The ice cream and shake proportions are outrageously big at this place. A small shake was enough to share with my whole family of 4. The burgers and other food items here have no flavor. They look great but don’t taste like anything.

This was my first time to Iceberg, and i didn’t really have a good experience. I ordered a French fry and they only have one size which is kind of dumb for smaller people! It also only came with one small fry sauce! Which was not enough for the big«one size» French fry! Service: I was the only one in line and it took longer than it should have! They lady that also helped me was hard to hear and acted like she didn’t want to be there! She was not happy or friendly! Overall a bad experience!

The wait here is absolutely insane inside and at the drive through. I swear there is 2 workers on a Friday night serving a kazillion people. If you want to wait so long in the drive through that you make your own hole in the ozone layer then this is your place! You’ll have better luck a dq for sure.

The only reason this gets 2 stars is because their shakes are thick and wonderful… The staff took 10 minutes to wait on us and we were the only people in line. The young man taking our order was rude, impatient and very short(like we were interrupting his social time with the girls in the back) The inside looks like it is being prepped for demolition. Holes in the seats, holes in the walls, water leaking from the ceiling. There are plenty of other places to get a good shake! If you must have iceberg, use the drive-thru.

The shakes are gigantic, about 2 – 3 inches over the top of the cup and are super thick. Not the best shake I’ve ever had, but definitely 4 stars. Would definitely stop by again when in the area. Iceburg is a UT chain and also sells the standard burgers, hot dogs, onion rings and fries.

I waited for 20 minutes for one shake and one cone. The menu was so dirty and faded that it was almost illegible. They tried to give us the wrong order. However, the food was pretty good. Nothing to get too excited about, but okay.

I ordered one Reeses shake… they gave me a Heath. I was the only one in line. Don’t know how they messed that up. However, it was much bigger in size than expected.

I order a large raspberry shake and when they bring it out to me I’m wondering how they even make money on these. You’re not talking a sparse add in of fruit, it was teaming with raspberries. That coupled with how big the shakes are gets 5 stars alone. The food is good but the shakes are the reason to stop by.

Great shakes, fries, and chicken. Can’t vouch for the rest, but I still recommend you try it out at least once.

Fries were cold, burger tasted funny — I think it was the bun and the so called mini shake was more like a shake for two or three and not very good. The floor was super sticky so my shoes were crackling when I walked around to my table. The only good thing was the soda I got to wash it all down.

I have gone there 3 times in the last two months. The shakes are good but when are they going to start cooking the onion rings? I mean who wants a raw onion ring? Just sick. 3 strikes your out! The shakes aren’t that good. Oh and I did bring up the raw onion rings up twice. Sad really, they always look so good.

Yeah, the shake was $ 5 and then some, but they give you about half-a-gallon of that tasty goodness in a cup they call«mini.» But, it always takes them at least 15 minutes from the time I enter the drive through until the time I leave with my huge«mini» shake. The last time I was there the girl working the drive-thru attempted to hand me my shake which had begun to melt, causing it drip down the sides of the cup. Really, you didn’t notice your hand covered in melted shake? You’re just going to hand it to me with no napkins? I like shakes, but what was I going to do, wait 15 minutes for another one? Nope! After getting my cup wiped down I headed down State Street while enjoying my shake. As for the food, I have never tried it because I have friends and family who grew up in Utah who warned me to never, ever try the food.

Tough to review, because the fries are really good(assuming they’re hot), but a lot of the rest of the food isn’t spectacular at all. I sometimes come here just for the fries. People tend to like the shakes; the«mini» shake is enormous; no need to get the full sized shake. Many flavors.

The shakes and onion rings are all I come here for. The rest of the food is just typical fast food fare.

Terrible customer service! I order a pistachio shake, thinking it had pistachios. Silly me! No, nuts. I asked why they didn’t tell me they stopped putting the nuts in the shake and apparently they didn’t want me to leave without getting a shake. Which honestly, I would have done. Then he proceeded to tell me how much it costs to get shelled pistachios etc. I have not returned and will never return. I felt like they were dishonest.

I ordered a pastrami burger. The pic showed a double, I got a single piece of gray, mealy meat. The pastrami was like rubber. I realize that folks around here like thick shakes. That’s not a shake kids, it’s a cup of ice-cream. Sorry.

Go to Iceberg for the super thick shakes. Don’t even try to use a straw. They’re basically soft serve ice cream with a huge list of options for mix-ins. Each of the Iceberg’s delivers the same excellent shakes that I remember from the original Iceberg on 39th S &9h E in Salt Lake. The food? Not great.

Iceberg’s a good ol’ Americana burger joint. They messed up our order, and were slow, but made up for it in generously overcompensating in our order sizes. The burgers were quite good, though not superior. The fries and rings pretty yummy, though the fry sauce a little bland. From the looks of meals of fellow diners, the huge shakes are the local fave. A decent value, though the whole experience was eerily trippy as we looked at our huge portions flopped out on the table in front of us foiled against the HUUGE families(in head count and body weight) populating the dining room. The food was a pleasant flash back in time, indeed, but also a flash forward reminder of why Americans have such poor health. Still, Iceberg Drive-In is a pretty good choice for a local burger joint to support on occasion. They’re obviously working hard to stay true to their food niche and local market.
