Dog’s are awesome, fries are 6 stars, atmosphere is yummy, and the shakes are perfect. !!!

This is our go to family place after church. or any other time. Have never had a bad meal there. The kids love the variety of milkshakes. Plus they have a killer fried bologna with onions, cheese and mayo. Cash only though !!

This place is only getting a two star because of their milk shake. If it wasn’t for that, they would be getting a one star. First off, yes its a very popular place, but a popular place does not make it a good place. I ordered a milk shake, pop, some fries, and a hot dog. it came out to $ 15. How can you have a straight face and charge $ 15 for that? It looks like it came out from a high school cafeteria. I went to Taffy’s once, and it will be my last time. I’ll probably be back for a shake if I’m hanging out with friends during cruise night, but thats it. Actually when I think about it, probably not. Don’t even get me started on cash only. This is 2015, who carries cash now a days. I guess its easier to cook your books and not pay the IRS when you don’t claim all the cash made.

This joint is so good. I went based on my good friends(R.H.) recommendation. The burgers are small enough that you’re going to think you’re at a real 50s drive in. You won’t be so full that you won’t want dessert. It’s clean and the register guy was super chill.

Taffy’s is the place to go when you know you want something sweet, but can’t put your finger on it. The giant menu of 100s of milkshakes gives you a wide variety, from peanut butter and jelly to cotton candy(my personal favorite). They are HUGE, and hard to finish. I have also had the peanut butter cup and Snickers milkshakes, both unexplainably good. I guess now they have food, which I should try because I have yet to. I hear good things! The outdoor patio area is cutesy. a little awkward to be sitting on a wooden swing on the corner of a busy street, but still fits the theme I suppose.

Great milkshakes! Always very busy but it’s a fun place to stop during the summer.

I checked in the other night when me and my Girlfriend went before a movie. I said that I hoped the food was better than the service. It was not. So here’s a quick run down. The service was terrible. The clerk ignored us and instead talked to her friend. For like three minutes. Then, she was curt with us while she took our order, and she was unhelpful. On top of that, the employees were all rather unprofessional. Like, I’m cool with people being chill and casual at work, but like maybe don’t drop a tonne of four letter words, and maybe don’t talk about the physical endowments of the women around the place. Also, when we went to pay, the guy at the counter literally went ‘whoah, I didn’t even know you guys were here. I would have just walked out without paying if I were you.’ Classy. I mean, the food wasn’t worth the $ 30 we paid, but I doubt you would have wanted to explain that to your manager. Okay, so, the food. We ordered two burgers, a large curly fry and two shakes. $ 30. That’s a touch higher than we were led to believe. Anywho, the burgers were bland. And clearly store bought. The fries were under cooked, soggy, and mostly stuck together. But the biggest reason, aside from the lousy service and crude atmosphere, that this place gets one star is because of the shake. I got a chocolate, coconut and almond shake(I forget their cute name for it). It was alright. Like, I could have made it at home alright. Except I would have made it correctly. See, these guys used peanuts instead of almonds. Which was a really rude surprize. Like, not that I dislike peanuts, but that’s not what you advertised and that’s not what I ordered. If you were out of almonds, just say so. Don’t pass off another nut and figure I won’t notice. It was gross. Ruinous, really. The place has a bunch of little signs around, stating it’s been around for 65 years. I suppose nostalgia is enough to keep any place in business for a while past its prime. Maybe this place was awesome at one point, I don’t know. All I do know is I won’t be finding out what kind of future it has…

Taffy’s has been around forever! I always try to make at least one visit each summer. In my opinion, Taffy’s is best for Milkshakes and the atmosphere! Throughout the years, the Taffy’s menu has expanded. It’s mainly fast food. Hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, curly fries, etc. I’ve tried all of that and I don’t think it’s anything great. In fact, I wouldn’t come here for anything but milkshakes. I think you can definitely find better fast food places, in the area. The milkshakes are delicious! There are over 100 choices. After sampling many, my go to favorite is Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup. Taffy’s has a wonderful and fun outdoor atmosphere. The outdoor seating is gliding wooden tables. It’s incredibly enjoyable on a hot summer day. Definitely check this place out at least once! ***TIPS*** CASHONLY!!! Taffy’s also just recently started a milkshake food truck! You don’t get the thrill of the wooden gliders but are able to enjoy the best part about Taffy’s, their milkshakes!

My pops brought me here for something quick to eat right after arriving in Buffalo, it was a really nice evening and I liked the outdoor seating. The food was really good, I really liked by burger and the Costanzo by it was on. My dad got the polish sausage and fried mushrooms, he really enjoyed the sausage and the mushrooms were next to perfect. My only complaint is that I didn’t save room for a shake. I’ll be back.

I rate Taffy’s an A, for awful. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because you can’t screw up a hot dog. The fries tasted freezer burned and processed, and the onion rings were thin and tasteless. My advice. Head somewhere else!

Taffy’s has everything going for it – cool location(perched right on a busy street corner), fun outdoor seating(rocking tables!!!), a giant list of different milkshake flavors… this place should be speaking for itself by now. Taffy’s has got everything you’d expect from a hot dog stand: good hot dogs, FOOTLONGS, burgers, sweet potato fries, onion rings. Curly fries too! Their milkshakes are superb as well, and it’s hard NOT to get one with your meal. I love this place because it’s a little different than other restaurants & hot dog places around Western New York, and it’s been around for as long as I can remember! It’s a great way to enjoy what warm summer days we have around here.

Maybe I’m being a super biased pregnant woman right now who CANNOTSTOP when it comes to milkshakes… but this place is delicious! My only wish is that they had the milkshake menu online, so that when my sister-in-law goes to surprise me by picking something up on a whim, I can tell her what flavor I’d like(somehow, cookie dough was not one of the 100+ options???). Still, loved the vanilla malts I was downing 3x a week on vacation.

Taffy’s is the perfect place to chill and relax on a warm summer evening of afternoon. They have many wooden outdoor gliders, and you order outside. They do however have a tiny seating area inside so it’s not all outdoors. Taffy’s is more of a fast food place, with burgers, hot dogs, subs, etc. I have been thee quite a few times and I love their hot dogs. This time I tried the chicken finger sub which was messy but tasty. They have curly fries. They were okay. They tasted kind of soggy. But of corse don’t forget to try one of their delicious shakes! I just tried the blue Hawaii and that was beyond amazing. If your in the area give Taffy’s a try! Why not?

Amazing food. Have the biggest milkshake menu I have ever seen! I had a hot dog, fries, and a chocolate peanut butter milkshake, which was excellent! The place where you sit was amazing, because you could move the table back and forth, move the whole booth back and forth. I highly recommend this restaurant!!!

I love Taffy’s and quite often find myself craving a peanut butter milkshake. This is the spot to hit up in the summer — with the fun lawn furniture out front, it’s a great spot to grab a delectable milkshake and some fried food. As much as I enjoy the pizza logs, I normally just order a milkshake there. Their variety for milkshake flavors is a bit overwhelming(110 flavors!), but I get the same one every time and it is delicious(Chocolate Reese’s Peanut Butter). The service is quick and friendly. The prices are a bit high, but the quality is definitely there. Make sure you hit up an ATM before, as they only accept cash.

My favorite hot dog stand!!! Over a hundred shakes to choose from and soon, the shake truck will making it’s debut. Chicken fingers with curlys and taffy sauce is my go to.

Ugh, sad. I used to like coming here for lunch, especially since I live close-by. But today was the last time I will ever eat there. I ordered and paid for a footlong, which you think a place that specializes in hot dogs couldn’t screw up, but no, it was inedible. I choked down two bites of the pencil-thin, undercooked dog that was served on a gigantic, crumbling, stale, sour-tasting bun, and threw the rest away in complete disgust. Not sure why Taffy’s would let the quality slip that far when Ted’s is right down the street.

This is a review pretty much just of their milkshakes. They have what seems like a million flavors/flavor combinations for milkshakes or ice cream — all of which sound delicious. We had the Grasshopper(mint chocolate chip) which was one of the best milkshakes I’ve had in a while. From what I’ve been told, Taffy’s has been around in Orchard Park for a very long time. Even before all of the supermarkets and complexes were around, there was just Taffy’s and a field. Just note, they only take cash, so have some on hand or you’ll have to go into the Tops nearby to go to an ATM.

Hot dog, jumping frog, Albuquerque. Yayayayayayayayayayayayaya. Toure? There is nothing«laffy» about this«Taffys», in fact the employees here are stoney-faced and serious. You would think that they were earning minimum wage or something.(Crowd remains silent). I couldn’t remember the name of this place, but I did remember that the only time I went here and tried a hot dog, it was not particularly good. It wasn’t awful either, but compared to some of the great ones in the area, it scores 0. I also had a milkshake here and(I’m sorry) it was not good. I think I got banana, and it’s one of those syrupy bright chemically yellow banana shakes instead of a fresh vanilla-with-banana-chunks style that I love. And I think I had a pulled pork sandwich from here though I could be very wrong. I can’t even remember if I’m reviewing the right place, or if the place I am reviewing is even still open, which, in the end, really reflects badly on me and makes me look like a terrible, terrible person. I am going to go and give myself 40 lashings now. Or at least rashers of bacon, which is the next best thing, and just as bad(if not moreso) in the Islamic religion. Which is not my religion. But that’s beside the point.

I’ve been to this place at least a dozen or more times. Its only a 20 minute walk from my House, you just gotta cross the 5 Corners. so Many things to Get, from a Turkey Burger to Footlong Hot Dogs to Clam Rolls to hand cut French Fries to even my favorite: Italian Sausage Roll wih Chili, Cheese and Hickory Smoked Bacon. But what I like most about Taffy’s is the variety of milkshakes they have(130 different flavors) 3 of my Favorites are: 1. Blueberry, 2. Root Beer and 3. PB&J, A nice place to sit and enjoy with family and friends on those glider seats. Small Kitchen but they know how to serve big crowds. I always enjoy coming to Taffy’s !!!
