So happy to have this new Starbucks on our regular route on I-5 between Sacramento & Yreka CA(which is pretty much a good-food drought). We are Starbucks fans & the staff here was friendly & efficient on our stop at 4 pm in New Year’s weekend. It’s easy to see going north from I-5 but if you miss it going South, as we did!, the next exist is nearby for a quick turn around. Excellent traveling location(I feel bad for Dutch Brothers which is same exit, except I never knew it was there, since you don’t see it from freeway.) Welcome Starbucks & thanks!

This is a very nice Starbucks, great location, great parking lot, great area behind Burger King. Seems like it’s brand new! Anytime I am near I5 exit, I usually stop at Dutch Bros, which is actually just a block away and both coffee places are convenient for your preference! The main reason I came in this morning is because I have a Reusable January 2016 black coffee cup, a Christmas gift I received! Basically it cost about $ 40 and you can get 31 days of brewed coffee or tea for the whole month of January 2016. Seems like an awesome cool gift and I’ve never had one before, so when I took it with me to Orland Starbucks this morning, the barista had NOCLUE what the heck it was! Yikes, I wasn’t expecting this to happen because she was actually going to charge me for a regular coffee. Took me awhile to explain to her and for her to understand what it was. After some confusion and hesitation, she did give me the coffee in my cup for free, but what’s strange is she never went to her manager or co worker to verify this black cup I have! It would have been better for her to show all of her co workers what I had, in case another customer comes in with the same cup, at least they would all be on the same page of what this black cup is for. With my mobile app, I also ordered a Pecan Tart. These little tarts are tasty for $ 2.95, tastes just like a mini pecan pie. I consider Starbucks a treat because it is very expensive. Nice interior and exterior design of this Starbucks and great location.

We stopped by this Starbucks on a very long road trip for thanksgiving. The place was clean and the staff was super nice. So I couldn’t help take a hot Danish for the road. They have a drive thru for those in a hurry. There was plenty of seating and if we are in town we will definitely stopping by. Happy Thanksgiving!

The times I have been here the service has been friendly, but my drinks were done terribly wrong. One time I was here and ordered a seasonal drink with Soy milk. The lady who made my drink was also the one who took my order. She told me she was new and was looking in the book for the ingredients for my drink, which was fine. She serves me my drink and it is regular milk! I am vegan and drinking milk would have greatly hurt my body. I have patience for people who are new and learning, but asking and paying extra for soy milk does not make the drink more difficult to make. My most recent visit here, I ordered a tall soy green tea latte with half the sweetener and 3 extra scoops of matcha. Half way down the road I took a sip and my drink was very sugary with very little taste of matcha. I was already on my way, so I did not turn around and ask that they remake my drink. It is just frustrating because I did not want my drink very sweet and I paid extra $$$ for the 3 scoops of matcha that did not find their way into my coffee cup. I am just disappointed in Starbucks and will make my way to Pony Espresso next time.
