What do you do when your flight is delayed 3hrs? You write a review on Unilocal because what else is there to do.
Flight was suppose to leave at 9:40pm on 4÷7÷16 and is now leaving at 12:25AM (technically the next day 4÷8÷16). First the flight was delayed to 10pm and then pushed back again past midnight. Stood in the JetBlue info desk for over 20min with my handicapped father. The first crew at the desk had to leave midway and said someone was going to come up soon. I forgot to mention we are carrying my Uncle’s remains with us and are trying to get back for a funeral. Needless to say the lady that eventually came up said it is delayed (no apology) and that it’s leaving at 12:25am…what we already knew. When I expressed our concern, urgency for the fragile cargo we were carrying, and dissatisfaction she said she can’t do anything for us and couldn’t guarantee it wouldn’t be delayed farther. She said «there is nothing I can do for you but tell you what I see». Thanks for NOTHING BUT INCONVENIENCE JetBlue. I’ve never had a flight delayed this long where I have been literally stranded in an airport for hours. 3 HOURS TO GO…

Great airline… I fly down to Orlando usually more than once every year from JFK. The Terminal could be a lot nicer and up north where I live, the staff at JFK are much nicer and more helpful this in Orlando. The lady at the gate was quite a bit snotty and I really despised her. So that’s 4 star explanation. But anyways JetBlue is an Amazing low cost airline. The most legroom in coach/​economy seating and to me Is the safest airline in the U. S with no fatal accidents except for ONE emergency landing #292. You also get your own TV screen on their EMBREAR 190, AIRBUS A320 which is AMAZING! Never giving American Airlines another chance! Always fly JetBlue no matter where you are going!

I like JetBlue but here’s my issue: when an employee outright asks for a tip, it’s just wrong. I had checked a bag a few days prior to my flight and for some reason went to the desk outside of the airport when maybe I should have gone inside. I had already paid $ 20 to check my suitcase. As I was walking up to the outside desk, I saw a sign saying that it costs more to check in there + tip. I didn’t think much of it because I had already checked my bag in online. I just wanted to hand over my case. I really only give a tip if someone went beyond their job description or was very friendly. These people must walk around their desk to grab your bag and check it in. What a long walk that was too. 8 feet of a walk? The guy did not have any eye contact skills and had the attitude of, «Well, I guess this is my life now and I’m using a prompt because that’s how I’m trained. Now if you’d give me a tip, I won’t hurt your bag». I was shocked he asked for a tip because people normally don’t. I’d rather tip a stewardess because they are lifting our bags, stuffing them, and though it’s all in the job description, they take your trash as well as deliver drinks but can be very kind and bubbly. These guys just take your bag and return to the computer. He charged me an extra $ 2 because I had already paid $ 20 and then wanted a tip. If I wasn’t so shocked and scared I may not get my bag since its checked in from outside, I would have said, «You’re asking me for a tip?!» I’ve done it before in another business of some kind but was being funny about it. The other person laughed and I tipped. This guy didn’t seem to care about anyone walking up.
My tip to you is to check in online, check bags online and bring your bag inside to the JetBlue counter. Don’t deal with the guys outside. It makes me wish America was more like Japan where it’s insulting to tip.

Orlando Jet Blu hires the biggest … biggest. ummm. Not So Nice People!
I am sure this vacation hub and the gate agents are just sick and tired of the vacationers from the North spending money on their airlines but they’ve lost it a notch on customer service. Missed getting some people drinks and snacks and are just down right rude.
Let’s face it. they really don’t do much nowadays… not like the old days when airlines serviced their clients.

I was on a flight to Orlando where the crew members didn’t serve row 3 members drinks. They forgot. Had to keep reminding them and at a point they said were landing and it was too late. Imagine sitting on a 3 hour flight without a drink while the guy in front of you gets 4 cups of coffee.
Customer service didn’t care and said to call the JetBlue number as its not a «real issue»… JetBlue rep on phone said to send an email since they can’t do anything and email never got a response.
JetBlue is worse than a budget airline.

Terrible experience. After flying from JFK to orlando for a weekend, on the way home they made us check the bag at the gate (same exact bag that we flew with 3 days prior and we did not add anything to it). The attendent was RUDE, disrespectful and downright condescending. The mosaic and extra leg room passengers had bags larger than ours but i guess paying more means the 22inch bag doesnt apply. When we were on the flight half the overhead compartments were half empty and there is NO WAY our bags wouldnt fit. After already being a half hour delayed to NY, we then had to spend more time going to baggage claim. Absolutely ridiculous.

I flew jetBlue Flight #698 out of Orlando International Airport on Airbus A321. Big and spacious plane. More space than a «Delta_​Comfort» upgrade ($ 39.) (Which I did last time I flew Delta).

All the employees were nice except for one. She was at the desk right by where you board. This was in Orlando International Airport. There was a girl that was from Congo did not speak English that was flying to Utah from Orlando and the lady at the desk was really sarcastic and short and rude to her. She acted like the girl was dumb for not knowing that boarding hadn’t started yet. It put a bad taste in my mouth for JetBlue. The only other complaint I have was that my seat really hurt my butt. Everything else was OK.

Jetblue is great. Both flights took less time than estimated. They still provide small amenities for free (snacks, soda, tv, etc.), which is not always standard these days.

Awful. My fiancé and I had a round trip flight from DC to Orlando for a recent trip and flew Jet Blue both ways. Our flight randomly got pushed back 3 hours with no advanced warning or notification to us. We went up to the counter when we were checking in and asked if they could put us in the system to receive notifications, in case the flight time was changed again. They told us they couldn’t because my fiancé had booked through a third party (think Orbitz and Expedia) and they didn’t provide him with his email address. He said he would be happy to give it to them himself but they would not accept. They said we would need to be at our gate and wait for several hours.
We went to get dinner and our flight time got pushed up again! We called the national Jet Blue representative and they told us there was nothing we could do to receive update alerts and that we would have to keep checking at the airport. They said that since our tickets were linked to the third party service we used to book, we couldn’t be put into the Jet Blue system. Wtf? We are paying customers and flying on YOUR flight! How is this even the case?
I’ve booked through a third party service on numerous occasions and have always gotten notification emails or texts (depending on my preference) about flight status changes… it’s unacceptable that Jet Blue did not care to give us satisfactory service.
Jet Blue is yet another airline I’m going to avoid in the future, if possible.

We had no wait at check in this morning for a flight 52 to Boston. Smooth like silk all the way through to landing. Thank you.

I’m being generous. Terrible customer service. Poor updates. I lost work due to the delays. Which means money loss. JB for their money but I may mine. Nice. The service personnel offered NOTHING for our inconvenience. Truly awful. I will NEVER fly them again. Positively terrible. No excuses…

Our plane is over three hours late due to a mechanical issue from the connecting city. They have several other flights leaving around us that are also going to the New York City are, but they want to up charge me to get on one of those, even though the delay is their fault. Doesn’t seem fair. And for some stupid reason I could not get a seat assignment from anyone until I walked up to the podium at the gate. And then I was told to wait. I don’t get it. I am still waiting to get on the plane, if it really sucks, I will be back to update this initial review.

I just recently booked a flight with Jet Blue to travel to Mexico with my family coming up the end of July. I have been looking for flights for weeks to try and get the best price. With our trip coming up soon and it being our 5 year olds first time flying, I panicked when they say «4 seats left» so I booked it because everything else had stops in between. Long story short 7 days later I found the same flight for almost $ 400.00 cheaper. I called Jet Blue to see if they could honor the cheaper price. First the customer service rep said we can give you $ 400.00 towards a future flight, I was happy with that. I asked her if there was any way we could get the refund because we could use the money for our trip. She put me on hold to get approval to come back and say she couldn’t do anything, not even towards a future flight because I was 2 days past the deadline of making any changes. I’m not only upset, but won’t fly Jet Blue after this vacation because I have always flown their airline, alway been please with their service and have never asked for any kind of refund. It was only 2 days, not 2 weeks!!! I think it’s ridiculous they couldn’t work with me being their such a big company and do some kind of goodwill it being 2 day out of their «grace period». Their a huge airline company and thought their customers would mean much more to them. I work for sales and retention and know how critical it is to make your customers happy. All it take it one person to tell there story to another and you lose customers left and right. I can’t do anything now, the tickets were bought but I guarantee you I will use another airline in the future.

I had wonderful flight. I didn’t feel when we were going up and landing down. Pilot was very knowledgeable and professional. I had flight at American Airlines. I felt bad when it was landing.

Single star for you JetBlue! I usually rave about how nice JetBlue is– that’s why I use them all the time. Hopefully, this is just a little mishap on their part. And yes, I will be writing them a complaint.
They cancelled our flight going home to HPN. They notified us late. How late, well we we’re already hanging out in the terminal gate when I got an automated call from them. Yes, planes need maintenance. I understand that but don’t re-​book my flight for the next day, assuming that will work. Why didn’t they re-​book and accommodated us for later flights instead.
I go to the desk and found fellow passengers complaining and trying to reschedule flights. The only flight they can fit us in was going to la guardia at 6pm. Long story short, the weather was bad here in NYC so our flight keeps getting pushed back. The 6pm flight didn’t leave until 10pm which got us in at 1am-​ish which made us missed work the next day because Laguardia airport is a clusterf&ck that’s why I don’t fly there.
most of the staff were accommodating when I asked them questions except for one. her name was shakira (I kid you not). She was rude when I asked her a question about a flight. She tells me the flight left already when I see the plane still taxed in the gate because they literally just finished boarding. It’s not an invisible plane you know. She needs to learn how to be a better liar when I can see the obvious. What an a-​hole.

Jet Blue is the Most unprofessional terminal at a airport that I have ever been to… Rudeness.

JetBlue Airlines at Orlando airport is one of my favorite airlines to fly back home to New York. I normally fly from Stewart to Orlando on JetBlue. A one-​way ticket that is booked 60 days in advance is usually around $ 124 each way. Sometimes JetBlue run specials for $ 100 a ticket. The best part is it’s a direct flight.
From Orlando back to New York it has always been at the exact same gate every time. The staff is always extremely friendly and they are very accommodating. The pilots on multiple flights have come out and said hi how are you doing etc.
All of the jet blue flights have 36 channels of direct TV for free during your flight. They are the only airline that I have ever flown that has Dunkin’ Donuts coffee and tea on the flight. I think that that is the coolest thing that they’ve partnered with Dunkin’ Donuts to give you a better experience during your flight. The snacks are also very good snacks they are namebrand snacks they’re not airline Brands snacks. They have Snyders pretzels Keebler cookies The Dunkin’ Donuts and the snacks are all free.
I tend to fly nonstop across country quite often from New York to California and New York to Las Vegas. Other airlines that I fly do not have some of the same luxuries that JetBlue has. On these other flight you have to pay for the TV or for movies. Also on these other flights I have spent round-​trip tickets $ 700 + dollars round trip and you still have to pay for these items that JetBlue offers them for free. I know the other flights are cross country but you get my point.
I feel because JetBlue is a smaller airline if any problems arise they can control their problems and issues in a quick and effective manner.
Overall I will continue to fly JetBlue from New York to Orlando and from Orlando back home to New York. The tickets are priced extremely well. You get free live TV and Dunkin’ Donuts on the flight. The only Time that I’ve had a better flight experience is flying private. For a commercial flight especially from New York to Orlando I highly recommend using jet blue.

We took a red-​eye from SLC to Orlando and were certainly glad we did it thru JetBlue! I am not fond of late night travel, but they took stellar care of us.
We were given complimentary earplugs and sleep masks for this flight! Holla ;)
Drinks and snacks were given out early so we could try to get some much needed shut eye… P. S. It’s hard to sleep on a plane!
I loved the complimentary T.V. in each seat and if you wanted to watch a movie, just swipe your CC for $ 5. Easy peasy!
As we were coming in for landing, we were given warm wipes to freshen up our hands and faces! Are you kidding me!!? Who does this anymore? JetBlue, that’s who!
Applause for a job well done with spectacular in-​flight service. With the 2 hour time difference, I’m traveling JetBlue again.

Travel with a roller bag and a small duffle bag, thus avoiding the luggage drop off, heading straight thru to security before boarding, then straight off the plane after landing! Avoid the crowd and enjoy more vacay time!

I sure do have a soft spot in my heart for Jet Blue. The staff is (usually) helpful; however, this time around, the flight attendants were not too happy and willing to help. It might have been the fact that I looked like I could’ve been related to a Zombie… but c’mon! Customer service is key.
I took a Red Eye flight from Salt Lake City to Orlando and was greeted, again, not by the attendants, but by complimentary ear plugs and sleep masks! They were incredible. In addition, the mini televisions on the back of each chair were wonderful. The channels they had were great, from the Food Network to Discovery; and if you wanted to watch a movie, all you had to do was swipe your card and pay $ 5. Holla.
There were snacks and beverages, which I LOVE. Try the cookies, there is just something about a good pre-​packaged chocolate chip cookie that gets me every time. At the end of our flight, the attendants handed out wet wipes to wash our hands and face. I wish I could’ve had another bag of cookies – but, you win some and you lose some.
As I dragged my tired body off the plane and tried not to breathe on anyone with my killer morning breath, the pilot waved us goodbye.
Dang, Jet Blue. You rocked it again.
TIPS & TRICKS:
* Check in early and have your boarding pass sent to your email. You can pull it up on your phone and scan it right then and there. Jet Blue? More like Jet GREEN – Environment Friendly.
* If you can sleep on a plane, buy yourself one of those neck pillows before. Trust me, they work swimmingly – don’t worry, your seat doubles as a floatation device.
