Fox Run At Orchard Park

My mother moved here 6 ½ years ago and has been delighted from Day 1. Like most 93 year olds she can find things to complain about, but it’s mostly other residents, veggies undercooked for her liking (great for mine), and any kind of change. Nicely appointed apartments and patio homes; good restaurant style dining plus a Bistro and a bar (3 evenings a week). Many, many activities and facilities (library, auditorium, gift shop, wood shop, garden plots, game room and a bocce league). Also has progressive care units to meet the various needs of declining health. A very stable and happy workforce as well as a well developed community for residents. Expensive? Maybe, but well worth it for happiness and peace of mind. Beware the many electric scooters. Not everyone is a good driver.

I don’t think you will find a nicer CCRC in the WNY area. My grandfather has looked at the facility a number of times because of the memory loss care facility. We have held off on moving him to the facility, but it would be our first choice.
