Turned out to be someone’s driveway with zero parking, junk everywhere and a burned out building across the yard. There was a single sign that said«wine» with an arrow pointing to the back of an old house. At that point we decided we weren’t going to drink anything from this place and left without entering.

Researching things to do in the area and Googled wine and such and came across a winery not to far from where I’m staying. It’s literally someone’s house and a tiny room where they just have some wine out and tiny 75 cent tastings of what they have. I noticed all their wines were all basically fruity. I“m not a fan of fruit but tried away and strawberry wine was just«so-so» I took it for what it was and got a bottle since I was there and it was only 10 bucks. I could be a bit of a wine snob being only a few hours away from Napa and Sonoma wine country but I do appreciate wine everywhere if they have it just to see what it’s like in that area. I’m not a fan of Ohio wines if this is basically what it’s like here. Sweet, fruity wines with not much complexities. If anything… it’s a bit in the«country» which was nice and peaceful change to the city-ish areas in Toledo. Different scenery and the owner/wine maker was very nice and friendly. but everyone here in the midwest is friendly I’ve noticed.
