A small neighborhood gym. I really enjoy walking over for a workout. The gym room has 4 treadmills, 2 stationery bikes and 2 stair stepper machines. There’s also Nautilus equipment and a set of free weights. In all my visits there have only been a handful of people. Most of the time it’s just one/two people or you have the place all to yourself! They have a tv with basic cable you can watch or a stereo to listen to. I usually just bring my phone and earbuds. I paid $ 63 for 6 months. I think it’s a great deal!

The gym is small, but the facility as a whole is well maintained. For the most part, the staff are nice, though a few can’t be bothered to say hi. For $ 9 a month, you couldn’t really ask for much more.

This is a public gym run by Orange County Recreation Department. It’s a good gym with your very basic equipment. The equipment includes 8 machine weights, 2 treadmills, 2 ellipticals and dumb bells from 5lbs up to 75lbs. If you lift more than that, this gym is not for you. It cost about $ 10 a month, less if pay for the whole year all at once. The only problem is the kids running around due to the YMCA after-school program. They mostly stay out of the way and in the other rooms. The college age staff couldn’t be friendlier! The only down side is that the AC/heat is controlled by someone in the downtown office so when it’s hot in December they still put on the heat at the gym and vice versa for AC.
