I have never felt so unwanted in a restaurant before. I was with a party of 6 and we waited to get sat because they said they do not seat on table availability but on the amount of staff in the kitchen. Which I thought was weird because it was a saturday night and you’d think the kitchen would be fully staffed but things happen I guess. Next, we finally get seated and was ignored for about a good 15 min. Servers and even the GM was walking by. The GM greeted all the tables around us but completely ignored our table. Finally get a server and he was really nice at first but once our food came out it was like he changed personalities quick. All of our food came out except for one person in our party and the GM asked what she had and the server pretty much argued that was not what she ordered. But the GM had the kitchen make her the correct order. After that, our server was very hostile towards us and never once seed us how we were doing and if we needed anything. Maybe it was just his off night but really didn’t appreciated our table being where he took out his frustrations on.

It’s 1 star solely because I can’t put 0. First, we walked in as a party of 5 at 7 pm. They were not busy at all. Granted they had a few large tops eating in the time we were there so I do understand being a little behind to accommodate. But honestly, this was awful! The service… was atrocious! We were never greeted by the host in fact he went out of his way to meander around doing other things but his job. My father finally stepped up to the podium and asked for seating. The host then seated some women who were waiting before us without acknowledging him. At this point I was ready to leave but my family insisted it couldn’t all be bad… by the time we got the check id won that argument. Our waiter took 20 min to take our drink order. Which he spilled all over the floor upon arrival. Then took another 10 trying to get new drinks of 2 teas and 3 waters. Second, The food was mediocre at best. Spent an hour and a half in one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve ever had. Management was stuck behind the bar making margaritas. Never made rounds to check on the tables. The food was cold and the waiter to make up for it brought us more salsa including leftovers from another table… gross. Will never be back!

Great service! however food lacks Tex Mex flavor. Chips are fresh and well flavored. Salsa better from bottle but not super fresh. Guacamole missing flavors like lime and cilantro, maybe some salt would help. The pico de Galo was balanced but not super fresh either. Veggie Fajitas was very good. Not 5 stars due to over cooked bell peppers and onions, but zucchini, squash, tomatoes and jalapeños were to tender perfection. Corn tortillas were tasty.

Best Mexican and service I have had in a long time! Fajitas were on point and everything came quickly even though it was busy. Fully recommend!

Over the course of the last two years, I have been to Don Pablo’s three times. All three times left me and my family satisfied with full bellies and the residue of divine Mexican food lingering in the back of our throats. The most recent visit was within a month ago, and our server, although loquacious and quite forgetful, was very nice and was bringing out samples of the food that was requested. He raved on about the future of the city and seemed to be a very considerate man. However, his forgetfulness made me a little irate, as I had to repeat our drink order at least twice and the meal order twice as well. It could have been way more efficient if he had written things down on a pad, as most waiters typically do. When my party first arrived, the restaurant was near empty. Immediately self-seated, although with no host or hostess spotted, we waited for about ten to fifteen minutes to be served. Additionally, the restaurant was out of crayons for the kids menu, leaving my kids disappointed. It took a decent time for the food to arrive, as we dined on chips while waiting. The warm crunch of a tortilla chip allowed our mouths to salivate, with toasty, creamy queso dip giving the chip the luscious waves of flavor it needed. Every individual had his or her own salsa dip, but the salsa was lukewarm at best and mediocre in taste. There was no kick to it. It was very mild. The portions of the meals were large, even a child’s quesadilla could have easily stuffed a full grown adult. The exquisite refried beans complements the flavorsome rice in a way that just make one feel cozy inside, as if sipping a toasty warm beverage, cuddled in a balmy blanket near the crackling fire pit while the vigorous icy winds howl out in the dreary winter night. The children all seemed to devour and enjoy their meals, and did not have any room for dessert. After the meal, the server made no indication on a dessert menu and immediately brought out the check. He continued prattling on, which only impelled me to get out of there quicker. Overall, a pleasurable dining experience, but with the garrulous service, there definitely is room for improvement.

Food court quality food and poor service. I guess you cannot expect much from strip mall Mexican.

Definitely worth a pass. Much better food to choose from in the area, please don’t waste your time. Slightly above mediocre, below average. Not anything special by any means. Only plus is the service was polite and timely(for the most part).

Did not like the pre made /microwaved food. The beans tasted like they came straight from a can, guac tastes like plastic. Staff seems lazy and annoyed I did not see one smile from any employee. Ohh and watch out for dirty restrooms. If some one gave me a gift card from here I would throw it away.

I used to enjoy this place but the service and quality have gone down tremendously. We never got refills and the food was extremely greasy or undercooked. Unfortunately this will be my last visit to a once favorite stop.

My guy and I went here last night for dinner. Maybe this is because we’re used to Seattle’s lack of good tex-mex(or mexican, or south american) cuisine, but we really had a good time here. This was his second dinner here, my first. We had the fajitas and green chile carnitas enchiladas. Both dishes were tasty, and really more food than we could eat(yay leftovers!). The salsa was meh, but we asked for spicy salsa and they brought out some deliciousness that had chopped jalapeños in it. Yum! The fresh chips on the table are unsalted, which is nice(for personalizing to our own tastes). The tortillas for the fajitas were definitely homemade– thicker than store-bought, smaller, and not a uniform shape. Just like I make ‘em back home! Everything was delicious. The service was fantastic– our waiter came by the visually check on us several times, without interrupting our conversation; the hostess was hilarious; the bartender came by(he was my man’s waiter the night before). Oh, and the margaritas are HUGE. Not hugely strong, but enormous of size, which is apparently a thing in the restaurants around the convention center.

This was our first visit suggested from our friends from Deltona and what a great suggestion it was. I had a combo platter and my wife had all you can eat taco Tuesday and the food was excellent. No it’s not authentic Mexican cuisine but it’s very good and the best part was the sweet cornbread. Very tasty and our server was very attentive and I don’t know why this place was not busy and or why there isn’t a higher rating on this restaurant? Definitely will return on our next visit. Another great reason to visit is our hotel was directly in walking distance behind this restaurant. Great experience and thanks!

Don Pablo’s has been one of my favorite chain Mexican restaurants, unfortunate they have struggled over the past few years. I stopped here for some fajitas when I was in Orlando for the weekend. The tortillas are still awesome, the rest not so much, the chicken had a strange texture, hard to describe, it made me nervous to eat. I sat at a table in the br Ana d my server was the bartender, he did a great job, very attentive…

Not sure why this is not a 5 star on Unilocal! My food is always great! I get the steak fajitas and perfect every time! The guacamole is the best I’ve had in town! Ignore the cranky reviews and go! You will not be disappointed

My(gluten-free) friend and I came here for a take out dinner. This place has decent TexMex. Very typical, run-of-the-mill Mex. This location is very convenient to the hotels so if you’re craving enchiladas or fajitas go for it. The do have a few gluten-free options and it wasn’t hard for my friend to find something for dinner. We sat at the bar to wait for our food… I would have preferred a more attentive bartender as he never asked if we wanted drinks or chips while we waited for our dinner(took about 25 minutes) to be cooked. I eventually was able to order a margarita. I will return in the future if invited by friends. Unfortunately, with all of the other delicious options in town, I won’t be recommending this restaurant to others.

We were greeted by one of the managers then promptly seated… Our waitress was AWESOME very attentive and not intrusive at all!!! Squeezarita is one of the best margaritas you can ever have, do yourself a favor order a border dip it is their signature appetizer and is soooooo good you won’t regret it unless you have cero tolerance to spicy food!!! The Presidente was great, kids burgers are not your typically small burger they can satisfy any adult and they are really good. Restaurant was not Packed so waited about 5 minutes for our appetizer and 10 for entrees after we received the border dip… manager did stop by to ask about our experience and I did say«PERFECT»

We went on June 30, 2015. The waitress was great, super friendly brought extra chips and salsa on her own and had a great attitude. Chips were decent. Salsa was jar type and not fresh pico style many other Mexican places are doing nowadays. In our minds salsa can make or break a place. The fajita wrappers were amazing. The margarita was great since it was the kind from a tap machine so no ice chunks get in the straw. The fajita was weak. Chicken wasn’t great and onions were barely cooked. The rice was dry and of little taste. We were not overly impressed. Not as good as the good old days. Would we go back? Not on vacation, maybe if we lived nearby.

As a native Texan I don’t expect much from Mexican food outside of Texas but I’ve been pleasantly surprised by several places in the Orlando area. And Don Pablo’s being a Texas chain and it having a great location I thought it would at least be decent. It wasn’t. It was hands down the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had and I’ve had it all over the world. Even if someone didn’t know about tex mex it’s still just bad food. One star is generous. Everything about this place was pure hell. If it weren’t for the the location there is no way they would stay in business. I used to enjoy eating at DP back home. I think this must be a franchise or something
