I have been coming here for 4 years and I am always stoked with the service and food. This is one of my favorite lunch spots.

This place is under new management now. I know years ago, I did agree with their lower star rating, but the new owners have really flipped it around. I get great service every time i come and the new«five star rewards» program is pretty cool! All in all, I like this place for the traditional teriyaki bowls, clean location(now), reward program for loyal customers, and great service. I don’t think you will be disappointed. :)

Just stopped by, I got the works bowl payed $ 8.10. I was expecting to wait at least 10 minutes for my food it only took 2 minutes. Food is not cooked to order, my bowl was half empty and the meat was dry /old. At least give people more rice and veggies so they don’t feel cheated when paying over $ 8.00 dollars for a half empty bowl. Will not come back to this location:/

I’ve been coming to this flame broiler for over 5 years now. The owner and staff are always pleasant and take the time to learn your name. The food is consistent and always tastes great. The service is fast and I know I’m eating healthy. Keep up the great work you guys!

Another Failure! So my wife and I walk in @ about 5:00pm on Friday, June 5th. I give the time and date so hopefully the manager can take note of who was working and deal with them appropriately. I think firing is a good place to start. So we walk in and the young man behind the counter is on his cell phone. Just chatting with a friend. A little over a minute goes by… he doesn’t even acknowledge us. Finally he hangs up his phone and turns to us. Says NOTHING. Just looks at my wife. Needless to say, we walked out. This type of lousy service is right in line with ALL the other reviews. So, we will NEVER go back to this store. Instead, we went over to the store on 17th street. Excellent service there. The Flame Broiler on Chapman in Orange is horrible. Don’t give them your business. Let them go out of business. Open up the space for a quality establishment.

The owner is really nice. he sees me walk in the door he always says hi Ryan and asks how my day is going. its a nice personal touch. the food is good and consistent. you don’t get that with most flame broilers.

I’ve been coming here for over 2 years. They always provided the best customer service. They go well beyond taking your money by asking how you are doing and engage with a positive and very friendly tone. The food is always fresh and their store is always clean. They also give a 10% discount to police and fire department. Unfortunately, I am neither but the price is right nonetheless.

My main complaints: –The meat is often overdone –My order has been somehow mixed up a couple of times –How dare you get rid of Sriracha! However, it’s nice that I get free drinks since I am an employee of UCI :)

Patrick wasn’t kidding when he said they were stingy with the portions and sauces! I took a picture if the«half filled» cups of sauce. To add to that, I got a half chicken and half broccoli bowl and ended up with about 4 small pieces if broccoli! Guys, it’s chicken, veggies and rice, not priceless gems! You are charging full price, give us what we pay for! On the plus side, the staff was very friendly.

First time trying it here and disappointed to my order. The chicken meat was not freshly cooked it was hard and taste old. they just add more sauce and heated up on grill so you won’t notice but once you eat it, it’s hard meat like you heat it in the microwave and taste old. Iv been in flame broiler some places but never experience this before. i will never come back to this place anymore!

I like this flame broiler. However it is small but has great service. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. Once you order, the folks will bring your food to your table instead of forcing you to get up and wonder back over after they shout out your name. The taste is the same as the rest of their locations. But being waited on made it so much nicer. It was also kewl that the guy who brought the food then went and got suaces for us as well. I really enjoyed my visit to this particular location. Awesome stuff and a cut above the average to say the least…

Not all Flame Broiler’s are created the same. First of all, some Flame Broiler’s use different chicken. The original way, which I prefer, is a whole chicken breast that is marinated and then grilled to perfection and then chopped and served up. The«newer» way is to buy crappy quality pre-diced chicken(if you can still all it chicken) and grill and serve. The«newer» way loses a ton of flavor and lacks in quality. Why this location gets only a 2 star? Well, they are one of the ones that have adopted the«newer» way — which I’m sure is cheaper for them. AND they are super stingy like Kulit S. says. Portions are unusually small, even for a Flame Broiler.
