Horrible service! First time there was a month ago. Service was terrible but gentleman explained computers were down so I chalked it up to him having a bad day and figured i would give them a pass. Ordered again yesterday. Ordered two pizzas and fries. Was told 45 minutes. Went there in 50. Paid and was told just a couple minutes on fries. While waiting a woman came in and ordered two beef sandwiches. They rang her up, she paid and then told her oops we are out of beef. She asked about the pasta special posted on the wall. No one could give her a price.(Special says comes with soup) finally figure out ring her up again… No soup today. Also while sitting there a gentleman came in for his order and they told him it would be another 45 min as they«forgot to bake his pizza» properly(ordered stuffed). 20 minutes later I asked if my fries were done. They asked for my name again… Brought me my order and tried to ring me up again. Nope I paid. Oh and still no computers… Will not be back. And quite sad as the food is really good.

Hard to believe some of these negative reviews, really wondering if some may be Palermo’s competitors. I’ve been eating their regular crust pizza since the 1960’s, 63rd. St. Chicago, Oak Lawn, Frankfort and Orland/Tinley Park. It is the same family whether you count cousins or not, they all capture the essence of the original Palermo’s on 63rd. Sure, the sauce is sweeter, but not as sweet as other no name places who don’t do it right. Palermo’s has just the right sweet/spice, quality sausage(usually too meaty for me), great cheese and their signature not too thick, not too thin good bread crust. As far as customer service, never had any real problems. Once Orland called me before my pizza was to be delivered to tell me they had a driver with car problems and my delivery would be probably an additional 15 minutes to the original hour quoted, and they said my pizza wouldn’t be sitting around anywhere getting cold. They ended up only being an additional 5 minutes late. Tinley did once charge my credit card twice and corrected it. I can tell you they’ve donated gift cards to a couple of local charities I’ve volunteered for as raffle prizes! And as far as the credit card, I’ve had that happen at many retail places I’ve shopped and I don’t believe in any way the merchants are trying to steal. Usually computer glitches or common human error, it happens. I’ll eat this pizza, I’ll serve it, I’ll be proud to advertise it when they donate it. They aren’t going anywhere, nor should they!

Love their sweet sauce. We ordered online and had it delivered for a later time. We ordered 2 paper thin pizza well done with salad and they came just when they were supposed to. My only suggestion with ordering online is there no place for comments… Only reason we like our pizza well done and we needed salad dressing for the salad.

I am in the service industry and understand honest mistakes. This carnival of an operation however goes well beyond simple mistakes. I made an online order and charged it directly to my credit card and was told an hour for delivery through the online portal. When 70 minutes went by– on a Thursday night mind you, I decided to call and inquire on the delay. I was greeted with a phone that consistently went to voice mail. My level of irritation now growing, I called the sister location in Tinley, only to be put on hold while they too tried to contact the Orland location. Finally, the Tinley location took me off hold to tell me they finally got in touch with Orland and the Orland loccation stated they were so busy they stopped taking orders… even though they gladly took my CC info online but never made my pizza let alone called me to tell me I shouldnt expect one!!! I was told by the Tinley location they would make it, but it would be another hour, and they wouldnt deliver to my area so I would have to pick it up! Stunned, I explained that it was too late and I just wanted my CC refunded, but of course that had to be done through the Orland location only… SHOCKER! Now bordering on enraged, I had to contact Orland back to get my CC refunded. Big reveal here… they didn’t answer the phone again until my 9th try!!! I was incensed and demanded my refund. To the credit of the man that finally answered my call, he took my info and called me back to assure me the refund went through. By far the poorest customer service I have experienced in a long LONG time and needless to say, will NEVER be calling this place a again!

This is not only the worst customer service but they are always out of things. I suggest that this place gets some serious organization together. So I called on Wednesday December 23rd2015 at roughly 6:40 pm… I was informed they had NOCHEESE. Serious you must be kidding me NOCHEESE. Sad im sorry this place has got to be the worst when it comes to keeping stock not to mention I called the week prior and they had no sausage or pepperoni. At this point I am so done trying to give a place business that clearly does not care about its customers. They always apologize for this and that but still can not correct the issue. I spoke with a manager and he wasn’t much help either.

I was kind of surprised when I saw this place on Groupon– I thought they would have gone out of business years ago. Their food is crap, the service sucks, and if that’s not bad enough, they gave half of my family rotavirus without admitting any wrongdoing on their part. Yep, rotavirus. Run from this place– do not stop, do not order, do not give them the satisfaction of taking your money. They’re not even related to the«real» Palermo’s on 95th, they’re some kind of distant cousin or something. On the rotavirus issue, my cousin had her daughters Baptism party here. These bozos had some dude in the kitchen carrying the virus, he ended up getting like 18 people in our party sick. The a-hole owners refused to acknowledge any wrongdoing in spite of practically killing my octogenarian grandparents. We ended up suing them(and we’re not legal-action kind of people), and we won. Through the whole ordeal we never got an apology or an acceptance of blame. After seeing they are running Groupon specials, I had to write this to warn people away. This is a bad, bad place with awful food and terrible owners.

We ordered a pizza online last Saturday and were told 25 minutes for pickup. My husband went to pick up the pizza only to be told they didn’t have it and we must have ordered from another location. My husband called me and I gave him the confirmation number, he was then told they just didn’t make the pizza. They told him they had to send someone home and they had no one for deliveries and were doing pick-up orders only. Again, no reason why our pick-up order wasn’t made. When my husband got home, Palermos called(now they found our phone number!) to say they could make our pizza and it could be ready in an hour and fifteen minutes and did we still want it. No thanks! I hope this was an isolated incident but the way this situation was handled makes me very hesitant to return.

As many people stated, it is a sweet sauce, but we like it. Palermos is one of our go to places for pizza. Highly recommended. I have ordered it for parties and everybody loved it. Have never had a customer service issue there. Monday and Tuesdays they have specials $ 6 off XL and $ 5 off Large. They are a bit pricey, but the specials really help with the cost.

Our favorite pizza place is now PALERMO’S ! Our family has ordered many of the different pizzas and they are all great! Don’t hesitate to try the Chicago Style Beef pizza! It’s absolutely the best pizza they have! I’m shocked by the negative reviews as we have ordered many times here and have never had a complaint!

I’m a new customer and this review is only on customer service. I Tried to order a Pizza and Blackened Chicken Salad. First attempt I was put on hold for 6 minutes — management should know most phones track how long you are waiting. I hung up and tired again but the phone was answered with«Palermo’s, can you hold?» I said«no, I already did that and was put on hold for too long, can you take my order?» No reply, and then click, was put on hold. Could not do it again, I hung up and ordered from my regular place.

Beware! Ordered pizza last night, phone girl wrote the card number and code on a piece of paper. Sure enough two fraudulent charges this morning on the card. Called the manager and she couldn’t be bothered, she would have to dig through the trash to find the paper, no they DONOTSHRED the paper with your card number and code on it! Will never order from there again and if you do please use cash!!! Not a good way to run a business!!!

Sorry guys, this Pizza misses the mark. Stuffed spinach pizza, one of my favorites, and almost inedible. When the reviewers say sweet sauce, think the sweetest you ever had, and multiply it by 2. This make Aurelio’s seem spicy. The crust is bland… I don’t know, you can do better.

I’m really surprised at all the bad reviews. We ordered an individual thin crust, a medium thin crust and an eggplant parm entrée. The pizza was good. I liked the sauce. The eggplant parm was also good, almost as good as my moms :) I had a sore throat though and wanted soup with my eggplant which they were out of, so I got spaghetti and the spaghetti had almost no sauce on it. I like a lot of sauce. Will definitely order from there again though

Not bad. I mean that in a good way. You won’t be disappointed with their thin crust. Pretty good for the munchies kind of pizza.

Good pie. I have ordered 3 times with Pick Up only, never an issue. Yes the sauce is sweet but I love it.

By far one of the worst pizzas in the Chicagoland area. I will eat most any pizza, like really, any pizza, but not Palermo’s. The sauce is far too sweet and does not taste anything like a Chicago style pizza should taste. I’ve given it a try twice and been very disappointed both times. Yuck!

Used to look forward to Palermo’s 95th every Friday night growing up. This does not even come close! Over sauced, undercheesed. The delivery guy tilted it so everything slid. Side salad was a joke. Chopped lettuce topped by 2 cucumber slices does not make a side salad! UGH major let down

Great pizza if you’re a fan of a sweet sauce. Ask for it well done. This location is delivery and take out only but their pizza travels well.

Pizza was delicious! It’s New Year’s Eve & our dinner plans were interrupted when the restaurant we planned to go to was CLOSED. After calling several other places, my husband & I quickly realized that a sit down dinner was out of the question. 2+ hour wait times! My husband suggested Palermo’s & I just found my new pizza place! Sauce was sweet and plentiful. They were very nice, service was quick and easy. Will be back soon!
