The place is beautiful, it’s calm and the people are incredebly nice and helpful. Sadly the food is poor quality and reheated. We went as a group of ten and not a single person enjoyed their dinner fully. I ordered a medium well ribeye and it came comepletely dry and burnt as well as cold. The food… Not the best considering the prices.

The service was incredible but the food left a lot to be desired. My friend and I ordered small personal pizza. They were on the level of microwave pizzas. Very weak soft crust, bland sauce and toppings. And for some ungodly reason they put mayo on mine.

I came here with a fun group, we sat in the back patio covered area. They bring you bread-hard as a brick to start… no bueno, had I thrown it at the window like I was tempted to do I would have broke it. The cast iron corn bread we ordered made up for it YUM! Appetizers-we shared the bar-b-que shrimp, and the short ribs… oh so tasty! Our Chinese friend said the ribs reminded him of Asian ribs… he loved them! Main entrée I had the shrimp and grits a must try, mouth watering, so full of flavor! I can’t remember what the rest of my group had… perhaps you can identify by looking at the picture. I’m Creole and a BIG fan of Emeril so this was definitely a treat for me, the shrimp and grits reminded me of my family’s cooking back in Louisiana. Note: This location is inside of the Universal City walk so Valet parking is around $ 45.

Came here for my college graduation last night(5÷15÷2016) with my friends and family… About 15 people… Food was amazing, the restaurant was amazing, staff were amazing… Only thing I didn’t like is that we had to leave when we were done!

I am a little torn here. I want to give four stars because — service. Impeccable service and it was super lax after a day at Universal Studios having a blast, it was so nice and relaxing. My drink was slammin. I had a bourbon based cocktail from their crafted cocktail list. My husband’s sazerac was overly absinthe flavored… but that didn’t impact MY experience much ;) I watched Emeril on TV growing up in LA… I think I had higher expectations for the food than maybe i should have. Meh… I was underwhelmed. I had the duck — it just wasn’t amazing and the collards were weird and overly sweet. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing — I’d give it another chance.

A small group of friends and I dined here to celebrate a birthday, and our overall impression was not great. We arrived early to take advantage of the more manageable drink prices during happy hour, which were alright. I had two drinks and while they were good, they were nothing special. I’m glad I didn’t pay top dollar for either of them. Our food took forever to come out for every course, the 4⁄5 of us had apps, we all had entrée and dessert. Unfortunately our entrees were dropped on their way up the stairs to us, a crash we could hear from the dining room we were in. While they did offer us free dessert to make up for the incident, most of us wished they had just modified our bills instead since it took well over half an hour to get the dessert. The salad I ordered hooked me with its description of having avocado dressing, but I didn’t taste any hint of avocado at all, so I essentially overpaid for a Cesar salad. My friend said components from her entrée and app were not made as written in the menu either. I was exceptionally underwhelmed by the short ribs I got. They were dry, and the portion of meat was not what I was expecting for over $ 35. I’ve had far better food for the same or less money at several Disney restaurants. These short ribs tasted like something I could have made in the crock pot at home, only what I made wouldn’t have been dry. All five of us were not impressed by our entrée, a real shame when you consider how expensive they were. We all got something different and everything we tried did not meet our expectations. Or servers were hard to get a hold of, and seemed very unhappy about having to split the check for us. We all work in food service for Disney, so we know what to expect from a restaurant. We know that the kitchen being behind wasn’t our servers fault, and that dropped food happens. I personally was very disappointed by my dining experience because I simply don’t have the money to go out, and this very expensive evening was a splurge I regret. In total it took over two and a half hours for us to eat here, and it was our mutual opinion that it was not worth it. I definitely won’t be back, and would recommend that if you want some good short ribs, go to Citricos at Disney.

There are lots of famous chefs. And there are real chefs. The food is always amazing and I will have to say I come back here for the banana cream pie no matter what city I happen to come into an emerils. Go here!

Bam! What a BIG disappointment. First off — sign said happy hour was 530 – 730. We go inside. Table for four. Sit down to order and ask about happy hour. «That’s only at the bar,» the waiter said. «What kind of drinks do they have at the bar,» I said. «I don’t know, I don’t work at the bar,» he said — albeit in a nice tone. Bread was cold when it came to the table. Not not warm — cold. Appetizer — fried green tomatoes — served with chilled shrimp. I’ve had better at Sonics. Seriously. Waiters don’t carry straws in their aprons — absolute bush league. But one did have an ice cube in her pocket. I’m not making that up. Grouper was decent but I’d only give it 3 stars. Could be a threat to outrank Captain Ds on a good night there. And they have plenty of straws. Finally their«signature» dessert is a banana cream pie. Actually, it’s a stiff banana pudding made with jello pudding mix served in a pie shape. Bam. I had two trips here in one. My first and my last. Save your money. Go someone where else. Bam.

The food was awesome! We had 2 appies and a soup, 2 entrees, the same 2 cocktails, and 1 Dessert. Honestly, all were sooo good! And the service was the best! Everyone involved was so chipper– from our waiter to the busboys. You should deff check this place out!

Here is a helpful tip — do not, I repeat, do NOT plan to visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter any time between Christmas and New Year’s. We went on December 29th, which was the busiest day of the entire year, and it totally ruined the experience. The place was in complete chaos — it was not clear where lines began, what the lines were for — rides, restaurants, and restrooms had mind and back-numbingly long lines. That being said, I was delighted to see Emeril’s restaurant as we were on our way out of the park. To my even greater pleasure, though the area was crowded(the«City Walk,» or «Promenade,» or whatever the Universal Studios equivalent of Downtown Disney is called), we were able to be seated right away. The service was surprisingly good, considering that the kitchen and waitstaff had been slammed all day, and undoubtedly had to deal with grumpy amusement-park goers from open to close. I ordered the seasonal special — the Strawberry Spinach Salad. At $ 16, it was a good price, though the portion was a little lighter than I was expecting. The flavor was fantastic, but I could tell that there was a whole lot of salt and oil used, which kind of defeated the purpose of ordering a salad in the first place. The side of grilled asparagus I ordered, however, was fresh, delicious, and satisfying. My husband ordered the Veggie Plate — which was essentially a pasta-less lasagna, made by layering vegetables, cheese, and sauce. The sauce was flavored nicely, but the vegetables were memorably below average. It WAS highly entertaining to hear dinner guests sporadically yell«BAM!!» when their plates were delivered, the way Emeril would yell when putting salt, or «Essence» on a dish. I feel like that might be something lost on younger generations. :)

On 2nd thought this is a 2 star experience due to the missed expectations and cause we paid for it! The braised short rib beef on mashed potatoes was just okay. No way can one justify the $ 34.00 price for this plate of food. Not even cause we’re at Universal… Not the big Emeril deal as hoped, expected and wanted! The Caesar salad was nothing special other than the $ 8 price also. The cubed croutons were a dusty texture when chewed, not crunchy; odd really and no distinctive flavor. Creamy avocado dressing kinda makes calling this a Caesar salad sorta BS no? No shaved Parmesan, just romaine lettuce with dressing served by a very pleasant waiter. Now I liked the flavors in the crayfish bread, but the bread was borderline soggy. Another $ 10 appetizer that didn’t make me a happy place in Emeril’s Place. The 2– Byron Chard. wine bottles at the table kept my tude tempered and fortified my sorely needed DGAS attitude with gracious exit. Server #10201 was pleasant, knowledgeable and attentive. He was the other aspect that kept this experience from just crashin’ n burnin’.(the wine was the other) Oh the bread and butter brought to the table was worthless and left uneaten by three out of 4 diners. Texture was mealy and tasteless and the butter is snow white and tasted well, like n-o-t-h-i-n-g. D-O-N-E

Came upon this as it didn’t have an hour wait. Was seated pretty quickly and greeted immediately. The first server brought us our drinks, second server brought us bread and the third server took our food order. That got a bit confusing as having three servers was a bit much, however the service was amazing because of it. guess it was a good thing! All three servers were very kind and knew the menu really well. One suggested the Salmon and he was on point with that suggestion. I had the veggie pasta and I pretty much cleaned my plate. Can’t beat pasta with olive oil/garlic sauce. It’s light and yummy. I will definitely be back to enjoy another very delicious meal with the amazing service of three!

I am officially a fan of Emeril! We started with the braised sakura pork belly appetizer. This was the least favorite dish of my meal but by no means bad. The pork could have been more tender but the lightly sour sauce it was served with was good. It also came with some fried dough, which I thought didn’t go well with the pork. For entrée, we ordered the double cut pork chop and the andouille crusted drum. Both met our high expectations for this restaurant. I thought the drum fish was better because the pork was slightly dry. I also really liked the texture of the drum, crispy on the outside while the inside melted in my mouth. I would recommend ordering medium rare or rare(we ordered medium) for the pork to be juicier. Both dishes had amazing sauces but I had no clue what they were. And then we made the worst mistake of the night, ordering only one banana cream pie! I don’t even like banana cream pies but this was one of the best desserts I’ve had. From the crust, to the chunks of banana, and the large dark chocolate curls on top, it was heavenly. Service was top notch, although the fine dining experience made me feel slightly awkward. I’m too used to eating in Asian restaurants where etiquette is non existent.

11⁄20 — We had reservations for 5:30pm but, unfortunately we were unable to make the reservation so we had to cancel. We did however end up just walking in and sitting at the bar. They were pretty busy on a Friday night. We were able to get 1 seat at the bar which was fine. To our surprise they had a Happy Hour menu until 6:30 p.m. Five dollar($ 5) glasses of white and red wine. We ordered the Cabernet from California 2012, and it was delicious. They also had some smaller plates on happy hour. We ordered the NEWORLEANSBARBECUESHRIMP, Florida white shrimp, petite rosemary biscuit. It only came with 3 medium size shrimp. The sauce was a bit spicy but really good. The biscuit was a little dry. We also ordered the EMERIL’S SALAD, farm grown lettuces, sun dried tomatoes, brioche croutons, pepper jack cheese, extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar($ 9). It was plenty salad, my favorite was the sun dried tomatoes, they were fresh and the croutons just melted in your mouth. I wish we would of had a proper dinner here but will definitely be back. The Happy Hour at their Bar was worth it. Great service as well.

I had one of the best ahi tuna ceviche I’ve ever had here. It was during HH so we got a little bit of a discount. My guy got guacamole and it was so delicious as well. I can even say the best I’ve had. I decided on wine and I got Chardonnay which I normally don’t like but it was tasty. The waitress was chatting up with us a lot too. All very friendly and professional!

My mom and I had a super nice dinner here right before we left Orlando. I had no idea what to expect because it is inside a theme park after all. But we were so, so pleasantly surprised by everything at Emeril’s. First off, the service was top notch. From the hostesses, to the waiter to the busboy to the bartenders, everyone was professional and happy. It didn’t take us long to settle on our meals. I got the bbq salmon with crispy onions on top. My mom got the short ribs. She said her ribs were so tender, you could cut ‘em with a fork! My salmon was close to perfection. I would have loved a little more juiciness, but the mixture of flavors between the spiciness of the andouille sausage and sweetness of the bbq sauce was mouth-watering. Another plus: they also allowed us to bring our drinks in from Citywalk. Score! The special that night was if you bought 2 entrees you either got a free appetizer or dessert. Naturally, we picked the dessert and got key lime pie. I’m not a huge fan so I can’t speak on it too much, buuuut my mom loved it. As you can see, we are fans of Emeril’s and I dare say it is probably the best food in City Walk!

This restaurant was amazing! The wait staff were perfect! Fast but not to fast, attentive but not annoying and very helpful. We had two appetizers, wild mushroom and BBQ shrimp. The shrimp was an amazing, ranked 10 out of 10! The mushrooms were great but a bit spicy do they get a 8 out of 10. We then shared the short rib entrée, it was so flavorful and tender! And the food was the perfect temperature! We have this a 10 out of 10 as well. But by far the show stopper was the banana cream pie we had for dessert. We gave that a 15 out of 10 it was so good that we were sad when we had eaten it all and wanted more despite the fact that we were stuffed. They even added a special message on the plate for us as we were celebrating our honeymoon. We sat next to two groups of fairly fussy and particular people. We never once saw either our waiter or water service women even so much as frown or seem put out by them in any manner. Overall fantastic restaurant!!!

My hubby and I stayed at the Lowes Pacific Resort and were constantly at City Walk. We wanted to have one nice dinner and since we were leaving the park, we decided it would be easier and faster to goto this location instead of the one at our hotel. We made reservations and walked over to the restaurant about 30 mins before our reservation. The hostess was kind enough to seat us early. As we walked in, we were getting tons of stares from people since we literally came from the park. Yes, we were wearing shorts, t-shirts, sneakers, etc. What did you expect??? The restaurant is smack in the middle of two amusement parks. Give us a break people! Anyhow, we were seated right by the window and had a great seat to people watch from. Lol! We started off with the Tuna Poke«Bam Bam» and wow, this was actually refreshing and I really enjoyed it. The tuna is placed on a thick sheet of nori and the flavors just blended together. I had the Braised Creekstone Farms Beef Short Ribs and man, this was to die for. The ribs were fall of the bone, rich in flavor, and went well with the truffled mashed potatoes(I’m obsessed with truffle anything so that’s why I chose this plate). This was the best decision ever!!! My hubby had the filet mignon and had ordered his steak medium and it came out well done. Luckily the meat was still tender, but a just a tad over cooked. We finished off dinner with the banana cream pie and man, that sucker is huge! Make sure you buy only one to share. It was good, but nothing I would die to to eat again. The service was good and the décor was nice. I would visit again.

4 Stars for really noteworthy service and dishes that had us licking our plates. I was at City Walk for a show and we ended up at Emeril’s around 8pm. The wait for a table was almost an hour so we took a chance and found seats together at the bar(where food is also served). When the bartenders found out we’d be dining there they cleared our bartop and set white napkins down to mimic the table linens at the regular tables– a really nice touch! We ordered drinks and moved on to happy hour small plates for apps. The truffle fries were wonderfully thin and crisp. I finished them off on my own. We also got the shrimp cocktail small plate which came with only 4 shrimp played beautifully. A small plate indeed! But we each got a shrimp and my friends and I had nothing back to say about dem tasty shrimp! For my main dish I went with the Chef’s Creative Vegetable Plate of the Day. I wasn’t sure at first but a woman near me ordered it and I saw it was heaping with delicious veggies. When my own plate came I was stoked to find red and green bell peppers, sautéed mushrooms, a fried greasy tomato, some eggplant, corn on the cob, and asparagus. Banana Cream Pie topped off our meal. The slice was insanely big and looked absolutely heavenly. Luckily, the granola crust and the fine chocolate pieces on top add some depth taking . Overall, I was impressed and plan on returning!
