It was pretty good for a different kind of night out. The crew was really nice. Everyone we talked to were outgoing and so pleasant. The show isn’t something I would say one definitely has to see, but it was a fun experience.

Good concept, but, the dancers were mediocre at best. Seriously, don’t waste your money. You’re better off spending the $ 10 cover fee to get onto Señor Frog next door and watching the crowd dance. To the DRIP management– FINDBETTERDANCERS?

Drip is a place where the performers get to interact with the audience. The is played by a live band. The dancers are talented and full of energy. This is an adult playground where you can get paint all over your body and create designs on your clothes. I really enjoyed my time there, and I would do it again.

DRIP brings color to the local art scene. I mean that quite literally. As a life-long dancer and someone who is heavily interested in the arts, I’m always looking for exciting and different things on the Orlando art scene. I first stumbled upon DRIP when I was deciding what to get a friend for her birthday. As I was browsing Groupon, the deal for DRIP jumped out at me, so I started looking into them more. I was intrigued by what I saw so I ended up purchasing the Groupon and taking my friend to DRIP for her birthday. The experience was stellar. What an amazing show all around! The setup is in a warehouse-like building on I-Drive. The front room houses a bar where you can purchase colorful drinks. The atmosphere and décor is very artsy — chalkboards everywhere you can doodle on, paint splatter, etc. Very eclectic. Very cool. The show starts almost our of nowhere. Girls who are among the crowd get up on the bar and start dancing and throwing paint everywhere. And when I say they are dancing on the bar, I mean they are actually dancing on the bar. Not raunchy club dancing, but legitimate beautiful modern dance. You can tell they have training. Eventually another door opens and the crowd is ushered into a back room and told to stand in a large circle around the center of the dance floor. This is where the real performance takes place. I don’t want to give anything away. You’ll need to experience it for yourself. But I will say it was an amazing show! Be prepared to get covered in colorful paint and sand. :) After the show a live DJ takes the stage and the place turns into an artsy bar /nightclub. Everyone is free to dance as they please. You can doodle around the bar with paint and chalk. And you can talk directly with the dancers. A really cool experience. I definitely recommend this for a unique and fun night out with the girls. I will be back, for sure.

5 Stars for an incredibly enjoyable local art experience! And since no one has mentioned it yet on here– it gets a tad messy. I had been hearing about DRIP for years and seen them at festivals, but finally had a chance to check out a full show at their warehouse. As the name suggests(and the pictures, and the reviews, and the website), you should wear clothes that can get dirty. Whites are good because they glow under the black light and you’ll leave with some tie-dye! But you’re not just going so you can get splattered with paint, right? It’s really all about the dancing, the storyline, and the live music. I caught their Halloween Underground Vampire Bar so the show had a bloody twist! A vampire love triangle? Mhm. A blood shower? Oh yeah. The dancers were spirited and totally committed to their roles. I expected exciting choreography but was taken aback by the intensity of the plot– these dancers can act! And the backing music was really good! It played perfectly with the scenes and made me feel like I’d walked straight into a badass horror movie. The drinks aren’t anything to write home about, but you didn’t come for the drinks. It’s all about the show and the atmosphere and DRIP has atmosphere for days! This is what happens when artists collaborate, see past barriers in their way, and work hard to see a dream fulfilled. And it is just another thing to add to my list of reasons to love this city. Can’t wait to take my friends and out-of-town guests!

Pretty good time. If you want something different and don’t mind getting wet and messy then this is for you. Dancers(ballet maybe…) acted out a scene while a live band played rock music. DJ played top 40’s after the performance. To sum it up dancers throwing water, paint, and sand while acting out a scene. Don’t wear anything you don’t won’t to get wet or colored. Something you should at least try once if you are in town. Wish I would’ve known… get there 10 – 20 min before the show so you can cut and design your drip tshirt. They also run out of sizes so get there early if your picky. Not all paint comes out of clothes you’ve been warned.

I took a date here because I thought it was something she would really enjoy. As it turns out, on the way she told me she had a bucket list on her bathroom mirror of things she wanted to do in Orlando, as it turns out, Drip was one of them! You do have to pay $ 5 for parking, which is kinda annoying, but the experience was great! Drip takes place in a warehouse just off I-Drive, if you didn’t know it was there, you would never see it. when you walk in, there is a bar, a place to get your shirt and have it custom cut, a paint station, and an oxygen bar. The show begins around 9ISH(emphasis on ISH). It was a very enjoyable performance, though very adult, they offer all ages shows once in a while, but i wouldn’t recommend it for anyone under 16. Keep in mind to dress accordingly, you will get wet!

Had a really good time. Wish there was more than beer to drink and more people to cut shirts. But tge staff was friendly and the show was unique and interactive.

My wife and I went to drip last night(4÷4÷15). We have been looking for something new and unusual to do for quite a while. We found what we’ve been looking for at Drip. I don’t want to give any of the show away, but they found the perfect way to merge art, music, dance together and then they went further. They take that and totally immerse the audience into their performance. If I could give one bit of advice, that would be to embrace the paint and water. Don’t avoid it. Be part of the excitement. Not only is the show fantastic, the people you meet before, during, and after the show, are people just like you. Adventurous, fun-loving, people looking for a new way to have fun. Open minded people are always the best and that’s what Drip attracts.

My wife and I went on a date with another couple the other night and had a phenomenal time! When we arrived, I wasn’t sure what to expect. We got our T-Shirts as part of the living social deal we bought and then had fun throwing paint on each other at the«color station» they have set up. Since we were there early, we decided that grab a few drinks. They have a pretty decent selection of craft beer and they also have colored beer that they pour out of a tap they have. Also, my wife decided to get her T-shirt customized with different cuts and shapes from the shirt artist they had there. Then, the show began, and much to my surprise, the bartenders were the performers! Without giving away too much, I’ll just say we had a great time! Just be prepared to be splashed with water, fingerpaint, and beer, haha! Overall, this was a great experience. I’d highly recommend checking this place out! Also, be aware that it is paid parking here. $ 5.00

Went on a double date last night to DRIP on International Drive. First off, I try and avoid I-drive like the plague but I had heard great things about this place and used a living social deal so … I was pretty pumped! I bought the four ticket deal that comes with shirts :) I would suggest waiting for a living social or groupon deal whenever possible… they come out quite frequently. Make sure to wear clothes you don’t mind getting paint/dirt/beer/etc. on.(yes, beer) They do sell shirts there(that’s what I got) and even have a shirt cutting station where you can have someone customize your shirt for $ 5. I did this! My shirt was soooo cute and had fringe and details on the back. I am not a fan of crew neck shirts so as soon as they cut that off I was a happy camper. There’s also a paint station where you can paint yourselves(and others) before the show. Go ahead and get messy. You won’t avoid it. They sell all types of adult drinks that are pretty fun. Of course I had to get the colored beer. :) I got red. They also have blue, orange and yellow. It’s just a light beer. No worries. If you get lucky they may hand out free beer shots before the show(wink). The show itself is pretty great… just keep in mind it is pretty adult. Two people brought their kids to my show and all I could think about was the talk the parents would have to give them on their way back to their hotel(I assume they were tourists…) I don’t want to give away too much of the show… but it’s well done and the dancers are very good at what they do. Bravo to them! Also, gotta love the band! The music really does make this show(VERY Blue Man Group style…) All in all it’s fantastic and you’ll have a great time. do it!

Enjoyed the show and atmosphere :) Came for a night of something different and was definitely impressed. They have a little tshirt fashionista who will cut up your shirt before the show. You can paint your self and friends before the show. Great selection of drinks at the bar, no liquor though

We bought tickets so that we wouldn’t do the typical dinner/drinks anniversary night. What a great change! It was 21+ and there were more«mature» patrons than expected. VERY nice change. The music is electrifying, the story is SO real. From a art/color perspective, this hit all the right notes. My husband didn’t like that they don’t have liquor, just beer and wine. I was perfectly happy with my Stiegl Radler and blue mimosa. I’m already planning my next trip. If you can. go! And don’t skimp, get their shirt, paint it, cut it… have fun!

Drip is one of the few things along I-Drive that is actually worth being on I-Drive for. Some people ding it for the location, and granted, getting there is a real pain because of the traffic. But don’t hate the location too much, because if it was downtown or somewhere else more accessible to locals, you’d have to get your tickets months in advance. The website states that the show starts«a little after 9pm». Don’t expect it to start at exactly 9pm, because it just doesn’t. If you’re the type that can’t stand things running late, I’d suggest planning a 30 – 45 minute buffer into your evening. Everyone else has already said so much about the show that I can safely assume you’ve already got the gist of it. Well maybe most people; apparently one thing does need to be repeated(I’m looking at you, «One Star Because I ‘Just Spent a Ton of Money on My Hair and Now It’s Messy’»), so straight from the Drip website: — There are no splash zones because the entire building is considered a splash zone. — Dress Down(jeans, t-shirt and flip-flops/sneakers are great) and assume you will get wet and painty. I recommend hitting the paint bar to get yourselves messy before the show even starts. It puts you in «mess mode» and it’s fun to fling paint on your friends. You can grab a plastic bag or two to keep your belongings dry(highly recommended), and they have CSI-like booties if you don’t want to mess up your shoes(better idea: just wear ratty shoes!). The drinks could be better(or at least cheaper), $ 7 for a rum & coke in a tiny plastic cup is just too much. But that’s really the only complaint I can come up with. The show itself is amazing, and after having seen it twice, I’d have no problem going to see it a third time. It’s unique, beautiful, and so entertaining that the 50-minute show feels like 15 minutes.

I don’t think Drip is located in the best area of Orlando. I think it would do far better closer to where locals hang out rather than tourists. As a local, I avoid I-Drive at all costs. I also think it’s overpriced. The show is nice and all, but you pay extra for drinks and it’s less than an hour of entertainment. That being said, I think it’s a cool idea. The intimate setting combined with live rock music and messy things spilling on you is novel and fun. The colors really do wash out, you guys.

What an interesting experience. I probably would never have thought of going to this show, but there was an Orlando Weekly deal for half off, which I couldn’t pass up. When you first get there you are put into a room with a bar where you can order colored beer among many other things, and a table at the end of the room with different colored paints and brushes. You are encouraged to get messy the second you get there. My friends and I decided that was a great idea and headed straight to the paint table. We splattered each other with paint everywhere and had an absolutely great time doing it! That was actually our favorite part of the entire evening. As we were hanging out near the bar, loud music started to play, the plastic walls leading to the other room were taken down, and people started dancing around on the bar top and around the room and pouring colored beer down people’s mouths. The show then gravitated to the other room where more dancing took place, plenty of colored water was thrown around, sand, and paint. The story line was basically a woman and a man fighting over the same woman who they both had a love interest in. It was very entertaining and interesting. The show ended with a water balloon fight that required audience participation. It was great. The paint comes off of your body and out of your hair easily. Wear clothes you might not want anymore and bring a towel for your car in case any of you is still wet when you leave.

DIGIT! Their website and twitter are @ILoveDrip and I do, I love Drip! Where to start? I have seen drip perform in the past at other Orlando events and as part of creative events around town but with their new home on I-Drive, it’s a whole different experience. Will you get wet? YES! Will you have a blast? YES! Will you want to dance and party throughout the night after experiencing this? YES Have you ever witnessed art like this before? No! Do you want to miss this show? NO! Go, Now! You definitely see art come alive during this show. It is set in an industrial warehouse set off of I-Drive, it’s right near Howl at the Moon. When you arrive, you don’t really know what to expect as it’s very low key. You roll up to the bar and enjoy beer or wine. There is colored beer that goes along with the theme of the show, and you can choose from orange, yellow, red or blue! This all ties into the story behind the show as well. Make sure you are choosing the right side =) While you are enjoying drinks at the bar with your friends, some interesting peeps start mixing and mingling along the bar and then BAM! Show starts how you least expect it. I won’t give too much away so you are surprised but if you are sitting at the bar, you will get drenched. No worries though, all the colors come out of your clothes when you wash but if you do plan on going somewhere after, wear a poncho or bring a change of clothes. But if you wear white, it kinda makes your clothes look THAT much more awesome. When the show starts, it moved you from the bar area to a side area where the live band is set. The fixtures are all moveable as this show is extremely interactive and all the players involved have various roles. I was not expecting there to be such a deep story with the show but it really added to the experience more. You found yourself surprised and actually feeling for each character. I was blown away by the props and usage of the entire space. After the show you get to chat with the dancers/actors and you really can tell they just adore being part of this experience. This is something everyone can tell you about but something you have to experience for yourself to get the true overall feeling. It’s a great deal to, only $ 29-$ 35 so don’t wait to hear all the talk about it, go experience it for yourself. Thur/Fri/Sat at 8pm. Support your local arts and culture community.
