Uncle Bob’s Self Storage

Kim the store manager is more than wonderful! She is always ready and willing to help me on a moments notice! Best storage manager I have had in 15 years! I would go out of my way to store at this location because of the service — Kim and her employees are top notch! Thank you Uncle Bob’s!!!

I have been a customer of Uncle Bob’s for several years and I couldn’t be happier. The staff is friendly, very nice to work with and willing to help in any way! I would recommend Uncle Bob’s to anyone looking for self storage.

This place changed hands over a year ago… it used to be Metro Storage and Uncle Bob’s bought them out. The old owners rented out the various storage facilities at a pretty nice price… the new owners gave everyone a pass on rent increases for one year, and now they have started raising rents to get them up to «market»…be that as it may, it is still a pretty nice place.
They have both indoor, climate-​controlled units and outdoor units without climate control. Obviously being in the climate-​controlled area is a bit more expensive. Everything here is very clean… they have good housekeeping, so the premises and areas around the units are all nicely kept… they earn big points for this. They do not have a lot for storage of RV units or boats. The office area sells locks, boxes, and other shipping/​packing supplies. The office people are very nice and professional.
This facility has a dock with sunken ramp so you can take direct truck delivery; they also have a grade level area where a truck can drop a lift or you can run your own ramp… either way these are nice offerings and they open to double-​doors so you can get a skid load through the doorway. They have various carts for moving boxes, but they do not offer a lift for moving around skids. It is located just off Wolf Road and you can see Interstate 80 from the property. All-​in-​all this is a pretty nice storage facility for your extra stuff.
