I always have a wonderful experience when I go to alemar salón and spa! The atmosphere is so calm and relaxing I really love it! Kim the stylist there is the only one I trust with my hair she is truly amazing! She is great with kids and I am so thankful for a stylist like her self

I’m a stylist from NY that has tried NUMEROUS salons in the area. Florida is just so behind w/​knowledge it’s frustrating.
Alemar’s ads and website are all about «their pictures» it’s fine if you have nice pictures of your stylists posted but I care about if you know hair color and how certain types of hair fall after you cut it.
I went in for only a foil. The woman spoke ZERO english. I asked for a certain type of foil (2 together so they were a little chunkier) and the owner translated. Well even w/​the the translation THE WOMAN DID THE OPPOSITE OF WHAT I ASKED. Fine… now let’s start with she used a normal rat tail comb to foil. I HAVE NEVER SEEN THIS IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. Using a rat tail (it’s thicker than a foiling comb) means you will not get the foil close to the scalp. Well the foil was about an inch from my root. I already had inch roots which is why I was there. I swear I don’t think the woman had her license. Then I told her my hair took a while to lift, please don’t rinse too early because it will be a horrible shade of yellow. I need time to get through the yellow. She rinsed me anyway. The result? I LOOKED LIKE A CALICO CAT W/​ALL THE DIFFERENT COLORS AND ROOTS. I had my hair done much better at a Paul Mitchell school. It was HORRIFIC.
The salon itself is dirty. The fake wood/​laminate flooring is peeling. There is DUCT TAPE on parts of it. It’s unprofessional and dirty. Do not pay a dime and go there.
OH! PLUS! I called to see if I could come later than my 4:15 appt and was told NO that this woman doing my hair was booked. Fine I came at 4:15. Needless to say she started my hair at 5;15 so i guess I could’ve come an hour later.
I’m a stylist. This is the worst place I’ve ever been in or have experienced in my life.
NEVER EVER AGAIN.

Margarita is my girl. Nobody else touches my hair. Love her! Great place. I highly recommend this place.
