Love this place! The guys working here are great and helpful. They remember what I’ve bought before, help me find what I need and are just nice and pleasant. They are always concerned that they have what I need. My favorite local quick shopping spot.

Run by guys from the Middle East. Count your change. Got short changed once and the cashier just stood there and stared at me. Convenient and within walking distance, but only for a few things. Yes, I understand the higher prices since they can’t buy in quantity like huge grocery chains, but please don’t cheat me. Good for lottery tickets.

Convenient, expensive, extra charge for using debit/credit card. 2 stars for accessibility.

I may be biased, based on living within walking distance and frequenting this place several times whenever I needed something randomly, but I love the place. Ever since new management took it over a few years back, the place has been great. About year ago(or maybe a little longer) they began selling hard liquor, so the earlier review is no longer accurate. They even have a pretty great beer selection including higher end labels like Chimay, Allagash, etc. Yes, the prices are marked up, but that’s what convenient stores do. You pay extra for the convenience of not having to go all the way to a grocery store. This is nothing shocking or out of the ordinary. I do recommend bringing cash as there’s a slight added fee for using a card. The guys that work behind the counter are younger than your average convenient store workers. They are pretty laid back. Some aren’t as social as others, but it’s nothing personal. They are just there to ring you up in an efficient manner. I’ve never had a problem with any of them and often it’s a very friendly, welcoming feel. Again, this may be because they see me fairly regularly. If you are in the circle area, this is the better of the options in my opinion.

Convenient. Has what you need(most likely) — what could be better? I’ve been coming here on and off for just under a decade for random things when I’m in the area: beer, snacks, bottle of wine, deodorant, candy. Yeah — I’ve purchased all of those items at this shop at one time or another. Pleased by the prices; I’m sure they could charge a whole lot more given the fact that they’re one of the only shops in a few blocks’ radius.

I love this place because it is a small deli which is owned by a family that loves what it does and doesn’t sacrifice its integrity for anything. Service is so great and so genuine. The main thing I come here for is their 5 dollar 2 pound breakfast burritos. They fry the eggs, which mean they are fresh and sometimes dripping yolk. Also, they use the best quality sausage, bacon and deli ham in their burritos, added with large amounts of cheese and southwestern style hashbrowns. This breakfast burrito is so big and delicious that even though I know I cannot finish it, I buy one for myself anyways. They can make the burrito spicier if you ask, adding fresh cut jalapenos even when the line is out the door. They treat you with respect and always a yes/smile. I have met the whole family that owns the deli and the liquor store next door. They are all so sweet and truly remember faces. Last time I went, the owner gave us extra salsa and even a free cup of home made chili. He also told us that because we come so often that next time lunch would be on us. Also, I asked if he could make our french fries well done, and he did it for free to perfection. I have yet to return due to my busy schedule but I crave the burrito every other day. Beware: the burrito is HUGE. It feels like a small baby when I hold it. The only thing I wish is that they would make their salsa a little spicier, but that is my personal preference. I love this place because they have old fashioned sodas, macaroni and potato salad, and a honesty policy when it comes to drinks. They serve breakfast all day and their sandwiches are huge and delicious. I tried their fish and their chicken salad and was not dissapointed. Bring your friends here they will thank you

Very good sandwiches. Call ahead with your order because they can take some time to make, however there are plenty of things to shop for in the convenience portion of the store. Nice staff. A little over priced in my opinion.

This is the greatest convenience /liquor store in Orange. Ok, they only have beer and wine, but the selection is ginormous. Really good. Craft brews, all the normal beers, and probably about 100 wines. They also have a small selection of nice cigars. And their prices are very fair– not jacked up like most small stores. All of their prices are good, even on milk and aspirin– no more than a regular supermarket. They carry a little bit of everything, and the employees are always very polite, friendly and helpful. If you ask for something, you don’t get that, «If we carry it, it’ll be on that aisle» crap. They will tell you what brands they carry, what aisle, and what shelf you can find it on. It is always really clean inside and out. There are no shady characters hanging around. I feel totally comfortable letting the kids walk over there to get kid cocaine– sodas, candy and other junk food. Can’t do that at Rod’s. And the parking lot is big enough that it’s really easy to get in and out, and go in any direction you want. Can’t do that at Rods’, either.
