Pita Pit hit a perfect medium for me. All of the selections we tried did not stand out to me or disappoint me. I am a fan of pita in general. I love gyros with tender spiced lamb. The gyro we tried was a far cry from the traditional, mouthwatering Greek wrap. It really was not bad either, just americanised which is no surprise for a chain restaurant. The falafel that I tried was not the crispy, creamy, dreamy falafel of my past encounters. However, again, it was just americanised. We tried a smoothie as well. It did not impress. You can add Monster energy drink to it for $ 1.00 more. Don’t ask me why. You can design your own pita, with plenty of meats, cheeses, veggies, and condiments to choose from. They also have a menu of designed pitas. Our veggies were pretty fresh, the quality of the meat was average. The ladies who served us were friendly, though the tables sorely needed a wipe down. Pita Pit does cater large parties. In the end, the meal sat well in my stomach. I ordered a regular sized pita(large is the other option), and it seemed to be just the right amount of food for a light meal. The prices are pretty hefty for what you get which may keep me away most of the time. $ 16.00 for two regular pitas(one veggie, one meat), and a small smoothie. You can see the size(picture below) of a regular size pita, and judge for yourself.

I visited this Pita Pit yesterday. I haven’t been to Pita Pit in years(I visited the downtown Portland location several years ago). I’m so happy this is so close to our new house! Fresh, delicious and on the healthier side! I had the gyro pita and my friend had the chicken souvlaki. Both were super yummy! I’ll be back!

Food is good like all pita pit Weekend staff needs to be more polite. The specials you have are nice and manager knows how to make fast pita

My favorite«fast food» place in Oregon City. The staff is always super friendly and the food is fresh and seasoned nicely. I would give it 4.5 stars because it can get spendy, but I just love the food. I go probably twice a week or more, and have never been disappointed with the service or the food.

I love this place! I was so excited that this location opened because for the longest time the only one I knew of was in Corvallis right off campus. I love the Philly and the garlic chicken with taziki(sp) and I can put all the veggies and sauces I want inside!

We have been here several times for the falafel pita. Their customer service is excellent. They are warm and friendly and the restaurant is immaculate! The pitas are made to order and they have a lot of good toppings and sauces to add to them. They even have a machine that makes sweet tea… SCORE! I even commended the manager on what a great job they were doing. We will definitely be regulars!

This place is very good but super over priced. They charge for any extras(even vegetables) and they charge way too much. Would be way better if it was reasonably priced. It’s not a gourmet restaurant by any means.

I went there — really excited about trying it. I got a wrap with feta cheese in it and it was tough like dried out chicken?!? It was SOGROSS. It was like it had been sitting out for days. The olives also tasted really chemically and their sauce and chicken were really bland. I would have been disappointed in it regardless of how much I paid, but was extra upset that the wrap was like $ 8. I would not recommend this place and I don’t think I will be giving them another chance.

Healthy and fresh. Quick service. Great taste. I’d give it 5 stars but I don’t like how you order and pay and then go though the line for selecting your toppings. I like it better how Subway does it… order, select, and then pay.

By far the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. The food is delicious but not worth the horrible hospitality and degrading glances. My order was overlooked twice by a nearly all female staff. The staff was batting their eyelashes, giggling and smiling at the twenty-something man that passed me. When I quietly asked if my order had been accidentally misplaced, they looked at me as if I was the biggest nuisance. When I finally got my order, before I could even thank her, the girl slapped it onto the counter and walked away without a word, without even looking at me. Probably the most degrading customer service experience I have ever had. Don’t eat here. It’s not worth it.

My wife and I have been here three times now. Very friendly and helpful staff. A lot like Subway– you move down the line and choose from lots of options. The food prep is fast and the result is delicious!(And healthy) I think we’ll be regulars here. Way better than fast food.

I thought about just knocking one star for the service but it was really that BSD that it needed a deduction of 2. The food? Delicious! Fresh. Can’t believe I hadn’t eaten here sooner. Love the finely chopped I onions, peppers and cucumbers. The sauce variety was excellent and above all the food was good. The service, though. Walked in and was greeted by a man maybe in his early 30’s. He asked if we had been here before and my lunnchmate responded«I have — but she hasn’t’. Now I don’t know if he just didn’t process what was said or what, but he looks st me and just nods. Puzzled, I said. «So do I order here?» He says yes and proceeds to tell me «Everything else you do — down there,» with another head nod. I order and he asks what kind of pita so I tell him wheat for all(we ordered 3 sandwiches). The next girl helps me and asks what kind of pitas, I tell her wheat for all of them. It seemed as though she was going to make all of our pitas but I was then asked by two other employees if we wanted white or red. The girls seemed to not know what they were doing as all 3 were asking each other questions about different things. You can chalk it up to being new employees(no idea if they were) but untrained employees with a Scrooge manager at lunch rush on a summer Saturday afternoon is a recipe for disaster. All of the tables were dirty so we had to clean our own. That being said, it was NOT that busy before we got there. In fact they were dead. There was time for cleaning up. Lok

Good place to grab a puta sandwich. Move forewarned, though, hummus and avocado are extra. And so is the large pita. A small, however, is pretty generous if you add vegetables. I love the wheat choice and the spinach. Veggie or meat pita alike are great with hummus. They have a yogurt based sauce which sounds gross and tastes delicious. If offered some, say yes!

Well, the jury’s still out at this location. They dropped a star and are sliding downward. I’ve been to Pita Pits in and out of the country and for the most part, they do pretty good. However, this one needs some help. They are terribly slow and their workers need some customer service training. The guy that helped me today was very abrupt and didn’t seem to care. If this location wants to keep my business, they need to shore things up. I gave them a month to see if improvement came. So far, not so much. They also need to adjust their pricing. $ 7.29 for a regular pita makes them a bit proud. I think they should be in the $ 6-$ 6.50 range tops!

I was excited to see this place open up in Oregon City. The location is great, right my Safeway and the movie theater… near my other lunch time favorite, jimmy johns. I had never tried it before and was looking forward to it! Pita pit was great! I went on opening day and didn’t have to wait long, maybe 10 min from start to finish. I had the chicken Cesar wrap… they grill up the meat on a large grill while your wrap is being made. It was super good but I was a little surprised at the price! 9.50 for a wrap and a soda… then again, it was a large wrap and was super filling… so, there ya go. The process was a bit choppy but I’m sure that will get better as time goes on. All in all I was impressed!
