We came here for our breakfast buffet The server Nothing special about it. Ordinary service The food selection not as many as golden corral and taste were ordinary. Nothing to rave about. You miss nothing if you skip it The location It is located strategically. Parking is easy The atmosphere better than golden corral. But a basic set up for breakfast

I use to love Sizzlers when growing up. My school use to give out free kids meal coupons for good grades. Then next thing I knew all the Sizzlers in my area closed up. So when I saw that there was a Sizzlers on the way to Halloween Horror Nights, I had to stop in. This is the 2nd Sizzler I’ve seen in a couple of years. The 1st in Puerto Rico and might I add the food was delicious. The food at this Orlando location was ummm… not so good. The most enjoyable things to me where the salads: pasta salad, potato salad, seafood salad and just plain salad. The food really wasn’t good to me. The chicken wings didn’t look like chicken. Too much batter. The other fried foods were fried too hard and taste greasy. Even the dessert was not enjoyable. I ended up getting a 2nd plate of salad. See above. I’ve had my fill of Sizzlers for now well at least this location.

I hadn’t been to a Sizzler since I was ten and had no expectations for my meal here. Boy was I wrong! I ordered a steak and it was cooked perfectly and of better quality than the steak I had the night before at NBA City which was more than twice the price. The salad/hot bar is the highlight here. A wide array of options from salad to taco fixins. You can easily have a satisfying meal without the steak. For the price you can’t beat Sizzler. I reccomend the Malibu Chicken as well. Stay clear of the Chicken Alfredo however.

For some reason after enjoying the splendor of the Epcot Food and Wine Fest, the following morning my friends like going to the most horrendous places to eat breakfast. Last year was Perkins; this year was Sizzler. There was initial complaints from my car; I was neutral as I had never been to a Sizzler before. I will not be returning. The breakfast buffet is $ 3.99. This should be a huge warning flag. The fact that the coffee costs as much as the meal is another. If you want all you can eat fatty, cheap foods, this is great. I didn’t. The mini donuts and the chicken tenders weren’t bad, but I ignored most of the hot food. Lastly our«server» was giving my whole group attitude over beverage refills. Next year, I’m making the push to something decent for breakfast.

Ive eaten at Sizzler down in CA numerous times because my mother loved this place so much for some odd reason. We would order diff entrees(so we can get the cheese loaf) but the Salad bar was a must! You see just from the«Salad Bar» alone you can get full from the diff appetizers, desserts, salads, soups they have! Usually its the wings, fruit salad, pasta salad, chowder, and soft serve. But this time I was craving the breakfast bar for under $ 5! You cannot beat that compared to Golden Corral’s(GC has way more selection though).

When I lived in Covina, CA, my late husband and I were fans of a close by Sizzler where we went there at least once a month. A few days ago, I was having a trip with my girlfriends in Orlando and we were looking for place to eat. Seeing Sizzler sign, I suggested to go there as they have many choices and we thought we had a coupon for discounts from those booklets we got from our resort. Surprised me that this will be my last time there. First, the coupon we had actually was for another restaurant that had a similar name. That did not work. We have a group of 6, then another group behind us. I suggested if they could give us the same discount or we would go somewhere else. OK! We got it. Now, everyone ordered our food. A salad bar, a buffet, or an entrée with their famous steak and shrimp or fish, plus add-on. This was almost like half self-service. You pay before you take a seat, like fast food shop with a higher price. It did not take too long to have our food delivered by a waitress. One girlfriend ordered sirloin steak. I did not know how she liked to be cooked. But I saw it was dry like a jerky. The size was like a kid’s meal. 6 oz??? Another girlfriend also ordered sirloin steak 6 oz. plus size of mushroom and vegetable. It looked the same. I was shocked. I thought they like dead meat. The meat looked like it was shrink. The thickness was like not even 3⁄8 of an inch and over cooked fillet mignon. The size vegetables were like a sample. I had a sirloin steak, bake potatoes, salad and a glass of red wine(as I still believed their steak deserve to go with wine). I asked for medium rare. That piece of steak did not look like the size stated. Perhaps they reduce the size to avoid raising the price. The meat was close to well-done if not dead. The potato was just warm. The salad was OK as we picked what we want. Another girlfriend ordered a buffet of $ 10.- but she said all the hot dishes were cold except the soup which was just warm. One ordered salmon and steak. Not much better. The whole experience was bad. I finally could not hold myself as I was the one to suggest to go there. I asked the manager if we were too early(5:30 pm — 6:00pm) for dinner or the cook had already grilled those steaks waiting for customers, Only one girlfriend could hardly take hers as it was way overcooked and dry. They made her another piece that looked more decent. Bad, bad, bad that I could not imagine a $ 10.- to $ 14.- for 6 oz. to $ 20, — steak in semi– self service restaurant had such a terrible quality food served. Sorry, Sizzler, that would be my last time to your restaurant even you gave us a real 10% off the next time.

yes, i know theres a sizzlers everywhere but damn, this was the only place open and within budget at the time. i just came for the salad bar and at $ 6, i couldnt complain. very good selection of salads, pastas and soup. cant say much about their hot dishes(veggies and meat selections). they did however have a descent nachos bar. but my favorite was definitely the dessert bar! pound cake squares, choco cookies, brownies and vanilla wafers, oh and frozen yogurt. yup! thats all i needed. combine the pound cake squares with some choco pudding… YUM-O!!! overall, this was the cleanest buffet of all the other ones i went to during my week stay here in orlando.

I grew up going to Sizzler and they closed in Broward County maybe a decade ago. To my knowledge I don’t know of any Sizzlers in the South Florida area. With that said, my level of expectation for a place like Sizzler is not high. What I got for the $ 3.99 breakfast buffet is exactly what I expected/received not a cent more. I wish I could have had the Malibu Chicken because I love that and the cheese toast it comes with. Unfortunately it was 7am and the kitchen was not serving that part of the menu:( They had eggs, bacon, salad, potatoes, sausage, grits, croissants, toast, oatmeal, cereal, ice cream, pancakes, biscuits, gravy, donuts, small bagels, damn just about everything… lol Sizzler is Sizzler… enough said. Remember to tell them Dan sent you and Stay Hungry!

There’s a reason why all the Sizzlers closed around here… because of the boring, subpar-quality food. Still, when we were starving and my buffet-loving mom saw Sizzlers with nostalgia, we stopped in. I was actually kind of glad most of the food was bland and mushy because it was easy for me to eat after having my wisdom teeth pulled out. The buffet food was… buffet food. Salad fixins, potato/seafood/pasta salads, soups, mushy spaghetti, mushy beef, mushy plantains, mushy meatballs, mushy potatoes… Perfect for my mushy diet. The mahi mahi entrée actually was not that bad. It was grilled and seasoned rather nicely. But the steak entrees looked overcooked and the shrimp accompanying the steak was definitely overcooked and dry. As a child, I used to love going to Sizzlers. Buffets were always fun. But now, I’d rather eat at McDonald’s for a fraction of the price with the same kind of quality.

You know the after taste of burnt, overly-greasy fried food? That’s what the food here tasted like. I don’t know WHAT we were thinking when we decided to come! We wanted something quick and wanted some salad with meat options… you know, like a more substantial Sweet Tomatoes. Yeah… we got wilted lettuce with wilting veggies and goopy dressing along with a butt-load of fried foods. *gurp* My stomach is just gurgling thinking about it. I gave it 2 stars because it is all-you-can-tolerate and our waitress was very sweet. WHATHAPPENEDTOTHETEXASTOAST??? *tear*

Okay, it’s Sizzler, so what was I expecting? I don’t know, we don’t have them in Chicago anymore so I was hoping for something better than what I got. The Salad bar was very weak, not very large and little in the line of fresh veggies. What bothered me the most was that we were traveling with our kids, ordered each of them kids pizza meal and they didn’t bring them out until about 20 minutes after they brought mine and my husbands steaks out. As for the steaks, they were okay… but nothing spectacular. I don’t think we’ll be going back there when we head back to Orlando again.
