This location carries St. Augustine gin and vodka and both are delicious. If you are a fan smooth, local alcohol, give these a shot. My favorite brand right now! Did you know this lovely brand was founded in Downtown Orlando? That’s right, the original store, Jack’s Friendly Neighborhood Bar, was located in downtown Orlando at the corner of Orange Avenue & Wall Street. Nuts. «Always Be Celebrating,» am I one of the last people to learn of this meaning? I learned it a couple of years ago and what a fun name when you actually know what it means. So much knowledge dropping on this review =) I have been in here a couple of times and the service has been fabulous and ok. Overall, I have walked out with exactly what I needed. This place may not be as huge as total wine but it’s not as overwhelming if you know what you are looking for. On their website they also have some guidelines with how much alcohol to have at large events and dinner parties including some fun recipes. Dig that.

I usually go to Total Wine but I was in the area so figured it quicker to go here than cart around town during traffic. Saw a couple sales guys walking around but nobody offered to help out. It was like a Tetris/Maze trying to find whiskey. I didn’t like the layout at all. I had to stop and ask someone eventually as it was hard to find someone that looked willing to help. The toughest part was asking if they had Florida Select Club Whiskey/Florida Crown Club. I asked at the counter and everyone was clueless. They literally thought I was mistaken. Hello, it’s on your website! I’ve bought it several times before at Total Wine. Anyways, long story short not the best customer service. I’m used to Total Wine where people walk around and say hi and try to help you find what you’re looking for. At least be knowledgeable about your product. Also, prices were nuts compared to other local liquor stores.

Since it is ABC, I won’t stop coming here but our experience and service has been all over the place. One day it can be OK, another day it was really, really bad. We never use our loyalty card — only our phone number. We have had this card forever. Never has been a problem before but two days ago we came in and the very ornery lady at the cashier who can’t use a keyboard seemed to have put it in wrong, and basically said«Its not working» as if it is our fault. Then she tried to complete the transaction without it. She was not nice at ALL so my husband insisted and we proceeded to give her two other phone numbers AND our name and she still gave us a horrible attitude and since we insisted — we could see she was not putting this in correctly due to her attitude, she rudely called a manager over, once he got there she again rudely stated that she was going on break. He found our information and told us that that particular machine hadn’t been working right. Yeaaahhhhh sure. Little Miss Sunshine had NOTHING to do with it. They are well stocked but don’t carry six packs of Arrogant Bastard Ale, just the big bottles.

There’s nothing extraordinary about this store or that sets it apart from any other ABC I’ve been to, but thought I’d post a review nonetheless. There’s a good selection here and I’ve found a couple of items here that I never tried before or had seen elsewhere. I’m not taking away any stars for this, but sometimes this store sells out of certain things. I went in one night last year looking for vanilla vodka and there was none to be found. Not a single bottle of any brand. I asked one of the employees if I was just looking in the wrong place, but he said that I wasn’t and that it was simply just all gone. Maybe this happens at other or most liquor stores from time-to-time, so it’s not a big deal. Getting in and out of the parking lot at this store can be a little confusing and tricky, especially if you’ve never been to it before. Again, I’m not taking any stars away because of that, but it is a little quirky. If you check this store out, you’ll probably understand right away. As I mentioned, this store is essentially similar to, if not the same as, the other ABCs I’ve been to, so I’m not going to give it 5 stars or 1 star. It’s definitely a reliable place to go to for beer/wine/liquor/gifts/etc. and is in a convenient College Park location.
