Had carryout there this evening. In order to get meat, I ordered the Seafood Trio and was told by Bridget, the Server, that the Trio would take longer to prepare than the the Create your own Pasta and selected it with Meatballs, both tomato types, spinach, Alfredo sauce, linguine pasta, crushed peppers, and garlic. I asked Bridget, the server, if the meatballs were beef. She indicated that yes, the meatballs always are beef. I indicated my satisfaction with that answer and waited for the purchase to arrive. I paid Bridget the $ 25.23 for the meal prior to meal arrival and tipped Bridget $ 5 for a carryout meal with no water nor any other service table-side. Bridget returned with the receipt and I noticed that everything else was on the receipt except MEATBALLS. I asked Bridget if that fact meant that the meatballs would be included with the meal. Bridget stated that there are so many items to list, there is no room on the receipt for the meatballs but yes, the meatballs would be included. Got home, began to eat the hot food from the marvelous aluminum carryout container, marveling over the excellent flavors, and discovered then that there was no meat at all anywhere in the bag. This is a terrible display of incompetence and a serious lack of professionalism. Full refund please.

SAVEYOURMONEY!!! Worst meal and service I have had at any restaurant in a very long time. Should have known the quality went way down when I walk right in on a Friday night @ 6:00PM. Started off with garlic cheese bread. Ok I love garlic but the garlic they use was supposed to be fresh, garlic is never bitter when it is fresh and this garlic bread had such a nasty bitter taste and to top it off half the bread was over done and the other half raw. Ok main meal. Chicken parrm was ok but just ok. We also ordered the backed ziti or Should I say dry, over backed and cold ziti. To top off the whole night our waitress was so rude and none attentive. When I told her about the garlic bread she made a smirky face and turned around and left never even asked if she could replace it or take it back. She then removed it from our table to my disbelief she was going to charge me for it after she threw it away. Manager came by and asked how everything was, told her this would be our last time there and food was horrible. She just goes oh sorry and leaves. To make it a grand slam we sat in the bar area and I seen the manager and waitress talking about us. Yes I know they were because they turned around and seen me looking at them and they left quickly.

Don’t come here for 2 reasons! We got horrible food poisoning al those who ate the food which we spend over $ 100 on! And number 2 when bringing this to higher manager NOONE cared and she never called me back. Will never come here again and will tell all family and friends never to go. Please pick other restaurants. So many in Orland. As they made a mistake and did NOTHING to fix it.

We visited on a Saturday night in June for my mother’s 60th birthday. We had a group of 18 and it was easy to make the reservation on the website. We were seated quickly and they were accommodating to our requests. I was a bit surprised that for a group of 18 that we had one waitress. She did a good job of making sure we had drinks and food came out promptly. The food was decent and easy to order for a group this size. I’d suggest the chicken parmesan and Fettuccini Alfredo. We were pretty uncomfortable the whole time there due to the temperature in the restaurant. We even complained to the manager and she came to our table to apologize. It cooled down for what seemed like 5 mins, then got pretty hot again. We were in the back corner of the restaurant though. We had a table of 18 people fanning themselves with menus! Other than that it was a good family experience. If you’re looking for something turnkey for a large group this place does great. The manager even caught us on the way out and apologized again — since the outside temps rose they had a hard time cooling down the large restaurant and she gave us a $ 25 gift card.

Nothing really special honestly. It was good, I was full by the end of the meal however I don’t think it was that amazing. It tasted like normal pasta honestly, nothing super special. I mean I would go again, the staff was very friendly and welcoming and their stuff mushrooms were great!

Very overpriced. From an italian cook, people who think their flavorless meatballs are good definitely dont know good italian food. $ 16 for a salad that is the same size as a $ 12 entrée salad elsewhere…(they just call it family size). Paid $ 50 for 6 cheese manicotti and a salad for two… no soda or drinks even. NOT worth it.

Had Easter dinner there with 11 people, food and service was wonderful. Every appetizer and dish was great! No room for dessert but maybe next time!

Just a few words… at one time the amount of food was worth the cost. Not the the case anymore…29.00 for a large salad? Come on!!! Shame on me for not realizing they raised their prices. Bye Buca

Food is good. Best lemon chicken around. The kitchen table is a Fun time. Kids meal portions are enough for 2 – 3 kids! Can be noisy. Too expensive for the food.

Just your standard Buca di Beppo! Large family sized portions of decent Italian food. I’m typically not a chicken fan, but I do approve of their Chicken Limone! Baked Rigatoni is just meh. Definitely come with a larger group, unless you want lots of leftovers. Service at this location was decent, but not extraordinary.

The food here is nasty and is overpriced for pasta that you can buy for $ 5 and make at home! You may be getting a lot of food but in the end it’s pasta and not even good pasta. The pizza is nasty, the spaghetti tastes like something you can make at home and the Alfredo is mediocre. The huge meatball was gross and had no taste! The people who enjoy this place do not seriously know what real, authentic Italian food is or what it’s supposed to tastes like. The only thing that I enjoyed was the Tirmisu. The only reason why I am giving them two stars is because my server was nice and they have good desserts.

Love this place! Best place to eat if you’re feeding a big crowd. Food is great for satisfying your craving for anything Italian. Here’s your hot tip… go to Costco and buy the 25% discounted gift cards from Buca! Their Tiramisu is my favorite… huge, rummy, and delish! Wishing Sophia Loren was serving me.

I had the apple salad, It was very tasty. I also had the pepperoni pizza with spinach and onions. I would get it again. It was very good. The crust is thin like I like it. The atmosphere was pretty nice. Oh they give you bread before the meal always a plus

The food is amazing. All the pastas I have tried have not disappointed. The sangria is great too. If you’re looking for Italian food in the area, this is the place.

If you like real authentic Italian food, don’t go here. Chicken Marsala was sickly sweet, as was the Lasagna. Apple Walnut Gorgonzola salad was okay, although overly dressed. That said, our server was fantastic. Too bad that good service can’t overcome bad food. I won’t be back.

The Orland Park location catered my birthday celebration. I was very pleased with the entire experience starting with the staff that assisted with the order to the delivery guy. The food was FANTASTIC! Thanks for making my birthday dinner a success. Referrals are in order :-)

I’ve only ordered to go from here but the service is very good. The portions are huge. Their small feeds at least 2 people. We ordered the spicy chicken rigatoni and I thought that it was prepared well. I would have preferred a little more sauce, but I can ask for that in the future. For the salad, we tried the apple gargonzola — The pecans tasted a little funny and the mixed lettuce was a bit more on the bitter side. All in all, I haven’t had a pasta dish from here that was a disappointment. The food 3 stars, the service brought up the rating to 4 stars.
