Nagy Wines

The wines were pretty good… normal flavors for the area. But the pourer was unfamiliar if the wines were sourced or not. As well as the main reason for 1 star is because the pours were so small we barely got a taste. I’m talking not even a sip for each taste. All five tastes did not even equal one taste you would normally see at any other tasting room. Highly recommend going elsewhere.

I will confess: I was 100% biased in favor of this place before I even walked in the door because I know people here. I came down to visit an old coworker, talk shop (and talk shit), and taste some new wine.
But. This tasting room a) is adorable and b) is full of really tasty wine. It’s a really comfortable space with great mellow vibes. The wine is awesome, particularly the Pinot (I mean, where in the Santa Maria Valley is there NOT good Pinot?). Super small productions, very high quality.
Also: you can order cheese or charcuterie boards from the Italian restaurant nearby, and they will come and deliver it to you. DELICIOUS. Perfect compliment to some delicious wine.

Clarissa makes amazing wine. I love Viognier and this was the best I’ve ever tasted! Highly recommend!

So impressed. Hubby and I favor reds so when we left with a white wine in tow, you know this place is good! We stopped in for a tasting and tried 2 of their reds and two whites. Each wine that we sampled was really enjoyed! My husband commented how rare it is that we’ve enjoyed the entire selection of a tasting experience at other wineries. Here everything was delicious! The girl pouring our wine was sweet and allowed us to take our time. She had really good pace and served us graciously. Clarissa the owner and wine maker is such a precious soul. She is such a delight to be around and was there during our tasting. Loved everything about this place. Such a gem in old town Orcutt. We will be going back soon :))
