame on you but fool me twice and shame on me. This Sunday we decided to have some lunch at Lazy Dog. I had my Birthday certificate for a free appetizer or dessert so I was about to get my free on. You know what they say. it taste better when it’s free. Order: Chicken wings Chicken lettuce wraps Half sandwich & half soup combo(Chicken walnut and chicken tortilla soup) Spaghetti alfredo For being as busy as it was our food came out pretty fast. Chicken wings were good and had just came out of the fryer. The order came with 10 wings and 3 sauces. Chicken walnut salad sandwich tasted fine and the fries were hot and crispy. The chicken tortilla soup had plenty of chicken, cheese and flavor. I was pretty happy with everything until(drum roll please) I was about to put a spoonful of chicken lettuce wrap in my mouth when I see a ½″ black hair perfectly wrapped around the ground chicken. Oh, how delicious! Thank you may I have another? How ironic is it that I stopped coming to this particular location two years ago since my last visit there was a blonde hair in the chicken lettuce wraps. Either I am being punked or this is a conspiracy. Our server called the manager who apologized for the hair and assured me she would speak with the head chef. She apologized numerous times, comped the entire meal and gave three future vouchers which included two $ 10 credits and another free appetizer or dessert. I definitely appreciated that. Easiest way to summarize this meal experience is stuff happens. Lazy Dog has good eats, decent prices, great service, a management team that is willing to go above and beyond. So as easy as it is to leave a one star, Lazy Dog in Orange gets three.
