Every time I find a piece of green carved out of urban sprawl, it gets five solid stars. Granted there are no facilities in this park so perhaps it is better suited for those who are fortunate enough to live close by. This is usually stop in the middle of my long runs, so I stop here to stock up on water for the rest of the workout. A couple of days a week, I follow some of the exercise stations for a quick morning workout. There is also a small field to kick around a ball or throw a frisbee, or if you have small ones, there are swings and slides as well. Convenient and safe parking on the street.

This is a nice neighborhood park with swings and two play structures. There is a large, open space where kids can run(and chase the squirrels) and there are several picnic tables. There is also a paved trail around the park which is nice if you want to get in a little run or walk with a stroller. The one major downside is that there is no restroom or parking lot. It wasn’t too hard to just park on the street but the fact that there was no restroom anywhere in sight was not a good thing when at the park with little ones. Come prepared…

This is a cute little park in the neighborhood of College Park. Very nice if you want to walk your dog, read a book, or just hang out with friends. With a playground for the kiddies, it’s the perfect place to take your children. I didn’t spend too much time there, because there’s no parking lot and I got nervous parking on the street.
