This is my favorite coffee shop in the area. Prices are reasonable, great coffee. Try the Bees Knees. Stop on my way to work and never a wait.

Great place to relax. I was here on a hot summer day and left refreshed and happy with my drink. The baristas are really friendly and helpful. I also liked the overall look and feel of this place.

A great little coffee shop in Downtown Lake Orion! Was happy for our group to stumble upon this during a cold windy day. I had the Bee’s Knees latte with almond milk — it was SOGOOD! Honey and cinnamon were a great combination and I will definitely be back again. Large location with lots of tables and couches that would be good for studying or doing work. We were the only customers there, but it was an off time on a cold day. I’m not sure who owns/runs this and if there is some Christian theme in the background with all the pamphlets displayed. Confusing and a little secretive, hence 4 stars and not 5.

Good products and better prices than that big named coffee shop down the road.. The owner is very friendly and genuinely interested in making customers happy. They are true coffee fans who enjoy a great cup of coffee as much as their customer’s do.

I frequent this shop almost everyday. The least they can do is offer one in house refill on reg brewed coffee and iced tea!!! I grew up going to different coffee shops in numerous states and not once ever did any of them not offer at least one in house refill on reg brewed coffee and iced tea. So please offer it to continue my patronage.

This place is a rare gem in the middle of Lake Orion. Amazing coffee, staff and ambiance. Safe place to work, study and hang out. Coffee is smooth and good quality, not burnt.

A little gem in Lake Orion. There aren’t many local cafes around here and this one is great. Nice calm background music, seating by large windows, and productive atmosphere for working or studying. I LOVE that they have a large selection of loose leaf teas and that you can smell each one before purchasing. Wish they would prompt us if we want it in a mug or a to-go cup(I didn’t say anything and got the default to-go cup… but I wish I would have asked. Go check it out!

Extremely homophobic place. We were the only people at the register and after my friend placed his hand on my back in a thankful gesture for buying his coffee we were given smirks, zero eye contact or «thank you» when handed our drinks, and ignored when they forgot the bottle of water we purchased. I was thinking maybe they were just having a bad day? Since then, I’ve heard similar experiences from other LGBTQ people in the area and read other reviews inquiring that possibly LGBTQ people are not welcome. Sadly, this was not«just a bad day». The coffee is mediocre at best. They really need to learn how to do a proper pour over if that is what they are serving. I also noticed how they slam Starbucks on their menu saying that it’s «burnt». I prefer a bold roast over a mild roast that has been brewed weak due to lack of training… but that’s just my preference. If you like your coffee with a side of church then this place is for you, but only if you practice their denomination. The tables are littered with church tracks and pamphlets, the menu has bible versus on it, and Christian music is usually playing. I’ll take my coffee in a neutral setting with a smile and appreciation for being a customer. I’m sure they are just wonderful people but they definitely know how to make a person feel unwanted and unwelcome.

Fabulous coffee and great atmosphere. Their Honey Latte is my favorite specialty drink! Usually I’m content with any of their brews as pour overs. They sell LOTS of bagged coffee options in store! I willingly drive out of my way to get Abeantogo when I have the time!

A mixed review. The coffee and drinks are very good. They roast their own beans and their teas are also good. The people and the physical setting are very nice. However, most every table has Christian idolatry and various church pamphlets on them, and most days Christian music plays over the speakers. It’s really too bad – I enjoy the place, but the music and ongoing«WWJD» discussions behind the counter make it a fairly uninviting place for those who prefer to follow Matthew(6:6) and«pray in private.» Mind you, I have absolutely no problem with other folks’ beliefs; I personally prefer to not relax in a neutral coffee shop, rather than a church. It isn’t clear what brand of Christianity is pushed here, or whether openly LGBTQ folks, non-Christians, etc. are welcome or not – nothing is posted in that regard. For now, I’ll go to Idle Awhile in Oxford or Crates in LO, which are simply coffee shops without the proselytizing.

Having lived in Michigan my entire life, still hadn’t been to Lake Orion! Finding little, local coffee shops like this is a favorite of mine. Nice coffee shop, wood accented throughout, staff was very nice. They have many varieties of coffee, including pour over coffee, very unique and fun to watch! Coffee was good! This place even has a cool art gallery in the coffee shop. Wasn’t thrilled that they don’t don’t free or discount refills, but I’d go back again!

New to the area and looking for independently owned coffee shops, usually never disappoint. Three of us were new guests and Kirk recommended the Bees Knees, a latte with honey and cinnamon. I loved it and I’m usually a chocolate nut. We all decided we are coming back. Warm, inviting environment and a great place for meeting up. A Bean to Go is definitely a winner with deep roasted flavor, not burnt taste!

A gem in downtown Lake Orion! Been there twice, and love the coffee and the atmosphere. They also have live music every Friday night. Owner and staff are super friendly. They have a leave a book, take a book shelf which is super cool for bookworms like myself. Great place to focus on work!

Great me addition to the quaint town of lake orion. A much needed atmosphere to sip(really good) coffee and get work done. Lovely people and great set up. Have been here way too many times already. My favorite is bourbon blizzard but everything has been amazing.
