Best Italian restaurant in town. 3 stores Santa Margarita, this location and Santa Ana on 17th& Tustin . Everything is good, been at this location for 8 yrs. Employees are happy and so are the food. Free bread, my favorite Chicken Masala, Eggplant parmigiana? Order comes with Caesars salad.

Went through the drive through 5÷31÷16. The food was not good. The meat sauce on the spaghetti was hardly sauce. The chicken piccata was swimming in sauce. The salad(I only received 1 even though both meals I ordered included salads) was a pathetic mix of wilted lettuce with some canned Parmesan thrown on it. I’ll never be back.

I’ve been to Tutto Fresco many, many times and have yet to be disappointed. The food has always been good(great too!) and I’ve had items off every menu section they have. Funny thing, for a couple of years I only used their drive-thru and avoided the interior restaurant thinking it was just far too casual for me. However, a friend of mine and I decided to try the interior restaurant one evening. After you get past the«order counter» and find a seat is when you discover the warmly lit environment… what a nice surprise! The service is good and friendly and the wait staff has always been quick to please. I’ve never had a complaint about the food and there has always been enough for me to take enough for another meal home with me. I’m very, very picky on Italian food so if I keep going here, it’s all good!!!

This is from Sunday afternoon for lunch: Food: 5 stars. The food was full of flavor and al dente noodles. had the chicken chipotle pasta and tried my friends Fresca and chicken wrap. The bread that comes with your meal was very soft and even the olive oil was legit. Service: 5 stars. Although they were pretty busy the waiter was very fast and very attentetive. Environment: 5 stars. We sat outdoor in the patio. Maybe the weather helped but the patio was big and spacious. Tips: you order first and then find your seat.

This place is amazing. They are order at the counter drive thru style which is what makes it so great. Best prices for the move delicious food. I would come here over any Italian place around! It’s so affordable and casual.

2 cashiers and 1 cook gossiping, on their phone, eating, doesn’t wash her hands and gives me my food right after. A cook with a red hat dogged me passing by after giving the cashier half a sandwich. All in front of the drive through window in plain sight.

I needed an Italian food fix. Weekend night. Didn’t feel like cooking, much less leaving the house. Found out this place has a drive thru(WHAAAAAAT!!! WINNING!!!). So I hopped in the car and was on my way. Ordered the Spaghetti and meatballs. I asked for extra sauce because I saw some reviews had mentioned the meatballs were dry. I didn’t want to have a bad experience. The drive thru wait isn’t short but it isn’t long either. There was a sign somewhere that said they make your orders fresh. I don’t have a problem with that. I got home and unloaded my spoils. The meatballs were(kinda) huge. The meal also comes with a side Caesar salad(it was okay, but was not bad). And then there is the bread. I usually get excited for any type of bread, even if it jus is okay bread. This was just«okay» bread but nonetheless, I got more than I expected. I ate the salad and half one meatball and half the spaghetti. Found out there is a little cheese in the middle of the meatball(a nice unexpected treat). Had enough the next day for lunch. I ended up dipping the bread in the extra sauce. I didn’t really need it but I still poured about ¼ of it on my spaghetti, only because I like my noodles saucy . I will return to this place because of the drive thru and the food really is not that bad.

Fast food Italian joint doing big things! This is a «fast food/restaurant» hybrid. You order at the counter, but if you eat inside of the location– they bring you soft, yummy bread with oil + vinegar and bring your order to you. The employees check on your table and ask if you need your drink refilled. The prices are super reasonable and the food is delicious. I’m a huge fan of pink sauce(white + red — now you know) and they will use pink sauce in any dish you want. I’ve had the classic spaghetti and meatballs and on another occasion — the baked ziti. The meatballs are hearty but also not overly dense. I love the mushrooms and eggplant in the baked ziti. Service, food and value makes this place stellar!

I come here often because my family loves it. Tonight, Taylor went over the top by bringing me tomato bisque soup because I asked about it. I was floored by her smile and service. Thank you management team for having Taylor on your team. Awesome experience as usual.

Yummy quick Italian food. I shared a chicken panini was delicious. Also had a cesar salad and camera pasta. The pasta was great and i loved the sandwich. I would come again. I want to try the Chipotle chicken pasta. Also ordered the cake bites but was too full to enjoy so shared with co workers

I was craving spaghetti & meatballs and picked this place for lunch. Place your order at the counter, take the pager with you and find a seat. Spaghetti & meatballs($ 8.99): spaghetti, meatballs, tomato basil sauce. My perfectly cooked spaghetti was served with dry meatballs and not enough sauce. I had to ask for extra sauce :( Lasagna($ 9.99): ground beef, mild Italian sausage, ricotta, mozzarella, parmigiana-reggiano, tomato basil sauce. Wow! Not a good wow! It was more like«saltier than Spam» wow. My friend couldn’t even eat his lasagna. We told the manager about the saltiness and she basically said it’s supposed to taste like that. I guess the dish was just too salty for both of us. Meatballs($ 4.99): two mozzarella stuffed meatballs, with tomato basil sauce. We ordered the meatballs because of the mozzarella filling. Ummmm where is the mozzarella? We could barely see and taste the mozzarella. The manager said that it’s supposed to be like that… just like my meatballs from my spaghetti and meatballs dish. I cut my meatballs and saw no mozzarella at all :( The best part of the meal was the complimentary bread with oil and vinegar. The bread was actually good and soft! Friendly and fast workers. QUICKTIP: THEYHAVE A DRIVE-THRU. 2 stars! We were very disappointed with our lunch. Tutto Fresco is not yummylicious!

I came here due to its high Unilocal ranking for the area I was searching but had not read other reviews first. I ordered a 10″ pepperoni pizza. Counter person was very polite. Surprise 1: Price: Only $ 8.49! Surprise 2: Unusually clean table and comfortable booth. Bench seats literally shine. Surprise 3: Went to mens room to wash my hands. I return to find a basket of fresh bread, and nice big clean bottles of balsamic vinegar and olive oil! Pizza was very okay. My personal favorite pizza is still Giovanni’s Pizza of Fullerton. Asked for a box for my pizza and leftover bread. Boom ! here you go sir. Surprise 4: Tray of chocolate mints at the end of the meal! These guys understand service and value. Five stars.

Pesto chicken sandwich w/garlic tossed chips was amazing as was the ambiance and décor. Cozy and friendly. The deal is: You order in the front and they bring it to your table. We sampled: Pesto chicken sandwich w/garlic tossed chips(5 stars) Meatball sandwich w/Caesar salad(standard maybe slightly less mushy bread) Kids cheese pizza(better than normal 4*) There is also a charming outdoor patio section that looked Devine!

Food is 4 stars… Service 2. Ordered Togo in the drive through last Friday evening and the service was not good at the window. Ran out of bread 20 til closing and told us we’re closing anyways so we’re not making any more bread. The food was delicious though. Ordered the camera and the chipotle pasta and they were both great choices. Will debate on returning. May just go to the Santa Ana location.

I’ve driven past tutto fresco in the past and wondered about the drive through. Sadly, I didn’t get to try it last week but I did dine in with my friends. My friends told me not to order any appetizers – the complimentary bread with oil and balsamic would be sufficient. For my main dish, I settled on spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were almost as big as my boobs and stuffed with cheese. They have a giant plate of grated Parmesan cheese so you can suffocate your spaghetti in cheesy goodness. Also, between three people, we destroyed two bread baskets. The spumoni was«meh.» It didn’t come in layers, it was all mixed up and wasn’t as good as other Italian places. However, entrees and bread are definitely worth coming back for. Great value and friendly service.

I have meaning to come here because I think a drive-thru Italian is revolutionary. Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar: Although there were herbs in the olive oil, it was very watery and lacking flavor. That was very disappointing. The bread was also pretty bland but I guess that’s what the oil and vinegar is there for. Chicken Chipotle Pasta: It was bland as well. There wasn’t that much flavor into the sauce but maybe that’s just me. It had potential. Pesto Chicken Panini: If I haven’t order this then this whole visit would have been a fail. This panini was delicious and cheesy. Everything also this dish was good. Would I come back here again? Maybe. If I was craving fast Italian.

Tutto Fresco was absolutely welcoming, affordable, enjoyable, and most importantly, delicious. After seeing all the high marks on Unilocal,my fiancée and I decided to try this Italian food joint. The cashiers were all very friendly and helpful. I actually felt bad for the young fellow who was getting hit by a cougar who kept trying to get to know his personal life better… but that’s besides the point. We ordered chicken parmigiana which comes with a plate of spaghetti. And it was delicious! Oh man oh man. And good thing we only got one entrée. We were mildly surprised that the entrée comes with bread and salad since everyone else keep commenting that this place is like a fast-food joint. In fact, the service was exceptional. The waiters kept coming over to refill our bread, water, and see whatever else we need. Needless to say, with all these add-ons, we ended up packing home almost half of the entrée. That’s like 3 meals worth of food from one entrée. I didn’t realize there was a drive through even though all the other reviewers mentioned it. There were definitely a good numbers of customers for dinner on a weekday. This place reminds me a lot of Old Spaghetti Factory and that’s a good thing in my book. I highly recommend it! Tutto Fresco is an excellent Italian restaurant that deserves every star for its excellent service and superb food quality.

+ Great food + Fast ordering process + Friendly/efficient staff + Good prices + Outside seating + Available drive-thru ordering It is rare when I give a restaurant 5 stars. Tutto Fresco isn’t an extraordinarily impressive place, but I’ve been very pleased every time I go. The wait isn’t too long(if at all), there is outside seating, and the ordering process is quick and efficient. You order at the front, sit down, and wait for your meal. However, if you have a large party, you can order the traditional way where the wait staff will come and take your order. The pricing is very reasonable and the portions are large. There really is no negative that I could see. If I were to really nitpick, you could say the inside could use a little modernizing. It looks a bit dated.

I would of never thought that fast food Italian could be so good! I love how when you come here it’s casual but nice, walk up counter for orders but served at your table, and fast food but savory and homey! The menu has many options from salads, soups, wraps, paninis, pastas, pizzas and desserts! The best part is that with every meal you get soft bread pieces that are seasoned in an herb and served with a side of oil and vinegar. Living so close we eat this place often but my favorites are the turkey panini, parmesean chips, roasted potatoes, chicken tortilla soup, antipasto salad and of course the bread! I’ve had the pastas before and they are good but too over sauced for my liking. They have a kids menu which has great options for the children. The place has a drive thru too but be ready to wait a bit because it doesn’t move too quick. Service is always great and everyone always seems to be on the move to keep things flowing!
