This place is swell! I’ve always been a huge snob about RV parks — I’d sleep in a rest area before deigning to park my VW Vanagon next to a bunch of motor homes. But the rest areas were closed, and here was this place right off the Orland exit. For $ 15 you get a nice parking spot with wifi and the cleanest little bathroom with hot showers, all decorated just like your grandmas house!

It’s not the national park campground so I’m gauging our experience off of convenience, safety and cleanings — this RV park aced them all! We pulled in after 10am, too tired to make it to Redding. The site is clean and even. You can hear the freeway but not loud especially we were just beat! The restrooms are super clean with showers. Kudo to the owner who we didn’t get a chance to meet. Thank you for putting an effort to make this a welcoming place for us over nighters.

Easy access from I5, lots of services available(gas, food, etc), but the management is the real reason this place shines. Francie is a gem! Park is clean, friendly, quiet, pets are welcomed and fees are reasonable. This is our go-to for overnight stays to and from California from Oregon. Nothing fancy, but it feels like you’re home.

Friendly helpful park management. Nicely shaded. Pet friendly and reasonably priced. Unilocal maps seem a bit off on the location, from I-5 it is just west on the highway 32 exit, take the first right and just past the cul-de-sac. Lots of green area to walk dogs, and although next to the interstate the noise is not oppressive, and is a calm quiet well maintained park. Oh, and the I-5 café between it and the off-ramp is worth stopping in for a bite to eat. Easy pull-through sites for RV’s. Prices are reasonable(about $ 26 with full hook-ups). I will definitely use them again next time I am in the area.
