Bad Doctor! Just got back from a Physical/1st appointment with Dr. Clement and was dismayed at how bad his bedside manner is. After an insincere smile to start the appointment… the Doctor barely looked at me while I described why I was there and what was bothering me as he scribbled notes. As he rolled his eyes with disinterest at one point, I asked, should I wait — are you getting this… to which he said, ‘yeah, I hear ya.’…then not 10 minutes later, he asked me if i had taken a certain test, to which I had already just explained to him I had the test 3 different times and the results of each time. The final straw was as I was asking him about my 3 pages of blood test results(which he skimmed for maybe 8 seconds before dismissing them with ‘all fine’). I tried to ask him about the comments on the report next to Cholesterol, to which he interrupted and said ‘I said it was fine!’. Then, as I started to ask him what it meant on the report where it said ‘high’, after about 4 or 5 words he interrupted me again abruptly saying, ‘look, I am not going to argue with you!’. For the first time in my life — I got up before the end of a doctor’s exam and had to leave before it was over. Now I know why the wait to see this guy was so short, even though he has been a doctor for several years… no one wants to go back to him. To say I was really disappointed with Dr. Robert Clement of Physicians Associates on University Blvd. in Orlando… would be an understatement. If you are looking for a new doctor… find anyone else but this guy. Apparently, he is disinterested and too busy for new patients.

Dr Clement seems very knowledgable. He has had a series of PA students in the past year. This annoys me because I have to give my symptoms/history twice. His office nods at modernity by using iPads and laptops but something still feels antiquated. I’ve been to him maybe 5 times and the average wait time is around 40 minutes, which is disappointing, and the reason for the 3 stars.
