Wilder Sports Fields

The last time I played soccer it was in New Mexico during spring time. The wind was blowing like mad and there were tumble weeds rolling across the field as tall as me. Tumble weeds are real ya’ll! I decided I was too old for that mess and decided to stop playing.
Fast forward 4 years and here I am, driving up a beautiful street, up a hill, and at the end lots of pretty astro turf fields nestled in the hills. No tumble weeds just pretty grasses blowing in the breeze.
Need the restroom? Try out one of their clean indoor facilities equipped with fancy hand dryers. No porta-​potties over here!
Kids getting fussy? Take em to the little mini play grounds.
Thirsty? There are water fountains!

So nice… toilet very clean.
Parking is big.
I can waiting long times.
So good weather.

this is a well designed park for older children. the slides are steep and end high off the ground. there are fake rock structures to climb on also. other than a few coil rockers there is nothing fir the under 8 crowd. picnic tables are not next to park either, but they do have a bathroom right there. the fields seem nice at a distance.

My son had a soccer game here recently. Really nice fields with clean bathrooms and plenty of parking. The field is AstroTurf and I believe dogs are not allowed on it. My son liked the field a lot. The only downside is that there is not a lot of shade over the field we were at. I had to sit pretty far back to be in the shade. Other than that, great new fields.

I play softball here in the summer. Great fields. All astro turf. The Orinda league has a couple games on the old fields on the other side of the highway during the season, which makes these fields appear to be even greater. But at night, you can get some wind and fog and you start having flashbacks to Candlestick Park. But the league is a good one.
