All pricing is straight forward and best prices around. There are no refunds, but they spend a really good amount of time to help you find the perfect pair. Like them on facebook for a free bottle of glass cleaning liquid/​contact solution. They also do free adjustments if you buy their frames!

$ 79 exam for contacts and glasses is already a great deal but when you pair it with kind friendly knowledgable staff and a wide selection of designer frames then this place is just extraordinary. I will not hassle with any other optical place from now on. They really hooked me up no pressure to buy any add-​ons or upgrades but a great staff member that helped me find the perfect pair of frames that matched my face and my eyebrows! I’ve been getting glasses/​contacts since middle school so I’ve been to a lot of places and Ucf optical left me exceptionally pleased. My husband is coming here next and I will quickly recommend this place to family and friends.

Dr. John A. Clark is an amazing Optometrist. By far, the best eye exam I have ever had, with a complete workup including dilating the eyes to check for macular degeneration. It was also a good conversation as well. The environment is clean and fresh, and you can’t beat the price of $ 39 (untaxed) for glasses prescription and $ 79 (untaxed) for contacts and glasses prescription. However, beware of overzealous sales associates, Antonio nearly twisted my arm, figuratively speaking, trying to sell me on buying their glasses or buying their contacts. I politely responded and calmly listened to his spiel, all the while knowing that I neither had the funds-​available nor was currently interested in buying glasses from them, on that day. In fact, I had no plan on doing so before I even came in there. They did double/​triple-​team me for awhile explaing why the service is so great. It was entertaining a bit, but it was overly-​intense. Even going so far as to guilt-​trip me, solemly walking up to me and giving me a pamphlet pointing out that they have the cheapest price and to tell my friends and family. (even though I already knew that?) It didn’t fool me, and I know they’ve got to make their money too. But I could see how a young naieve timid college student could easily be made to feel stupid and get their arm-​twisted into buying from them. Anyways, great place, just have your guard up if you’re already decided on purchasing from somewhere else because they will press you, that’s their job. Oh, and one more thing, you do have to shell out $ 5 for parking if you aren’t a UCF student, so bare that in mind with the cost.

I LOVE the team in this office. I was a student at UCF and based on a recommendation from another student decided to give College Optical Express a try. I was super annoyed with my previous eye center and in desperate need of a better facility. They people in this office were attentive and quick. Their contact prices are cheaper than 1−800-contacts. They offer student discounts on glasses. There is usually a deal always going on in the store. They gave me two deals: (1) free lenses with the purchase of any frames; and (2) $ 75 in rebates for a year supply of contacts. I ended up saving well over $ 100 my first trip. I now sport BCBG glasses (which are always being complemented) and have only recently finished my first year of contacts. The best part is once you make a purchase you can pop into the store anytime and ask for a free bottle of contact solution. The second time I made a purchase at this store was when I was an alumni. I came back to buy another year supply of contacts. This time I only had a $ 50 rebate but they gave me the alumni discount on top of that. College Optical Express at UCF takes care of their customers and fellow Knights. I recommend them to anyone within a 10 mile radius.

I love these people! They give UCF employees and students a great deal on just about everything and they are super nice to boot. I had my contact lens exam done and was not charged any extra due to my astigmatism (which other places are known to do). I didn’t have to wait and the exam was quick and easy and not the usual drawn out nonsense I have come to expect. Then there is Antonio! He helped me pick out my new frames and he really has a good eye (no pun intended) for what looks good. I would have been there a hundred years looking and probably ended up getting something that would look stupid. Antonio had me try on a few different pairs and then told me honestly what he thought. He threw in a lot of little extras like rewetting drops and glass cleaner, things that Lenscrafters in my experience does not. (Mind you Lenscrafters has always been fine, just not stellar). I am super pleased with the service and selection here and I will not have any need to go anywhere else for my eyes!

Amazing staff, friendly attentive everything you would want!!! They want you to be happy with your glasses since they are going to be on your FACE! No hidden fees they tell it how it is. Prices are as good as it gets without insurance. You don’t have to be a student at UCF to get access. They have prices for every wallet because of their wide selection. Tony YOU ARE AWESOME, thank you so much for your patience. I will definitely will be coming back. Take a visit and you wont regret it.

I have been here twice now and overall, am very happy with both experiences.
My first time was to get new frames. I had compared prices elsewhere and this place is the cheapest I found for what I wanted and needed. I have horrible eyesight so my prescription calls for thinner lenses (or else I’d be wearing magnifying glasses on my face), which is definitely not cheap. I also got anti-​glare so I can take pictures confidently without having to do multiple re-​do shots.
My second and most recent time was for my annual eye check-​up and to order a new set of contacts. Dr. Clark was very thorough and friendly, I couldn’t ask for anything more from him.
The prices are as good as you can get without insurance; they’ll even work out payment plans with you if you cannot pay the entire amount in the same day. The staff is beyond excellent. You are treated so well here. Keep up the amazing work, we appreciate your services at UCF!
