If you’ve read any of my previous park reviews, you will probably notice that there is trend here. I am a huge fan of green spaces nestled in urban settings, big or small, parks always bring value added to their surroundings. Albert park is a small park in the heart of College Park, home to holiday decorations, live music and a quiet place to enjoy peaceful minutes during your day. This place is interesting and intimate. Pack a lunch or a snack and head to Albert Park for some valuable ME time.

The cuteness that is Albert Park is right across the way from the cuteness that is my apartment, in College Park. Albert Park is on the small side, a block at best. It lies on the main strip of College Park shops and eats; in the center of the park is a gazebo that is perfect for a break during an evening walk, for photo ops, or for a first time meeting with a potential boo(I know you people are OKC/Tinder savvy, don’t try and play coy). Fun fact: most Tuesday nights you can catch local musicians jamming out in the gazebo. Bring your tambourine; I’m sure they’ll let you join!

Tiny city park located in the heart of College Park. It usually serves as the central meeting spot whenever the neighborhood has one of its regular community events. In the center is a cute white gazebo, which could be nice for weddings/commitment ceremonies if you don’t mind the traffic on Edgewater. Outside of the great location, there’s not a whole lot here for kids. Parents would be better served taking their kids over to Mathews Park, which is off Formosa between Hazel and Steele.

This is a great little community park in the heart of College Park. Most of the community events happen in this location. It located right on Edgewater Dr. and close to a lot of restaurants. This is also close to the spot when they have concerts in College Park they set-up the stage near here.

Albert Park lies in downtown College Park area on Edgewater drive between Smith street and Rugby street. The park itself is not too large, but it is a nice little nature preserve located in a beautiful area. It is a nice park to just walk through to relax from the everyday riffraff of life. They also have weddings there every now and then apparently, but if I am going to get married at a park I would probably choose Lake Eola Park over this one. All in all, Albert park is a great place to stop for a break or picnic when strolling around the College Park area on foot.
