If I could give this PARTICULAR store a negative 10, I would. First of all I felt like I was all the sudden in the movie pretty women… I had plenty, PLENTY of money to spend. I just came into a very, very big sum of money and BCBG was where I wanted to go shopping first. I have to also say… I lived in NYC about 6 years ago and worked as the MAXAZRIA Specialist at the flagship store, when it was on 40th and 5th ave. So… there’s that. I have a certain style i like to wear and BCBG/Max Azria is really what I like. But Im really not sure after this awful experience, if I’ll wear it again. I walked into the store, granted I wasnt ALLDRESSEDUP to go shopping(who does that) but I wasnt«slumming» it either. The 2 girls that were«working» were glued to each other behind the register(most likely gossiping, does one get paid for that now??? Hmmmmm), meaning… I wasnt even«greeted» when i walked in. There were other people in the store, that WERE being«Helped». After making my way around the whole store, twice, I HADTOASK… where the Fall/Winter collection was. I only did this to see how well they would direct me(I was completely aggravated at this point), The girl who came over to me acted JUST like the women in the Pretty Women clip… and then said to me… well… if your looking for something black our sale rack is here… and walked off. WOW!!! WOW!!! Seriously? Its not as if this store had a «right» to be so arrogant… I mean Its not if they are YSL or Gucci! Ive worked in Luxury retail for the last 6 years and this was just the most horrendous customer service Ive ever experience. I mean one couldnt even consider BCBG«luxury».so why the attitude? I was about to lay down some serious $$$$ Instead I left with the nattiness taste in my mouth. Too bad for them and too bad for MAX(Azria). BTW way I was there first week of 12⁄2014.
