Culver’s

I cannot fathom how this place continues to see glowing reviews! I had been once outside of Utah about three years ago and thought it was just so so. Tried again tonight to the detriment of my stomach and wallet. Asked the cashier if their fish was crispy. «Oh yes! We batter and deep fry it» I beg to differ. It was very much a microwaved soggy mess. The fish most likely started out ok. I could tell it could have been good. But they killed it. The fries are a joke. They taste like yesterday’s offerings, re-​fried. This was also after waiting twenty minutes for the food to come out. No explanation nor apology was given for why it would take so long. Everything I saw come out on a tray had me wondering how they continue to open franchises. There is nothing fresh here at all. Everything starts out frozen. I gave them one star because the the frozen custard is the only thing any one should be consuming here. Please do not think I am just a stuck up foodie! It was truly a disaster!!! And an expensive one at that.

I like Culver’s. I often forget they exist and honestly can’t remember ever seeing an advertisement for them, but when I remember them I come here.
We were on our way somewhere and needed a quick meal, so my girlfriend picked here. The drive thru had a couple cars in it, but it was quickly our turn to order. For the first time ever I opted for buffalo chicken tenders instead of a great burger. I added fries and a drink to it, proceeded to the next window, paid and picked up our food. From the start of the drive thru to the food in hand was around 6 or 7 minutes.
The food at Culver’s has always been great, but at this location it was greater than ever. The chicken tenders were the perfect amount of crispy and spicy. They gave me honey mustard, sweet and sour, and ranch dipping sauces. I opted to put some hot sauce in my ranch for a spicy ranch and thought it complemented the tenders perfectly, as well as my fries. The sweet and sour was pretty good, though a weird combo to the spicy chicken. They also have fry sauce for your fries if you need. The fries were much better than I’ve had at other locations. Perfectly cooked, and fresh! It all tasted pretty fresh.
A great, quick meal when you’re in need of one. The concrete are heavenly as well. I find it hard to leave here without spending $ 12+ a person, but the food is worth it.

What can you say about culvers… the standard for them is great food and extremely helpful and polite staff. All of these were met easily by them. And the only thing not giving them that fifth star is the lack of wow. Nothing on the menu or monthly specialty that really wowed me.

Burger was good. Fries weren’t anything special/​not good. Crinkle fries. Decent food. Okay service. Basically an over hyped arctic circle.

Clean, good, solid, delicious hamburgers, and the concrete mixers are great! You mix frozen custard with whatever toppings you want! Great variety

Best custard in town! Decent portions bulging with flavor. Respectful and helpful employees. Clean environment. We were very impressed! We will definitely come back!

Great place. My husband and I were just driving through and thought we would give it a try. I usually don’t like fish at fast food restaurants, but the server recommended it. I got the cod plate and was very impressed. Their root beer is also very good.

This place is on point! Or maybe that’s just the 12 hour drive to Orem talking.
I stayed near by this place a few times and finally decided to try it out. The staff was friendly, the place was clean and the menu was big.
We had a cheeseburger, chicken sandwich, cheese curds and onion rings. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. We tried the «fry sauce» and that was bomb! I definitely recommend the fry sauce. Dip some of those cheese curds in it and your taste buds will sing!
When in Utah and looking for something quick I recommend stopping here!

Really good burgers and desserts. The service is really good as well. We came 10 min before closing and they didn’t rush us out while we dined in. Some of the workers even came by and conversed with us since we were the only customers in the restaurant. Overall, great food and great service. Have been back couple times a week since.

I don’t get to go to these very often so when I am visiting somewhere that has a Culvers, I make sure and stop. Their custard is so yummy, not to mention fried cheese curds. I could eat my body weight in those curds.
This time I tried the sourdough burger and it was fantastic. The service was friendly and fast.

So far, I’ve only had their Reese’s vanilla concrete mixer. It was pretty delicious. I really like their custard, probably the best I’ve had around here. However, I still prefer Marley’s shakes over this, both for the overall taste and also the value. As good as the concrete mixer was, I paid about $ 3.50 for a tiny (6 – 8 oz) mixer. That same 3.50 would go a lot farther other places. Still, I’ll be back to try their food so I can give this place a more complete review.

I was pleasantly surprised with how good this place is. Tucker have me great suggestions for what to get and I loved everything I ordered. There cheese curds are the best ever. I have had them before at other locations and the ones here are better. They were the perfect temperature. The lemon ice with raspberry is super good too. I liked the grilled onions on the pot roast sandwich.
I was really surprised with how fast my order came and even more surprised with how hot it was. Most of the time when I get something fast at a restaurant I think it’s been under a heat lamp. However at this location I could tell that my food was fresh.
The bathrooms are clean along with the rest of the restaurant. I noticed that the staff goes above and beyond the average to make sure people are happy in the dining area.

I can’t get over how great this place was. Very clean, professional atmosphere. The staff was clean cut, friendly and competent. First impressions were excellent when I arrived.
We had a group of 12 people and a manager immediately helped me put together several tables in a corner and gave us a few tips on group sized deals. He returned throughout to make sure everything was going okay.
Then we got the food. Amazing. I would say just below red robin quality, but much cheaper. Great cheese curds and decent crinkle fries. Everyone in our group loved their burgers and chicken strips.
Two last things. Hands down best shake I’ve had probably since I moved to Utah 3 years ago. All their ice cream is freshly made in store every day, and they have a great selection of add ins.
And the flowers at all the tables are real. Not a big deal but when we noticed it was sort of the icing on the cake for the experience.
Go there, try it, you won’t regret it.
