Duff’s Brewery

The bartender was friendly enough and the beer tasted good and the bar offers a nice viewing area to watch people preparing to go on Simpsons the ride and throwing their money away in Krustyland. I guess if you have enough of Duff’s beer you don’t mind paying $ 6 per person to try your hand at a carnival game.

Along with all the other great things Universal Studios has brought to real life from the TV show, Duff Beer is probably the most recognizable and sought after product.
The assumption I initially made when seeing the beer taps at a few places in the Simpsons area was that Duff Beer was probably just a re-​branded Budweiser or the like. The beer is actually brewed by Florida Beer Company, a craft brewer. So good on Universal being such a massive company to support a local Florida company.
I enjoyed the beer, giving it a 3.5÷5 on Untappd. I was there at the end of November so it wasn’t overly hot but it was refreshing to sit in Moe’s tavern and enjoy a good beer after walking around the park for a few hours.

You can sit back and watch The Simpsons on their T.V.‘s around the bar, or just watch the crowds go by. It’s always cooler hanging out by the bar, this is due to the many fans they have and being right next to the water.
When we’ve gone before there were only 3 beers available — 2 on tap (regular Duff, Duff Lite), and 1 in a bottle Duff Dry, a stout). Today they added on Dufftoberfest beer as well. They also have the Flaming Moe, sodas, and a few other drinks (frozen margaritas) and hot dogs.
The beers are just rebranded to be «Duff», maybe with a touch of difference, nothing a craft beer lover is after. It’s a nice spot to kick back for a few minutes and the back side of the bar is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the street in the Simpon’s area.

What can you say? It is exactly what it should be. It’s a fun place to stop for a beer in a Simpson’s themed environment. The selection is extremely limited and never changes: Duff, Duff Lite & Duff Dry. Duff Dry is the clear winner in my book but I’m not mad at the others. It’s not like you are going to spend all day hanging out here. You stop, you enjoy a few beers, maybe take a few pictures and proceed with your day at Universal Studios. I’m glad they have spots like this and the Harry Potter themed bars.

After watching the Simpsons for so many years and watching Homer drink Duff, it was fun to be able to join him and try some of the Duff stuff myself!
I first tried Duff when I was eating across the street in Moe’s tavern. You can get Duff, Duff light and Duff Dry. To me, it all tasted like Budweiser… and very generic beer that anyone will drink. Duff light is just that… a lighter version of Duff. Duff Dry is a stout and reminded me of a Guinness… aka, a meal in a cup.
The Duff Brewery is now open and is a open air bar. They offer walk up service as well as lots of seating around the bar. They offer other drinks including the Flaming Moe, Slushy type drinks, very long and large hot dogs, snack and such. I find it a nice place to stop on a hot day to enjoy a beer and watch all the crazy people in theme parks.
The service can be a bit slow depending on how busy they get. You might get a beer faster if you go into Moe’s or in the food court area inside Moe’s. Either way, grab a Duff and enjoy!

Located inside Universal Studios Orlando, this is the iconic Simpson’s brand beer, Duff’s. The small open air bar is adjacent to Krustyland, the Simpson’s ride.
There are three Duff’s beers available, the original, lite, and dry. You can also get some other Simpson’s land specialties including the «Flaming Moe» which is a non alcoholic drink, cherry flavored «Buzz Cola», and the «Squishee» which is like a slurpee. I tried the Fanta White Cherry Squishee. Not sure if it was the hot weather, but that was so good!
Like most theme parks, the drinks here are at premium prices and you can also leave a tip for the Duff’s bartenders. There is also a lot of Duff’s merchandise for Simpson’s fans.
