POOR customer service here, we tried to sell them some almost new stuff, they told us they will text us on tuesday to tell us the buy was ready, mind you we where there on a saturday. got a phone call the next thursday and was rude and asking if we where coming to get our money. the wife went in and they did buy everything but the almost brand new bread maker, they stated they dont buy them(even with 4 on the shelfs for sale) and told my wife they threw it out??? i dont know what gives them the right to just throw out someones property, then to top it off, emails where sent to the store owner and corporate and nothing has been responed to… POOR customer service.

This is not your average thrift store. This is not your average consignment store… Here, you can bring items to sell, and the employees will assess your items and offer you money on the spot. The dilemma is you are not going to get consignment prices, and you are not giving your items away, however you are really getting very little money for what you may consider valuable. The next day, you will come to the store, and see that New Uses is selling your item for four times what they paid you for it. But, at least you did not have to do a garage sale or deal with people on Ebay or Craigslist! Now, on the other hand, if you are just a shopper, you may find this a «Thrift Store Heaven,» as they have carefully selected most items, hence there is very little«junk.» You will find mostly modern items, that are not damaged or soiled. There is typically a large selection, often so large that the shelves and floor are jam-packed. Personally, I enjoy stopping in occasionally to see what may be lurking on the shelves. The pricing is a little inconsistent, as you may find some of these used items are a little«overpriced.» But, I always ask myself, how bad do I need/want it?

Great store! I sold to them and they paid pretty well. I was happy to have the stuff out of my house and cash in my pocket. The store has LOTS of stuff but it is well organized. The prices seem pretty fair. Of course the quality of the merchandise is based on what they have coming in, so if you don’t find what you’re looking for, try another time. But I did score by finding quite a few Pampered Chef kitchen items, so you just never know!
