I’ve had my fair share of facials, microderms and skin treatments… expensive Montage facials and moderately priced facials and I was not impressed at all with the HydraFacial. It is extremely over hyped. What was even more unsatisfying was Joan’s lack of professionalism. During the facial (if that’s what you want to call it) I was left in the room for 10min during the procedure while she stepped outside to answer her phone and speak to another client. It wasn’t like I had a mask on or anything that needed time to set. The HydraFacial took about 15min, then she rubbed lotion on my shoulders for what I guess you would call a massage for about 10min and then the 10min conversation (big waste of time). I wouldn’t go back even if the facial was free.

I’ve been getting the HydraFacial for the last few months and I’ve had phenomenal results. Joan has been doing skin care for over 20 years and she really knows this industry! Her pricing is also competitive for the HydraFacial. Furthermore, she donates 10% of her revenue to an animal shelter!

I met Joan thru a friend of mine who has known her for years! My friend was constantly telling me about Joan and this new facial she does. I finally gave in and went to Joan and had the HydraFacial. How amazing that was, I surf so my skin has been exposed to a lot of the elements having this facial has helped with hydration so much. I like the facial so much that I travel all the way from the Inland Empire just for Joan.

I have known Joan kelley, Owner of The Retreat Day Spa for over 6 years now. She has over 20 years experience and offers private skincare throughout Orange County. She offers the HydraFacial and the results I have seen our remarkable! The skin is renewed instantly, wrinkles diminished and you look absolutely radiant. Not too many Aestheticians offer the service, so making the trip is worthwhile. She recently moved her business from Newport Beach and now resides in Orange.
