Amazing burgers! Boyfriend had the cowboy burger and I had the spicy ahi salad. The burger was to die for! The ahi was really good too but I wish I got the burger considering how much I paid for a plate of lettuce and 5 little slices of fish. Beautiful atmosphere though, definitely going back soon(:

First and last time eating here… must be a miserable place to work absolutely NO one smiled or was friendly at all. I ordered a spicy bloody Mary that was supposed to have asparagus it looked like it had a half eaten green bean and a piece of bacon chewed in half. chicken nachos weren’t even warm. better at 711 and I would never get them from there… the bartenders were about as friendly as snakes… we are leaving to eat dinner somewhere 2

Went in to pre game for happy hour. They have great selection of beers and apps all at a discount. Our server was Mellissa. She wasn’t very pleasant but I’m not going to mark the restaurant down on her behalf. The outside bar w the view of Honda center is very nice. We had wings, calamari, Mac n cheese(side order) size of an app. And poke. All of the food was delivered fast and tasty. All the rest of the staff was smiley and friendly. Great spot to post up and enjoy happy hour before game. Prices are great for quality of food you get.

I went here on mothers day. And it was not packed at all. It was noon and I was with a big party. The service was ok they were very nice but with such a large group we needed to be checked on often and we were not. The food was edible. Not the top quality I was expecting seeing how I have never been to this place. I heard so many great things about this place. Maybe it was because it was brunch and not dinner. Idk I could be making excuses for them. I would go there for drinks and apps but not a full meal it’s more casual for a meeting or a drink before a game of concert seeing that it’s so close to the stadium and the Honda center.

I travel frequently and have stopped here on my way on the train a couple of times, and the service is so bad. The same bartender girl just completely ignores you and takes forever to acknowledge your presence, seems annoyed to take your order. This restaurant being in such the middle of nowhere, unless there are any sports games such be way more nice to their customers I would think to make money.

I really like JT Schmid’s as far as sports bars go. It’s large, has a large outside seating area, lots of TVs, and is conveniently located across from The Pond and Angel Stadium(which depending on who is playing might be a great crowd or an obnoxious one — but great people watching all the same). I’ve always had great service here too. They don’t always serve brunch, but they did for Mother’s Day and I have to say — the Monte Cristo was excellent. If they have it on the menu next time you go, get it. The fries, however are tasteless — but you don’t need those anyway, right?

We dined here twice last week, 22nd and 24th May. The first time, we came by due to its proximity to our hotel and the 2nd time because we just had to come back :) The place is nice. Wasn’t crowded both times we went. They had outdoor seating, with a fire going. If it wasn’t so cold we would have dined in the patio. Inside, they’ve got a big bar, lots of tv’s and booths for diners. First time, ordered chili for the hubby, clam chowder for me and burger and fries for our little one. Hubby said his chili was delicious. My clam chowder was crazy good with lots of clams and not the canned kind, not too potatoey and perfect consistency. I’m so glad I ordered a bowl. The kiddo ate her burger but surprisingly refused to eat her fries. Couldn’t blame her. It tasted fishy. For our last night in Anaheim we decided to go back again. This time we had fried calami for appetizer, cobb salad for the hubby, jambalaya for me, a side of Mac n cheese and fish n chips for the little one. For $ 13, The calamari’ serving was huge. It was hot and crunchy and perfectly cooked. The Cobb salad was supposedly very good too. Can’t complain about my jambalaya either. They didn’t skimp on the large shrimps, chicken and andouille sausage. It was spicy but not too much and the serving was huge. My little one loved her Mac n cheese which and didn’t have room for her fish and chips. We took the leftovers home. I have to say the jambalaya was even better the next day. Our server both times was Miranda. She surprisingly remembered us from two night before and she was just awesome. Service deserves a 5*, Food is 4.5*. I’m rounding up my review to 5star. Did I mention their servings are huge?

Well for a place that brews their own beer this was really a disappointment we haven’t been here in quite a few years but it’s certainly taken a turn for the worse this place is in a prime location directly across the street from the pond the bartender was unenthusiastic in her service putting it mildly she seem to be more concerned about chit-chatting with her coworkers than her guests the food was mediocre at best but the biggest problem is there was a huge swarm of fruit flies at the bar we kept having to shoo them away from our food and drinks so for us this is a no-go

I recently hosted a company event at this location for 35 guests. The facility was clean and accommodating. The staff was friendly and provided everyone with great service. The price was pretty fair for this too. I believe it was about $ 800 which included pizza, drinks, and a projector screen(projector not included). Plus the parking was free.

We came in on the day there was a big game so naturally, we couldn’t find seating. We walked around the restaurants and ended up pulling their rattan chairs from their lobby and shared a table with some customers just as the clock turned 5pm. So, we missed the happy hour by one second! Never mind that it took us 20 minutes to create our own seating. So, we ordered the full rack baby back ribs to share… it was edible but it was not tasty. We didn’t try anything else. Service was good/average.

Ew. Chose to come here after a game at the Honda Center. It seemed welcoming as we crossed the street. Beware! I’m culinary impaired and I think I can make better food. I just ate the soggiest sweet potato fries I’ve ever had in my life. The California Club tastes like it came out of a package I could’ve bought from Albertsons for $ 4.99 instead of the ridiculous $ 15 I’m about to pay. The place is so large for such a small and sad menu and leaves one to wonder, «is their beer good? It must be the beer.»

Their food & drinks weren’t bad at all! I was a bit skeptical at first seeing the reviews before being forced to come here to watch a game at the Honda Center. Nonetheless, I had a pretty good experience! The Big West Conference was going on so there were a TON of ppl at TJ Schmid’s trying to get seated. The line moved fast, we gave our info & they text us within the 15 mins they estimated. We ordered drinks at the outside bar in the meantime. Inside is spacious with a cool view of all the artistically labeled brewing vats. Our server, Devin, was extremely nice & attentive. We ordered beers/cocktails, hummus, Brussels sprouts, wings, and Mahi tacos, all of which were great! I gotta say I have no complaints here! I hope u have as good of an experience as I had!

This was my first time at JT Scmid’s, and I must say it didn’t leave the best taste in my mouth. The extra star I am leaving is for the venue, which seems like a pretty cool place to come hang and have a few drinks, inside or out at the patio. But as far as food and service goes, me thinks not. I went in with a group of 8, and the hostess informed us it would be about 20 minutes so we decide to wait at the bar. The drink selection is pretty good, and I love the flight of beers so that I can sample a few different ones(pretty standard at a brewery). Too bad the bar tender was pretty inattentive and it took awhile to put a drink order in, but understandable because though the bar was not super crowded, the venue was. Maybe a good idea to put another bartender on staff. Over half an hour later, the hostess comes and tells us we are not going to be able to be seated. Well great, half an hour wasted. No attempt to make the situation better. Whatever. She tells us to order at the bar. I order the mahi mahi tacos, which have a star next to them, meaning it’s a specialty of the house. Some of the worst fish tacos I’ve had. Super dry, bad seasoning, salsa was no bueno. I also tried the burger, under seasoned, just not very good. Both specialties of the house.

We stopped by this place because they had an alumni event for the Michigan State University football game. Word on the street was the coach for the basketball team, as well as the basketball team for MSU(who would be competing at the Wooden Legacy the next day at Honda Center) would stop by. Yep they stopped by. Parking was a breeze. this place has a shared lot but it is huge! We went on a Saturday and the parking gates weren’t in use so parking was free. Service was quick and helpful. The food was okay. We had the burger and chili cheese tater tots. The beers however, were disappointing. We started with a pilsner that tasted like a bitter ale. So we ended up drinking Coors. I think I would only come here again for an event.

Service was great. Atmosphere was awesome. Indoors was nice but the large outdoor patio with TVs, outdoor bar, & fire bar made the place stand out. Food not so good. Had halibut fish & chips. Fries were dry, fish was so dry if i closed my eyes i would have bet everything i had that it was chicken. I then tried my husbands blackened chicken sandwich and, not as bad as my fish, it was also not so good. Despite being covered in blackened seasoning it was somehow devoid of flavor. Only come here for watching a game during the day, or drinks with friends at night.

Five stars for the food and drinks! We had the Twenty Dollar Burger and Beer Battered Fish & Chips… all of which was mind blowingly delicious! –The Twenty Dollar Burger isn’t pretty. it looks like a heart attack in a bun, but hey, it would make a worthy last meal. –The Beer Battered Fish & Chips were perfection! The fish was juicy and flaky inside that crunchy golden crust with the great housemade sauce to boot. –Don’t leave without trying a Beer Tail! I was hesitant about ordering the Stawbeeri Blonde because it came off as a girl drink, but man! That drink packs a delicious punch! Three stars for the customer service and parking… unless I missed something, there’s limited parking for this fairly spacious restaurant. Like maybe 20 spots for a place that could entertain at least 200 people. Our waitress had a poor attitude. but I will give her credit for the spot on Beer Tail recommendation and benefit of the doubt as it was less than two hours to closing. We didn’t wait too long for our food, it was delivered hot & fresh, and the waitress wasn’t difficult to flag down. so overall customer service wouldn’t deter me just yet.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for some time, but I wasn’t overly impressed. The restaurant itself is awesome and huge! And the outside seating area is my fav! I went on a Thursday night around 7:30 pm and it was perfect weather to sit outside! It seems so tropical with all the palm trees and what not. The bar outside is really cool too but on this night there was no bartender attending the bar. There was also a band playing that seemed to be just an independent, random band. But they were enjoyable! For starters, my friend and I got the Lots of Taters($ 6.50). This was probably my fav thing we got that night and it wasn’t even super good. The sauces it came with was super yumms though! I got the spicy chicken wings($ 9.95) and a side of the jalapeño Mac and cheese($ 4.95). I was disappointed by both dishes! The chicken wings were not spicy! They were sweet and on the burnt side. The Mac and cheese should have had plenty of jalapeños, but negative!!! They had like two or three huge pieces. And it wasn’t spicy! I was planning on getting the jalapeño Mac and cheese as my entrée but so glad I didn’t because I woulda been pissed! And I love Mac and cheese to a passion! This dish was not okay though. My friend got the beer battered fish and chips($ 15.95). She wasn’t super impressed by her meal either. I tried it and didn’t like it either. The fish smelled, not a good sign of fresh food! For drinks, we started out with one beers a piece. I got the Imperial Stout and my friend got the hefeweizen. The beers were good thankfully! We then shared the beer flight($ 11.95) and we enjoyed most of the beers. Thankfully we were happy with something! The parking lot is small and half of the parking is owned by the other stores in the small complex. Dunno how they do it on a busy night. We parked in a parking owned by another store but thankfully it was after hours so not a biggie. The staff was alright, our waiter was nice but not really attentive. So overall, I wouldn’t be back. Maybe if I was attending an event at the Honda center since its right across the street. But I would have to be desperate!

Food: I came here to eat dinner with my friends who were in town for the Tinker Bell Half Marathon at Disneyland. They wanted me to try a beer with my name on it, Emil’s Amber Ale. To go with the beer, I ordered their Cobb Salad. It was a pretty big salad, big enough that it felt like a never-ending salad! The salad was good as was the beer. I think I will have to try a sampler of their beers next time. Service: Service was pretty good. The place had just cleared out because there was an Angels game next door that evening. Less people usually means better service! We pretty much had two waitresses checking up on us. Location: It’s located just off of the 57 freeway on Katella Ave in between the Honda Center and the Angel Stadium. I believe you can park in the Anaheim ARTIC Metrolink Station parking lot. If there’s an Angels game next door, this place will probably be packed just before the game starts.

Charges $ 30 for handicapped parking. I think this is illegal. This really upset me. I do not have to pay a parking meter with my license plates and they charged me $ 30 to park in the handicapped spot here. NOTGOOD. There are several businesses around the restaurant with handicapped access parking and was told if I parked there for a game, even with my handicapped plates I would be towed. Seriously not ADA friendly businesses around the Honda Center. BOOOOOOO !!! They told us they opened at 9 am for the Blackhaws vs. Ducks game. We got there about 930 and the place was a ghost town. Then there was another issue when they opened, they could not serve you food or liquor until a certain time. WTF? Why even bother to open? Ya this time not so happy with JT Schmid’s and probably will opt for either a party bus nexttime the hawks play the ducks and skip this place.
