Didn’t really like anything I ate the two times I’ve been here. The gift card I had wasn’t working either time I went, so that was also an unnecessary frustration. Better options everywhere, not planning on going back.

Pretty good food. I had the full bowl with brown rice, chicken and pork with the Jamaican jerk and teriyaki sauce. The food always tastes really good. The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. The downside is the cost for a bowl of rice, veggies, and some meat. I think if it was a little bigger or cheaper I wound give them 5 stars.

Great lunch place! I had the chicken mango salad. Delicious and healthy too. Great balance of ingredients and finally the perfect size dish for an entrée salad. I would definitely recommend!

The experience here was pleasant! A good friend and I came in for a first time, and were pleasantly surprised. The cashier was pleasant, and helpful with our selection. She applied the coupon we had no problem and was nice enough. The food was really good. I had the pork and tofu, and loved it. A hearty portion and good flavors, with a good mix of veggies.

Rumbi is a great way to switch up your daily routine. With a lot of reasonably healthy options, Rumbi is my go to place when I want to be a little more conservative for lunch. My typical meal here usually consists of a brown rice bowl with grilled chicken or steak, with vegetables. Go easy on the sauce, because sauces add a lot of hidden calories. The bowl always tastes fresh, with moist grilled chicken that you can tell wasn’t made yesterday. The vegetables are actually pretty good, especially when dipped in any of their signature sauces. The teriyaki sauce is a little salty for me, so I typically go with the jamaican jerk or their honey orange sauce. The menu here is pretty large, offering a wide variety of hawaiian style plates and meals. Prices are pretty decent. Around $ 8 for a half bowl, and $ 9 for a full. I usually just do a full bowl, and save the other half for breakfast or lunch the next day as it keeps pretty well. The staff is very friendly, and the food comes out pretty quick. I went here today at 11:45 and it wasn’t even busy, so keep that in mind next time you are looking for a less crowded restaurant during the lunch hour. Fresh food, healthy options, and a lot of flavor. Definitely a win in my book.

Dined here last Friday at about 5pm. We beat the Friday night crowds. As usual, we had another terrific meal. I love that Rumbi Rice and extra Teriyaki sauce on my chicken bowl.

This is a great place and the Mahi tastes amazing. The rice has an awesome Hawaiin seasoning as well, and the staff is super friendly. They even retroactively applied a coupon for us after we ordered because we forgot about it when we ordered. Make sure to try the chocolate lava cake. It’s delicious.

I honestly was shocked over how high the ratings are. This place isn’t horrible but i went in looking for somewhat authentic Hawaiian food. What I got from their bowl was chicken that was pre cooked and cubed like you get at costco served over«noodles» that was plain old spaghetti. The sauces weren’t bad(tried different kinds) and it was just all so mediocre.

Clean and pleasant atmosphere. the service was OK as well. however, the food is just bland. its as authentic Hawaiian as taco bell is authentic Mexican. The food wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t very good either. My wife had the grilled chicken with teriyaki sauce w/ son had the Mac and cheese. And I had the pulled pork with teriyaki sauce and Mac salad. For the price, you can find much better food elsewhere.

Work ordered this in one night. I had the rumbi tacos. For take out, not bad. The chips were hella stale though. Not sure why. The taco soup was three stars. Something was burnt in it(the chicken maybe) left a weird after taste

Solidly good, but not remarkable. I ordered the rice bowl with brown rice, shrimp($ 1 extra), and Bali Island sauce(like Thai peanut). The half size is the perfect amount for lunch! The shrimp was very tender and cooked perfectly, the veggies were tender crisp, and the sauce was SOGOOD. Ordering was quick, and I didn’t have to wait long for my food to arrive.

I would give a better review but the chicken always seems to be overcooked. Its been a while since I have been here but this time it looks like nothing has changed. Had the chicken sandwich and it taste like it could have been much better.

Came for the iced tea; stayed for the fries! This location is clean and well-staffed with smiling workers.

Delish. Chicken tortilla soup is bomb, they put coconut milk in it, so good! Their fries are actually some of the best too. Hubby always gets a bowl which is good, I get the salad with the noodles in it, sounds weird but it’s soooo good!

I honestly love this place! I love all the flavors and tastes offered in their dishes. The rice bowls and salads are both delicious. The portion size(important to me) is good, though the only thing keeping it from five stars is that i feel it is a little too expensive; take a dollar or so off the price of an entrée and I’m sold!

Rumbi has good food. I go there if I need a quick, healthy meal. But I just have to say. the customer service kinda sucks. Their attitude is like a grumpy old cafeteria lady. It makes me feel bad for ordering because the teenage girls that work there seem so annoyed and when asked for a menu recommendation, it’s like a problem that they have to do something other than just taking your order.

Overall this place is pretty good. The service is up and down, even in the same visit. When asking for recommendations the girl wasn’t overly helpful and only said the pork was great. We’ve ordered catering for the office from Rumbi for ~75 people and there was plenty of food. The catering portions seemed to be a little rice/noodle heavy, but maybe that’s just everyone taking scoops of the pork and chicken. Still, even with short notice they were able to deliver and went out of their way to get things taken care of. Rice bowls are good. No extra charge for the brown rice. The full size is only a $ 1 more than the half. Sweet potato fries are good but not really for catering. It’s hard to find many things to complain about the food. Overall meets expectations. Nothing too special, but nice atmosphere and good food.

ehh, I’m really not that impressed. Its got an awesome atmosphere, good service and is very clean, but the food is average. My wife had a chicken mango salad and it have only a few pieces of mango and the chicken was clearly packaged chicken you buy at the supermarket. I had their big burger and it was the same thing: frozen patties and buns, not long on flavor and very average. Its average at best. Too bad, I wanted to like this place.
