OK. This place is dingy but it’s not that dirty. I’ve actually seen them mop the floor on a daily basis. Believe it or not they rotate their lunchmeat so that stuff is pretty fresh. They keep the slicer clean. They get fresh rolls daily too. The place looks like it was never painted or remodeled since the early 60’s. I gotta admit some canned stuff looks a little suspect but I never got poisoned from anything. They carry almost anything from razors to playing cards although at a price. Take out beer is a big draw as they have some of the cheapest prices around. You’ll find some upscale craft brews but they are not afraid to carry a cheap fine selection of malt liquors as well. Colt 45 at $ 2 a quart. Steel Reserve(talk about not for the faint hearted) Olde English in 40’s & many more. Open every day & holidays too. Grab a 16 ounce 6 pack of Schlitz Malt Liquor for only $ 4.95 along with da chips & smokes. Grab a lottery ticket too. There’s a recession era Oreland Saturday night right there! God bless the Oreland Market!

Really Dirty in there. I don’t like to go in there any more. I don’t also like getiing food from there. You don’t know how long that food has been there. I only get candy and a soda if I go in there.

Not for the faint of heart. Beer and cigarettes are really the only reasons to shop there. Maybe soda and gum. But any food items? Yeah, NO. Even the canned items are expired. Oh and nothing beats waiting for the ever so charming gamblers to pick their stupid lottery tickets.

It’s kinda dingy-dirty in here — but hey — it’s right near the Oreland Train Station and it has cigarettes, cold water & beverages and snacks. We really NEED this place — so I hope the owner can spruce in up a bit and re-stock the shelves with less dusty items. I think they also sell lottery tickets here. It’s your basic bodega — but in the burbs.
