Love this store one of the best places to shop if you are a plus size. They need to have more in this area. IN SC THEY have one next to every Walmart ! LOVE CATO

I am rather torn with the rating; there were a lot of cute tops for a plus size gal like myself. Indeed I bought three blouses.
Unfortunately I didn’t go in to buy a blouse. I need bras. Considering the sign on the outside of the store says CATO PLUS. I thought they’d be ably to fit me. The largest bra they have is a 44D. That irritated me, hence why I wanted to rate them a 2
But the blouses are really cute and the sales gals were great and really went out if their way. The one sakes gal even called an associate who wasn’t working today to ask her where she buys her bras
So my next shopping trip will be Lane Bryant for bras. If I need more blouses I’ll come back here.

Big sizes require good taste
Despite being a somewhat average size currently, there was a time where I was quite… shapely…and had to venture into the wide world of plus sizes. And let me tell you, dressing in these sizes is really an art. Cato has some good stuff for bigger ladies, but unfortunately, a lot of thier stuff looks pretty dumpy too.
The Good:
Lots of basic colors: Any fashion-​conscious plus-​sized woman will tell you that solid colors are your friend, and patterns are the enemy. The good news here is that Cato has plenty of basic solid colors that are easy to mix and match
Price is right: Although regular stores tend to charge more for plus sized clothes, specialty stores tend to have a pretty low baseline price. Expect to pay about $ 25 for tops and $ 40 for bottoms.
The Bad:
Who would wear THAT?!?: Okay, so beside the solid colors, there is some truly icky stuff in here. All my plus size girls know that some clothes make you look hot (yes, it’s possible) and some clothes make you look FAT. And unfortunately I saw too many fat clothes here.
Cato is a grat place to shop for clothes, and they have lots of good choices, just make sure you watch out for the bad ones as well!
