As far as bars and bar food goes, this place is great. The outside looks a little dingy and the décor on the inside could be better, but based solely on food quality and customer service it was great.

I went on an evening with live music in the bar. Great drinks and happy hour menu. Fun addition to Oregon City.

What an improvement from Jin’s! Been to the Canby location multiple times and came here after they first opened with my toddler. The menu was still limited as they just opened but the service was fast and friendly. Their shrimp tacos were nothing short of amazing. Definitely my favorite dish! So glad to have a better option in OC!

Bartender was friendly. Bar was cute. Ordered a vodka soda and a grilled cheese. The drink was very week and the grilled cheese was really dry and not good. I don’t think they buttered the bread or anything. Might give it another shot but might not. It was just okay. So far I’m not a fan.

Very disappointed as I was looking forward to another option in OC. This review is for the restaurant side only and I have not been in the bar.
We walked in the restaurant door and instead of feeling some warmth, it was colder inside than out. No wonder everyone working there was wearing a jacket. Then it took longer than usual to be greeted by our server. The food I ordered was awful, the fish was rubbery.
The vibe was not warm and their food needs a lot of help.
Hope it improves.

Always a fan of the Wild Hare in Canby, the new OC location is awesome. The set-​up is cool, the beers are great, and the atmosphere is exactly as expected. I have seen some of the reviews and frankly did not witness any poor service. The food (burger) was as expected. Will be back.

Sad to report this, but each time we go back this place just gets worse and worse. I hope it’s a phase or growing pain. The wait continues to take forever, the help and service is declining. It’s like pulling teeth to get my guy to go back.

They did a really good job remodeling the place. It was clean and had a good vibe. We sat in the restaurant, but could hear live music from the bar, which was pretty good. The food however was just mediocre.

I’ve already been 3 times, and its been great every visit! I’ve been a customer at the Canby location for years, but I actually like this one a bit better because of its size and location. I REALLY like the Buffalo tots, potato soup, and my old standby… Shrimp Tacos! Service has been just as solid as the Canby location has been for years, so I’m having trouble reconciling some of the more negative reviews about service. My 3 visits were all at lunch time, and I had no trouble getting in and out quickly.

I had the worst experience I have had in a very long time at a restaurant. I came in with another couple and our party consisted of four adults one child and two infants. After being seated promptly we ordered dinner and drinks together. We received our drinks quickly and were enjoying conversations among ourselves. After 45 minutes we noticed people that were seated after us not only eating but leaving as they were done and had cashed out. This is when we had to get up and find a server to ask where our food was. At this time we were told it would be coming soon, I asked to speak with a manger and I was told there was a problem with the POS system and our order was never sent to the kitchen. At this time I blame the server for not refilling our empty pitcher of beer or noticing that after 45 minutes we did not have any food. Another 15 minutes later we finally received our food, which was a disappointment in itself. My wife offered the prime rib dip which was served different than the other prime rib did at the table, my BBQ chicken wrap was not BBQ style and the hamburger was cold. It was pretty bad that my kids Kraft Mac n cheese was the best tasting dish of the night. At this point we all just wanted to cash out and leave but again we had to go find a server to get us our checks. I am very disappointed that amongst our group we spent $ 70 in food that was very poor. Being a new restaurant in town I feel like this is unacceptable. My friends and I like to go out to dinner locally and this is one place I will not return to.

We have been in many times since opened and staff is always very friendly and attentive. Everything we have tried on menu has been exceptional. Highly recommend for all. Family friendly.

Love this new addition to the OC! Great food and drinks. Chelsea is the best waitress. She was right there whenever we needed anything and with a smile!
My friends and I will definitely be back!

This food is terrible they gave us food that sat out for at least 10 min I don’t recommend this place for you to dine out.

Wonderful place! I’m excited for Oregon city to have something new and upbeat! I love all the beer selections to choose from and the look of the restaurant is very charming. Shrimp tacos were scrumptious! I can’t wait to see this place grow within their menu.

Steamer clams were very satisfying. Came with sour dough bread. Yum!!! Crispy chicken wrap was good but could be warmer. My cider got lost probably because place was busy. Over all pretty good!..

Food was ok. Service wasn’t. Waitress didn’t know the menu. Talked me out of happy hour burger and into a regular menu burger. Didn’t mention it had mushrooms which I don’t like. Fries were under cooked. Bacon was under cooked. Waitress I think was more worried about her next hook up as she checked out guys more than paying attention to whomever she was talking to.
Why do I give it 4 stars? Atmosphere is nice. Oregon City needs something new that’s not crappy food. Way too many bad restaurants in this town. I have high hopes they will get better and I don’t want to kill the chances with 1 experience.

The city of Oregon City is blessed to have the Hare now. Canby has been the only place to. go and now more people can enjoy Joan Monens Wild Hare. Food is always good beer is always cold. It makes it even easier to meet up with the family.

We went here for dinner never been to the Canby location. What can I say the service is AMAZING !!! Kelli and Heather were extremely busy in the bar yet served us with a smile fast service and great food. I ordered the Alfredo pasta and wanted it spicy it had amazing flavor yet not as spicy as I would have liked. Kelli went out of her way to bring me three different spices from the kitchen to make it amazing. We will be coming here again for sure. I worked in the food industry for 18 years and I can say these people enjoy there jobs!

The atmosphere is much better than Jins ever was. Unfortunately, I have not tried the food because the service was so slow. The waitress literally clapped for joy that we decided not to order food. The beer was a little off tasting. Im not sure if I would recommend this place to anyone just yet…

Went for lunch with some friends from work. 1^st thing the menu was limited which was smart when you initially open. That said what was on the menu was overpriced for what it was. A good example is Lil coopers town but they are a little nicer and seem to get away with it. We were shown the happy hour menu and it looked great. I think they need to split the difference between menus to survive. There are too many choices in the area to pay those prices.
