High-priced hot dog! Food was poor! My first and last time there!

Stopped in today for the $ 5 special, hot dog or burger, fries & drink. The place is big, and every word echos so if there’s a family with little kids, you know it, but then again, this isn’t a five star restaurant. Unlike Ted’s, they bring your meal to your table, which took 8 minutes from time of ordering. I ordered the dog well done and It came out cooked regular, but still good. The fries were great, thick, crinkle cut(reduced portion) and not over salted or seasoned along with a normal size self serve beverage. The place was clean and there is also outdoor seating. They also accept competitors coupons even if expired, pretty smart actually, let someone else pay for the advertising then take their coupons. I give 3 stars because its just another hot dog place trying to get a piece of the action in WNY and on par with all the others.

Another typical hot dog /hamburger joint with the local WNY spin. I went with two regular hot dogs and a small loganberry soda. They do accept all other buy 1, get 1 competitors coupons. The hot dogs are good, but don’t standout in comparison to another hot dog you can get. The small soda was the smallest cup I have ever seen a restaurant use in my life! This had to be 6oz TOPS! Overall this place is ok quality wise, but a bit on the pricey side. Long term I do not see them taking away much if any business from Teds, Louie’s, or anybody else in the hot dog/hamburg game.

I agree with the other reviewers good food, a little pricey. Great dogs, great rings, great fries(I love plain fries with only salt, hate those battered and seasoned fries). I also love my food hot(temp) and reds cooks to order so it is always hot. Would have been 4 stars except for the prices.

This restaurant recently opened near our house and we have been meaning to check it out, so Today, we headed there for lunch. As we looked over the menu, we were surprised mostly at the prices. The prices were quite high for a Ted’s clone hot dog joint. Between the two of us, we ordered a Foot Long, a Regular Hot Dog, two orders of fries and no drinks. Total was about $ 15. Two drinks would have put us about or over $ 20 total. The wife hated the pickle for some reason, but otherwise the hotdogs seemed fine. The fries were generic crinkle-cut frozen fries. LAME. The malt vinegar was also weak, it almost tasted watered down. I guess I’m just not sure how places like this expect to succeed with competitors like Five Guys coming into town. Fresh cut double fried fries are like crack and don’t take much effort. Sorry Redlinski’s, you need to do better to encourage someone like me to come back, and I live less than a mile away and work out in the same plaza. My preference in the area for fast food? Moe’s. I don’t normally frequent chains, or fast food to begin with, but it’s a great bang for the buck, they serve hormone free meat, and I walk away stuffed for $ 8 every time.
